The best word to describe this place is Deceitful! This man ruined my life and has cost me so much money in corrective surgeries. I am still not done correcting what he did to me. My body is lumpy and distorted, My facial skin was so stretched out from fat injections that lasted 6 months and completely went away because he does not use stem cells which left my skin so stretched out and saggy and even though I did not need it according to 4 other doctors he performed a surgery under the guise that it was something he invented and was not as invasive. It was nothing more then a lower facelift. He is a smooth talker, always rushing around and and promises he will always take care of you. Then I had my follow up visit and he knew I was not very happy and he had his front desk call and cancel my appointment for no reason. I have heard of him doing this to other patients when he does something wrong and does not want to take responsibility. I spent over $15,000 as an engagement and 50th Birthday present. Of course I called off the wedding because of how horrible I look and feel because of this man. what should have been a happy time in my life was ruined. This is what I get for believing REAL SELF fake reviews.

I did a lot of search online and I had met with five surgeons before I settled with Dr. Shapiro. I chose him because he had a very comfortable and personable style. Off the bat, you could tell that he was passionate and a perfectionist about his work. His office was so supportive and kind. The employees there had work done by him, which was great to see as a live testimonial. I had the works: a facelift, browlift, and a blepharoplasty. I’m an older mom – I had my son when I was 45 years old. People kept assuming that I was his grandmother, which is no big deal to me. As most mothers do, they completely give themselves entirely to their children, but I wanted to do something for myself and so I decided on a facelift. I am absolutely thrilled with the results! It’s been roughly two months since I’ve had the procedure done and I look fantastic. The only rough part was getting back to work after two weeks of resting, because I was still not completely healed. Other than that, everything has gone flawlessly. I absolutely recommend Dr. Shapiro to those who are looking to get this type of work done.

This is written under a pseudonym. Dr. Shapiro is great. Though he doesn't have a perfect track record, he is a talented surgeon. I have several friends I have referred through his doors and most all have been pleased. That being said, some of the new staff members he has added the last few years are awful. I'm in my thirties myself but he has hired young millennials who think so highly of themselves and who are rude behind patients backs. They forget that they work in the service industry and their jobs are due to clients coming in the doors. Several others have also noted this. I will now be going elsewhere for all my plastic surgery needs and advising my friends to do the same.

I have been wanting a facelift for awhile now. Did research and when I found Dr. Shapiro I knew he was the one I wanted to do my surgery. Felt very comfortable with him and he explained what he was going to do. Even wanted a picture of me when I was younger. I am feeling and looking amazing now even though it has been a few weeks. I was referred to Dr. Shapiro from a friend who also had used his services. I had met two other doctors before but his attention to detail, thoroughness and concern had moved me. Words cannot express how GRATEFUL I am to Dr. Shapiro!!! I had a rhinoplasty done by Dr. Shapiro 2 months ago and it has truly changed my life. My nose looks very natural and I could not be more happy with my results. I had multiple procedures preformed; Facelift, Rhinoplasty, Breast Augmentation, Upper Blepharoplasty (upper eyelids). To say that I am happy with my experience with Dr. Shapiro and staff, does not do them justice. I should mention that I knew I wanted multiple procedures when I went in for my consultation. My concern was if he would be able to preform what I wanted in one surgery, they can only keep you under for a limited amount of time. I live in the Scottsdale area that Dr. Shapiro has his office. Ask any hairdresser in Scottsdale / Paradise Valley (which I did), it's always the same answer: hands down Dr. Shapiro is the best. They know, they see the before and after close up of every surgeon in the tri-state. And if you' re thinking of a Rhinoplasty; don't even think of going anywhere else. He is simply the best. When I called for my initial consultation they were booking about 4 weeks out. I asked how far out they were scheduling surgeries, that was about 6 weeks. Knowing that Dr. Shapiro was the only Dr. I trusted to perform so many procedures and do them well, I put a deposit down to hold my surgery date before our initial consultation. I was concerned about the deposit thinking the price just went up. But to my surprise his prices came in mid range, even the Rhinoplasty. He is the king of Rhinoplasty, I fully expected that to be maybe even beyond the common price range. The day of my surgery, and my 2 nights at their recovery center were first class as expected. My nurses and caretakers were wonderful. I am now 6 months post surgery. My results are exceptional. Every procedure is perfection, and the nose continues to get better and more defined everyday. I should explain that mine was not a simple hump removal or tip refinement. Mine was a large nose. Everything had to be sized down and the tip projection had to be brought down. While making it the right dimensions for my face. the results are not only beautiful but very natural looking. I should also point out the neck and eyelids. Initially I was not going to have them done, I was thinking of a brow lift. Now I am so happy that I listened to his advice and went with his recommendation. My results are a balanced overall effect. Now I see women who did what I was thinking, I can tell immediately. The areas that were improved look out of place and obvious. Bottom line, don't just do lower face and mid face without the neck and eyelids. I did not do the brow lift, I do not regret it. A touch of Botox gives me the lift I need, only surgery can correct the neck and eyelids. Best of luck to you on your journey !

