After being diagnosed with breast cancer, I was referred to Dr. Spann. He and his staff were able to work with my physician doing my mastectomy, so that my reconstruction began on the day of my mastectomy. I also had to have a hysterectomy two months later and again, he was able to work with the physician doing my hysterectomy so that the last phase of breast reconstruction and the hysterectomy could be done on the same day........saving me from having to have multiple separate surgeries. My recovery was a breeze with zero concerns or complications! Having been a nurse for 28 years, I have seen a lot. Dr. Spann and his staff are top notch!!

I left one star because that reflects the experience I had. I did not leave a negative comment or anything derogatory, just simply left a one-star review. I felt the need to come and edit it and actually leave a comment since the staff felt compelled to say that I am not a patient there and should not have a negative review. First off, I am in fact a patient there. Second, can you see who is sitting behind the computer? Just because I chose not to use my actual name does not mean that I'm not a patient there. I read your response to another one of your negative reviews and you're basically calling the person who left the review a liar. That's very unprofessional and does not make Little Rock Plastic Surgery look good in any way. Just because that person stated their experience and their opinion of the experience they had does not make them a liar. They see their body every single day and know what it looks like and know the outcome they wanted. If it's not what they wanted and doesn't look right to them and they are unhappy with the results, they have a right to leave a review. That's the whole purpose of being able to leave reviews, to let others know about your experience. Stop being so defensive. As for my experience, I cannot speak for Dr. Spann since he was not the on who performed my procedure; it was done by his nurse. She was rude and did not know what she was doing and after my procedure, I now look worse than I did before I had it done. And most likely, she's the one who is responding to the negative reviews in such a way that reflects negatively on the clinic.

My mother went to Dr. Spann for a second opinion on a revision of her reconstruction. She was nervous about the new information that has come out about breast implants and breast cancer. She felt extremely dismissed by Dr. Spann. He did not seem interested in her concerns. My mother left his office more anxious after speaking with him and getting no answers.

I am very pleased with my overall experience with Dr. Spann. His nurses and office girls are ALL super nice and helpful. This was my first cosmetic surgery, and Dr. Spann was eager to answer any of my questions. Their equipment in office is cutting edge. For my breast augmentation, they were able to create a realistic digital image with a new 3D imagery machine. I was also able to try on different size implants with bras without feeling rushed at all. My surgery day went smoothly, and the entire staff was informative at every little step leading up to the surgery. The prices are affordable too, from what I had researched. What a great group of people! I would never go to anyone else.

I just had my breast reduction done. The surgery process went so smooth, I didn't even know I had anything done when I woke up, until I looked down. I am in such awe at the expertise of Dr. Spann. I was about a size H, and he was able to reduce my size to a B/C!! I really just wanted them very small because my large breasts gave me so many problems. And Dr. Spann understood that I wanted them small. Just being able to breathe effortlessly is such a big deal!! Before, my breasts weighed down on my diaphragm and it's such a big difference, I just wanted to cry. Dr. Spann is a miracle worker! I can't be thankful enough for this! They were able to get my paperwork done and get my insurance approval in such a speedy time since my operation was a medical necessity. I'm just so happy, this is a real life changer. And on a great note, they are so generous in pain management. After I got home the same day, I barely feel any pain!! My pain level is only like 2. I keep up on my medication, but I'm such at an awe because I've heard so many people say they are in pain after. The pain management is 300x better than when I had a C-section at UAMS. Dr. Spann and his clinic is so very sweet. I'm overweight, and they treated me very well and not like I was different . They didn't even mention my weight (I know most doctors like to lecture about that), and was still able to do what I needed them to do. Thank you guys so much!!!!

I absolutely LOVE dr spann and his team. I’ve wanted rhinoplasty since I was 12. I started searching for doctors and going to MANY consultations. I felt like dr spann really made me feel so comfortable in the consultation which sold me on him. The day of the surgery to post op his team made everything so amazing for me. And his prices are very fair! A week after surgery I ended up having some complications (very rare and not the doctors fault!). Dr spann met me at the emergency room and made sure everything was taken care of and even called me on his vacation after I was discharged to check on me himself instead of making his nurse do it (literally no doctors do this!!)and made sure I never got a bill from baptist ER! They were so kind and caring I can’t brag enough about this team!

I had surgery performed by Dr. Spann of Little Rock Plastic Surgery. The staff members are very nice and indeed sweet. However, I initially went in on a consult and specifically told the doctor what I wanted accomplished which were normal breast and cleavage. Unfortunately after the surgery, the doctor and I did not get the results desired and hence one of my breast was left with a pocket and cleavage off center. I spent over 13 thousand dollars for the initial surgery and since it was clearly noticeable, Dr. Spann offered to re-do the ugly breast and try to move it over and repair the cleavage. Needless to say, I paid another charge and the surgery was performed. FAIL! Its extremely uncomfortable and I often can not look at them and certainly don't wear a low cut shirt as the cleavage is noticeably off center. It has now been over a year since the second surgery and I can honestly say, I regret having had it done to begin with. I now have to save more money to have another physician repair this. Yes, the physician is aware that I am unhappy, that it looks bad and sometimes feel slight pain. While I know that things happen and nothing is perfect, has he called or had a staff member call to follow-up, check to see how its healing or possibly see what arrangements can be made to correct the problem? NO, REALLY? Yes, I do want to remain anonymous as its embarrassing enough...
