I had a face and neck lift in early 2014. Dr Teitelbaum had come so highly recommended I had complete confidence in him and his work, so much so I did not seek a second opinion. Although the facelift turned out all right (I ended up with somewhat more jowly cheeks than I anticipated) post surgery there were many problems: I could immediately see that my nose was lopsided; it subsequently had to be redone. On the second surgery Dr T left packing in my left nostril. I had a terrible runny nostril for several days with no clue as to its cause until finally, to my surprise, the bloody packing came out on its own (and the sniffles immediately disappeared). Finally, when I commented to both Dr T and his office manager Vicky that the area under my chin and upper neck felt very numb they each reassured me that it would quickly pass. Four years later it has not.

Dr. Teitelbaum is the Mater Guru of breast augmentation. My 1st breast augmentation from him was 12 years ago. Since then I have had a baby to whom I breast fed and they still looked amazing. But I wanted to re-do them since it had been a long time, so without question Dr. Teitelbaum was who I called. His technique and perfectionism made them look so naturally beautiful. His entire staff is a first class act, and so genuine; love them! To be honest, I had an ex-boyfriend of mine ask me who did my breast augmentation, as he said they were the best he'd ever seen. Since then he has referred 6 girls to Dr. T over the past 5 years. Anyway, he's the MAN!!!!!

Dr Teitlebaum is a surgical genius!! Having had numerous failed attempts at creating a pleasing and anatomically correct bust (I had a breast reduction surgery many years ago), I finally found my creator. Seriously, I was so tired of heavy, hard saline implants that fell off to my sides when I laid down, I had the saline drained out. This left me with "bags" and no breasts. I presented as a real surgical challenge, needing not only the bag removal, but also scar tissue excision and breast lift. I asked for smaller, natural, lighter, rounder and higher breasts. I got just that. My saline breasts felt like appendages, and my new breasts (silicone) feel like a part of me. Are they 100% perfect? No. There is no such thing in my opinion. However,they are the right size, shape and feel. They look great in clothes and bra-less. Not bad for 6 weeks post surgery. To reiterate, I have had surgery at least 5 times in Los Angeles! I am also a registered nurse in the cosmetic arena. I have seen it all and heard it all. Dr. Teitlebaum is the only doctor that was able to create a natural cleavage and make me feel really beautiful. He also performed a little belly lipo which was equally superb. If you are looking for a true professional experience and a doctor who is a highly skilled surgeon, look no further.

Breast augmentation all the way back in 2004, and I could not be happier with it. Dr. Teitelbaum's work looks beautiful and natural. The whole staff was both approachable and professional. Most amazingly, I had almost no pain (still not sure how he accomplished that!) This was a totally positive experience all around.

I wanted to look less tired and everyone told me I needed a face-lift. I was scared because face lifts look so plastic. Then my friend went to Dr T. I visited her that night and she looked great, no bruising. So I decided and I cant believe I waited so long. Dr. T is an artist! He was sometimes in surgery when I came back for my followups, but Audrey took the stitches all out and she was gentle and easy to talk to. Other than that and the expensive parking I look amazing! I just sent a friend there. I am so happy how I look. I would recommend Dr T to anyone.

I had my breast implants removed by Dr. Teitelbaum about 2 months ago and although the surgery turned out as expected ( I only got the implants out, no other work was done) my aftercare did not go as planned. 7 days after surgery ( and 4 days after being told to told by the doctor to stop taking my antibiotics due to a “rash” ( which I directly texted him a picture of) and never put on different ones) , I contracted a cellulitis infection on my feet and chest wall. I spent 4 days in the hospital on IV antibiotics and had a 20% chance of dying according to Dr. Kang at St Johns who was my attending physician. If I had been home alone and didn’t have someone to get me to the hospital she said I most likely would have died due to delirium and not being able to know I needed help . When I showed Dr. Kang the exact picture of the “rash” I sent to Dr. Teitelbaum she said (and I quote ) “ WOW ..: that looks just like the cellulitis on you feet” . I understand infection is a risk with surgery but when I returned to the doctors office to see him not only did he refuse to take any responsibility at all , he tried multiple times to blame me for the infection and proceeded to try and makeup stories about my life to convince me it was my fault. Saying things like I walked around without shoes on or that my job was dirty and it happened at work. He never brought up the fact that I was taken off a 7 day course of antibiotics on day 3 which could of been switched after I sent the rash pictures and could of possibly protected me from any of these things he was making up about my lifestyle. And to be fair, I was REALLY nice and understanding when I first went back 3 days after leaving the hospital , most people wouldn’t have been. I really just wanted him to make things right and comfort me and assure me he would do anything to help , that we were in this together, but that’s not what happened at all. Not at all. He said “ this has NEVER happened to me in 30 years “. My best advise would be to ask your surgeon if he’s capable of making a mistake or if he’s ever made a mistake. Is he answers NO to one or both of those questions. RUN. If he says “ yes of course” , ask him how he would handle the situation if something like this happened to you post-op because it can happen and it does happen and no surgeon is right 100% of the time. Not even the best of the best like De. Teitelbaum.