Dr. Shapiro did my face and neck, after another scottsdale physician jacked my face up. Being afro american I had gone to other surgeons in the valley who refused to touch me Dr. Shapiro took me on. I cannot say enough good things about this amazing surgeon! He and his staff are professional, compassionate people. Without a doubt I got 2 recommendations to him, and one was from another plastic surgeon in the valley who knew he did beautiful work, and my naturopathic doctor who said go to him. I am 1 month post op now, and couldn't be happier with my results. The best in the valley. I had breast augmentation when I was in my 20's and because they were not done correctly, I had to have them redone several times over a period of 5 years. I tried a total of 3 plastic surgeons across the country. None of their work satisfied me! I gave up when my husband and I decided to have a baby and just dealt with the implants I had. They were saline implants set under the muscle but due to the placement of them, they were always low and I had to wear a bra for support. After I had my 2nd child, my stomach and my breasts were not pretty! I was able to nurse even though I had the implants but they were more stretched out and lower than ever before! No matter how hard I worked out and dieted, I could never get my body back in shape, so I went in for a consult with Dr Shapiro to figure out what my options would be. He told me that I was a perfect candidate for a tummy tuck and he also recommended a breast lift. I decided to switch my implants out as well and chose the silicone model! I was very nervous but his staff made the whole process simple and eased my mind. After surgery, I stayed in their post op center for 2 evenings. It is located on the property which allowed me to begin my recovery in an environment where I didn't have to worry about my kids seeing me or jumping on me and allowed my husband to be able to leave and take care of our kids without having to worry about me. I can say now that I have a better body than I had before I had children! I have had so many compliments from people about how great I look and the best part is...they do not even realize I had work done! I believe the best plastic surgery should result in a non "plastic" look! That is what I have and even in the skimpiest of swimsuits, my scars do not show! (That was another worry of mine!) I am so pleased with Dr Shapiro's work and his entire staff! I would highly recommend him to others!

Because of my excellent experience with the surgery, I really felt comfortable with him and didn’t even consider having somebody else this time. During my most recent consultation, he explained everything very thoroughly and went into detail about the procedures. The aftercare was exceptional. I saw him quite often, and did have extensive swelling but he watched it and waited until the swelling had gone down to perform a follow-up surgery where he corrected a place or two. I absolutely love my rhinoplasty results! I feel my nose looks natural and matches my facial features which was important to me because I usually had an eye for nose jobs that did not look natural. I would recommend Dr. Shapiro to family and friends because he truly is a talented surgeon! Dr. Shapiro took the time to actually look inside my nose and was the first physician to ask if I had difficulty breathing which I did because of my deviated septum. Besides the deviated septum, I had a bump on my nose and a bulbus nasal tip. I expressed how I wanted my nose to look like and Dr. S immediately started looking through magazines of noses he thought would look nice on me and he was spot on. He also noticed when I smiled my upper lip would disappear and show my entire gum line. This was also something I disliked but did not know there was a solution! Dr. Shapiro told me that my upper lip was tight because of the frenulum inside my upper lip and a simple frenulotomy would relax my lip so it would not go up so high when I smiled. I love my smile now and I can smile as big as I want or laugh without worrying about my entire gum line showing. This was my first surgery and I was super nervous, but Dr. Shapiro reassured me and made me feel very comfortable along with his friendly office staff. If anyone has been looking for a plastic surgeon, I truly recommend Dr.Shapiro. I'm usually not the type to write reviews, but I am so pleased with my results, I decided it was worth it for someone else to know that may be searching for a surgeon.

Do NOT go to this man....especially if you are interested in facial rejuvenation from fat grafting. I went in to have a little flat placed under my eyes and in my nasal folds, and he filled my entire face. My checks—all these years later—are so overfilled that I won’t even smile in pictures anymore. Of course, when I went in multiple times to discuss a revision (literally bawling), he said that he didn’t do them and there was nothing he could do. When I cried, he rolled his eyes and got mad that I would even question him. No matter what you want to have done, trust me, he will do what he wants as well and you’re screwed. He’s pompous and unprofessional. He won’t fix his mistakes because he won’t even admit that he makes them. Trust me.....RUN from this guy.
