I had a consultation scheduled with Dr. Ambe. When I went there, there were 3 people ahead of me at the same time in addition to 2 people waiting inside. But to my huge disappointment, I had to wait 1 hour and 10 mins to see Dr. Ambe. The entire process is painfully slow and their entire staff including Dr. Ambe take their own time. First the lady Jennifer comes and explains the process, then comes Dr. Ambe and then comes Cheryl who gives the pricing quote. For all 3 of them, they moved me to 3 different rooms. Dr. Ambe hardly spent 10 mins with me and seemed to be in rush. Their main purpose is to accomodate as many patients as they can and if there is a botox patient that comes late, she will be given a preference over an initial consultation to another patient who's been patiently waiting for 70 mins. I had to cancel my another appointment that was scheduled 2.5 hrs later at another place to pick up some stuff. I am amazed how short-term thinking they have. They like to focus on quick buck. On top of that, they charge twice the amount for the minimal incision with charging the same price for local and general anesthesia. Bottomline is that, Dr. Ambe did not cover all the details in his consultation and he might be okay in his work but with poor customer service and unusually long wait time, I lost all respect and trust for him, his work, and his office staff. They just don't realize that a patient is not stupid, we know that he's not going to make any money on consultation, so it seemed like it was understood that he would attend the money-giving patients first and foremost. Hugely disappointing :-( In all fairness, please save your time and money, and go to a better plastic surgeon.