Dr. Teitelbaum is first class. He is well trained, recognized by his peers and published in his field. He listens to his patients which not all doctors do. He is a true professional. I would highly recommend him.

I have had 2 separate procedures done by Dr. Teitelbaum. Having had bariatric surgery, I desperately needed excess tissue removed from my arms and I had a bad skin cancer on my face near my nose. The thoroughness of Dr. Teitelbaum in his approach to each procedure was wonderful! He very carefully explained to me each procedure, its pros and cons and what I could expect after the surgery. Any fears that I had were alleviated by his thorough, positive approach. I can recommend Dr. Teitelbaum to any of my friends who are contemplating plastic surgery with no reservations! He is compassionate, thoughtful, thorough, professional and an extremely talented surgeon!

It has been 3 weeks, and with a little makeup applied to my face, I'm seeing friends who are amazed how my face looks. I'm still the same old Joanie, but I look so much better. I had a breast augmentation done by Dr. T about 6 weeks ago and am thrilled with how well everything went. I was flying in from out of town for the surgery and so my consult was over the phone. The first time I met Dr. T was the day before my surgery but I had done my research and was comfortable with my decision. Everyone at the office that I dealt with was great. Vicki and Audrey were very patient with me as I had many questions and they were always quick to get back to me. Dr. T was so knowledgable and had a great sense of humor; I knew I would be in good hands. The procedure and recovery were very fast. The morning of the surgery I was back at my hotel shortly after 10am, napped for a couple hours as instructed, then was up for the rest of the day. I did experience some nerve pain in my breasts beginning several days after the surgery which lasted for about 3 weeks, but it has since totally subsided and was told this wasn't anything to worry about. I was worried that I would not be able to work out like I did before the surgery, as I am very active. For the first 3 weeks after surgery I didn't exercise, but then slowly began to again. Now I have been running, cycling, doing barbell presses and using heavy kettlebells again with no issues. I couldn't believe it! I'm so happy that I did this for myself and really can't think of anything I would have changed in the whole process. A big thank-you to Dr. Teitelbaum!

Dr. Teitelbaum is unequivocally THE BEST plastic surgeon! When I realized I required an extremely complicated breast revision, I started researching doctors far and wide. I travelled 3,000 miles to see him and would travel farther without hesitation. For me, the most important thing was an excellent result, and I am fortunate to have the flexibility to choose the best doctor. I did a ton of research, and even considered international options. I interviewed six different doctors and looked at tens of thousands of before and after photos. In the end, Dr. Teitelbaum’s photos were the most stunningly MASTEFUL by a large margin. He is an absolute magician, creating a gorgeous, natural result even when you can’t imagine it is possible. My own results are no exception. I am delighted beyond words every time I look in the mirror! I can’t find enough ways to say “thank you” to him for brining back joy and confidence in my appearance. If you want the best, Dr. T is your doctor! I should also note that his staff is amazing, and the recovery was a breeze. I felt extremely relaxed and cared for in a potentially stressful and nerve-wracking situation. I would have chosen Dr. Teitelbaum based on the photos of his work alone, but if you are considering a surgery with him, you should know that everyone in his office will make your transformation easier and truly enjoyable. How do you describe in a few short sentences a truly remarkable experience with a creative genius? My encounter with Dr Teitelbaum came through a "google" search from my dear sweet mom. What can I say other than the old adage stands true still today..."Mother knows best". Upon meeting Dr Teitelbaum, in the first few minutes there was no doubt in my mind that he was my doctor. A brilliantly skilled artist and fabulous educator, Dr Teitelbaum is in one word brilliant. I scheduled a consult for a rhinoplasty and breast augmentation. After careful examination, Dr Teitelbaum not only told me my breasts were "about the prettiest he had ever seen", he recommended that I not have them done. On my petite frame, he could not see the benefit of "slightly bigger" at risk of affecting their shape. On the other hand, Dr Teitelbaum said I would benefit from a rhinoplasty. I loved the way he spoke about my nose. He said "your nose belongs on someone else's face." (Such a classy way to insinuate that really there are no bad noses, just that some noses do not match a certain face). I am so thankful for his honesty and genuine position. From that day of consultation to surgery completion, every detail was class act. After a one and a half hour surgery, and one hour recovery, I spent the evening in quiet celebration at Dr Teitelbaum's restaurant recommendation, Milo and Olive. (Did I mention that I was supposed to take it easy? I must have missed that on the post op "take home worksheet".) It was too beautiful of a night to not take that 1 mile walk to dine at such a fabulous establishment...thanks Dr T for a beautiful nose, fabulous experience, and now a new favorite eatery. Cheers to a great team!
