Dr. Archibald did my nasal reconstruction after Mohs surgery took a huge chunk out of my nose. It involved reconstructing a nostril, a large flap from my smile line, and a smaller flap from above. I am VERY pleased with the results. Most people don't notice anything, and some have said that even though they knew about it, they didn't notice or think about it when talking to me face to face. He also corrected my deviated septum, allowing me to breathe much better. Dr. Archibald is a true expert--I think he's the best and I trust him completely. He is also great at describing what to expect, both before and after a procedure. The entire staff is very friendly, helpful, knowledgeable and efficient. Everyone always calls me by name--they just make me feel welcome and relaxed. I wouldn't go anywhere else!

I had basal cell carcinoma removed on the area between my top lip and the bottom of my nose. I was recommended to Dr Archibald to repair the area after having mohs surgery. I was very concerned about what kind of scar tissue would be left. But the healing process was so much faster than I had even hoped for! The picture I'm attaching shows what my lip looked like day 1, day 5, and then day 9. In the time between surgery and when the sutures had to come out, I had to leave town due to a family emergency. Trey was so good to work through the situation with me. He spoke to the out of town doctor to assure they understood exactly what to do which really put my mind at ease. Not only is Dr. Archibald an amazing surgeon, but his staff treats you like family.

I had 5 days of surgery to remove melanoma from my cheek. My dermatologist set me up with a plastic surgeon due to the large crater on my face. I was so lucky he picked Dr. Archibald and his staff. The morning I received news that I was finally clear, Cathy called. Cathy set up everything for surgery at Castle Rock hospital the same day. Dr. Archibald arrived at 5:30pm. I was his 7th procedure of the day and I appreciated that he stayed so late. The surgery took 3hrs and I went home that night. I am extremely happy with the results and after 3 months it looks great. I met Dr. David Archibald in October, 2018, and at the time I was beyond scared of what was ahead for me. I have a long history of skin cancer and have been through several previous surgeries including a skin graft to my upper lip area and 7 weeks of radiation to my nasal tip in 2009 for a BCC. The BCC on my nasal tip came back last year and due to the fact that I had radiation previously there was a concern that the forehead flap recommended by Dr. Archibald would not work. From the day I met him, Dr. Archibald was always kind, professional, attentive, caring and extremely honest regarding what to expect. I asked him (and his staff) 1 million questions, often asking the same questions over and over to the point I thought they would fire me…. But he was always willing to listen to me and he always spent time helping me understand the process and what to expect. Nearly 1 year and 4 surgeries later, I cannot say enough great things about Dr. Archibald. I think he would say, I was a difficult case. I am extremely happy with my results and I highly recommend him to anyone that needs facial reconstruction. I even had another plastic surgeon rave about the results saying what a great job Dr. Archibald did for me. Dr. Archibald’s staff is outstanding; Cathie and Trey are an amazing asset to his team. Cathie even introduced me to a former patient who was a Godsend to me as it was so nice to be able to discuss my fears and what to expect from someone who has actually been through it themselves. If you need a facial plastic surgeon, you should definitely call Dr. David Archibald in Castle Rock, he is a true artist!

I would like to share the experience that I had with Dr. Archibald and his team. I was told by my dermatologist that I would need to have nose reconstructive surgery due to two skin cancer spots. The thought of this absolutely terrified me so much that I even asked what would happen if I didn’t do it. Not an option of course. The Mohs surgeon took 6 hours because they had to go back 5 different times on each spot. I’m sure there wasn’t much to work with when I got to Dr Archibald. I ended up having to have the forehead flap procedure. After my surgeries were completed I’ve shown several people the results, medical people I don’t really know, friends and family. Their responses are always the same, “If you hadn’t said anything I would have never known” and “It looks amazing”. Personally, I think my nose may even look better than before. I can’t even thank Dr Archibald and his amazing team (Cathy, Adrianne and Trey) for not only making a trying experience almost pleasant but for their warmth and caring. I thank my lucky stars that I was referred to Dr Archibald and he was the one who performed my procedure. I would 100 million percent recommend Dr Archibald for any procedure.

Dr. Archibald produced amazing results that far surpassed my expectations. I had melanoma on my face and had much of my cheek removed. I am not even 3 weeks out and there are parts of the incision that you can't see! Friends who have come to visit a few days after, a week, etc were completely shocked at how good my face looked. He is also an extremely kind and sweet man - beyond what I've experienced in a doctor before. He did the surgery on a Friday night and told me to call him over the weekend at any time if things didn't look right or if I experienced any pain. I would never have thought that a diagnosis of melanoma on my nose and cheeks would leave me anything short of being completely freaked out, discouraged, scared to death and having lost all focus on simple everyday happenings. I can't say enough about this man but will never feel any less than fortunate to have crossed paths with him. I have known Dr. Archibald since Dec. of 2014, when he performed surgery on an area between my nose and upper lip where I had just had a dermatologist remove melanoma. The hole looked huge to me and impossible to cover. At the time I was gratetful the melanoma hadn't spread and the hole was a secondary concern, although I was a little anxious about the suturing process. Dr. Archibald brought a serenity to me with his knowledge and calmness and reassurance. I was impressed with his compassion and his wanting me to be informed about how he would close the wound. The final result was beyond my expectations. A little over a year ago I decided, at age 75, to continue working in a competitive field and I wanted to refresh my looks to reflect the spirit I felt inside of me. I consulted with Dr. Archibald about having a face lift at my age. This visit was the first time I'd been to his office in Castle Rock. I was greeted by a professional staff who made sure I was welcome and continued to treat me with great care until I recently concluded my visits with them. I had the Mohs procedure on a Thursday and saw Dr. Archibald on Friday to start reconstructive surgery. He came into the surgery unit that morning before my surgery to discuss what needed to be done. He showed me pictures of my nose after the Mohs procedure and half of my nostril was gone. He told me the reconstruction could take up to three surgeries to fix. I was surprised and scared not knowing the outcome. He told me that he would need to remove the remaining piece of nostril and explained how he would go about creating a "'new nostril"! I am now recovering from my second surgery. Dr. Archibald is an AMAZING Plastic Surgeon whom I would recommend to any and everybody!!!! His work is flawless and you can hardly see any scars on my face. He is the most caring, knowledgeable and extremely talented plastic surgeon I've had the pleasure to work with. His staff is very friendly, considerate and knowledgeable and always makes me feel comfortable and very well taken care of. What a fantastic office!! Everyone is on the same page and is well trained to make you feel you are receiving the VERY BEST CARE possible. I highly recommend Dr. Archibald and will continue to see him (just found out I have another basil cell carcinoma on my right cheek) so I will be going through another Moh''s procedure and plastic surgery next month. I trust Dr. Archibald to take care of the reconstruction and am no longer apprehensive because I am in his care, the best possible care there is!!!

Dr. Archibald performed a septoplasty on me. I was very satisfied with every single aspect of care and administration throughout the process. I had hit my out of pocket max for insurance for the year and the office was able to schedule me last minute. Dr. Archibald and his staff walked me through in detail the procedure, answered all my questions, and were polite and professional. The day of the surgery Dr. Archibald was very calming. Not that I would want to have to go through any surgery again, but if I had to, I would absolutely use his services.

I am only sorry there are not more stars to use. Dr. Archibald accepted me sight unseen to repair a MOHS surgery that was more extensive than originally thought. The defect below my right eye was the size of a fifty cent piece. One month out, I look like nothing happened.
