As a mom who breastfed four kids, my breasts were sagging and I was extremely self conscious about them. I am very big into fitness but no matter how much I worked out I was always left unsatisfied because I had saggy breasts. I had the joy of birthing and breastfeeding three babies, but unfortunately, those lovely humans took a toll on my body! Dr. Emmet preformed a tummy tuck in 2014 and it was a wonderful experience. Dr. Emmet is honest, kind, and genuinely cares about improving the lives of her patients. Her assistant Maribel is warm, patient, and very skilleud. I had zero complications with my tummy tuck and I’m happy to say, five years later, I still love my flat tummy! Recently, I went back to Dr. Emmet to tackle my very saggy breasts. Not only did she give me realistic feedback on my expectations but she carefully guided me in choosing my implant size and type. The total experience with my breast lift and implant was also amazing! I had no complications and I love my new breasts! But perhaps the best thing Dr. Emmet did for me was something I didn’t even know I needed. While I was in her office for my breast surgery consult, I shared with her my years long struggle to find the right hormone replacement therapy. I had had an early hysterectomy (age 37). For years I had seen several doctors and tried several oral hormone pills and creams and supplements but nothing had significantly helped. After I listed my long list of awful symptoms such as; weight gain, insomnia, and mood swings Dr. Emmet excitedly told me about a very specific form of Hormone Replacement pellets called BIOTE. She was certain it would help me. She also said, “I don’t care if you get your pellets done with me, but please, find a provider and get, it, done!” After discussing this information with my husband he wondered if a hormone imbalance could be the cause of his recent middle life symptoms like low energy, low libido, and belly fat. After doing our bloodwork, it was clear that Dr. Emmet was right. We were completely deficient in Estrogen and Testosterone and our Thyroid’s were totally out of wack! We’ve both been on the pellets for about three months and it has been life changing! We are happier, we have more energy, and we once again have our youthful sex life back!
