After years of dealing with a deviated septum I finally decided that it was time to get my nose straightened out. After doing some research online I found Dr. Hobgood and he was located right in my neighborhood so I decided to reach out to him and get his opinion on what we could do to improve my breathing. I had an initial meeting with him, explained that I had the surgery once as a child to straighten my nose but after years of sports and other activities it had been broken again and we set an appointment for the surgery. Dr. Hobgood's staff took care of all the heavy lifting for me, they processed the information with my insurance provider and assisted in setting up the CT Scan that was required before the surgery. The surgery itself was intimidating initially and I started to have some second thoughts, thankfully I didn't because the pain was significantly less than I had anticipated and the results could be felt immediately upon waking up. Dr. Hobgood cleared my left nostril to the point that even with the swelling I was able to get more air intake. It's been about 3 weeks since the surgery and while I can still tell that I had something done, nobody else can. I've been able to exercise for longer and my sleep has dramatically improved since the date of surgery. I would highly recommend Dr. Hobgood to any and all folks looking to improve their breathing. I was hoping that my nose shape didn't change after the surgery and while I can tell that it is straighter nobody else seems to be able to tell a difference and I couldn't be happier.

I got my first rhinoplasty done here when I was 18, a classic hump removal nothing major but now my nose is asymmetrical and crooked (not a problem I had prior) when I asked Dr.Hobgood about it he said it was like that before I had surgery... anyways now I’m looking for a revision specialist (which is funny because that’s what he is) will give 2 stars because aside from the appearance I DO like his approach on not using packing and he made the operation very comfortable.

I knew I wanted to go to Dr. Hobgood for my rhinoplasty before any consultations. His competence, qualifications, and specialization in facial plastic surgery made me feel comfortable. Too make a long story short, Dr. Hobgood corrected my deviated septum after others had tried and failed. He is very competent at what he does along with a very good bedside manner. My first real septoplasty surgery was painful (splints) and I bled for 2 months. It also did not fix the problem. With Dr. Hobgood, there was no packing or splints, I bled for a little over a week, it was never very painful, and I was breathing out of both sides of my nose (even with the swelling). I could not be happier and would definitely recommend anyone who needs a septoplasty goes to Dr. Hobgood because he will get it done right the first time with the fastest and least painful recovery.

Dr. Hobgood changed my life! A few years ago I shattered my nose in a dirt bike accident and they had to completely reconstruct it in the ER. While they did an amazing job cosmetically, I ended up with a deviated septum. A couple years later I decided to see an ENT to get it fixed, however that ENT completely botched my nose. I was left with a much larger nose, and on top of that I still couldn't breathe. I finally decided to get my nose fixed once and for all, and I chose Dr. Hobgood. After meeting with him, I cancelled all of my appointments with other surgeons in the area. Dr. Hobgood and his team made me feel so comfortable and confident! The day before my surgery, Dr. Hobgood called to check in and see how I was feeling about the procedure, along with reviewing with me again what I should expect before and after the surgery. He completely put my nerves at ease, I cannot even express how kind, thoughtful, and caring he is. Dr. Hobgood has such a warm and kind personality. Not only is he the best surgeon, but he is such an amazing person as well. I automatically felt so comfortable around him! Not only is he amazing with talking to and comforting his patients, but this man is truly an artist when it comes to surgery. When the cast came off of my nose and the stents came out, I just about cried because the result was so much better than I could have even imagined. Not only does my nose look absolutely AMAZING, but I can actually breathe perfectly for the first time in about five years! Dr. Hobgood is one of the most skilled and friendliest dr's I've come across. After 5 years of suffering from what 3 Dermatologists thought was a cyst by my ear, I did some digging for an ENT doctor and found Dr. Hobgood. Though he is a Facial Plastic Surgeon he is also an ENT doc which I found through my insurance and saw great reviews online so I made an appointment. He diagnosed my problem within seconds and came up with a treatment plan which involved surgery by my ear to remove the problem tissue. At the same time my husband was holding off over a year on getting his deviated septum fixed due to insurance reasons when the injury happened and we made an appointment for him as well. Who better to fix your nose then an ENT/Facial Plastic Surgeon! We have seen Dr. Hobgood about 2-3 times each. I am now post-op and my husband goes in for surgery tomorrow! Dr. Hobgood and his entire staff are friendly, helpful, and professional, I highly recommend him for both ENT and Plastic Surgery patients!!

After getting a recommendation from another ent doctor to get my deviated septum fixed along with sinus surgery to improve my poor breathing through my nose, I decided that if I could improve the appearance at the same time then the surgery would be twice as worth it. So I started looking for a doctor that could do both at the same time. There aren’t many double board certified doctors in both ent and plastics in Arizona, and of those that are, Dr Hobgood seemed to be the obvious choice. The initial consultation went great. No wait time and he seemed to know what I wanted in regards to function and cosmetics before I even told him. He took considerable time to go through the details of everything. Dr Hobgood called the night before surgery to answer any last minute questions and make sure I was all good and ready to go. The day of, he performed a septoplasty, rhinoplasty, and sinus surgery. That night he called again to check up and answer any additional questions I had about the recovery (seriously amazing)... Got my cast off one week later and was able to return to most normal activities the day after that. I am now exactly 4 weeks post op...My breathing has improved significantly and is still getting better each day as the swelling continues to subside. I could not be happier with how my nose looks. It looks incredibly natural (none of my friends or coworkers mentioned any difference although there is definitely a difference), still looks masculine (I’m a guy in early 20s), and it doesn’t droop anymore! Awesome experience from start to finish! Highly Recommend Dr Hobgood!!

Recovery was better than expected. I had little to no pain and minimal bruising which was shocking to me as there was a lot that had to be done. I mostly just had swelling and extreme sinus pressure which went away once the cast was removed. I’m only a little over a month post-op but I’m already extremely happy with my results.

OMG! If I could give 500 stars, I would. I have recently had a rhinoplasty at Todd Hobgood's office and it was the most wonderful experience, EVER. I'll start from the beginning. I have ALWAYS wanted to have my nose done, as it had a very large bump and some other issues, since I was a young girl. I'm now 30 and decided to go for it! I went to Dr. Hobgood's office and from the moment I went in I felt welcomed and comforted. ALL of the staff at the office were friendly and calming, which is very important when you're going to have a surgery. When I went in for my consultation, Dr. Hobgood took the TIME to educate me on the rhinoplasty process along with answer any questions I had. He was intelligent, kind and honest. I'll admit, when going to a consultation, you are definitely judging an overall "feeling" you get when you meet the doctor. And I knew this feeling was just right! I felt confident from our conversation that this would be the doctor to take away the years and years of self doubt I had with my current nose. After the consultation, I booked an appointment and got the ball rolling. I had my pre-op appointment where, again, the staff was kind and patient. Ashley, part of the awesome staff, answered all of my jitter-filled questions and made me feel comfortable and even more excited. Shortly after, it was surgery time. Dr. Hobgood spoke with me before the surgery, went over the process again and made me feel 100% ready! I could hardly wait to get in that operating room. Since a septoplasty fifteen years ago I've had difficulty breathing through one of my nostrils. My septum collapsed to one side and my nose drooped under its own weight. I knew any repair now would be fraught with difficulty. Frustrated after a recent cold, I began searching for the best doctor I could ask questions about my case. Ideally, this doctor would be both an ENT and a plastic surgeon with many cases of experience. I searched for ENT's in Arizona and looked for those that were also plastic surgeons. That alone brought Dr. Hobgood to the front. I was happy to find rhinoplasty is the primary focus of his practice and he has performed thousands of these surgeries. I scheduled a consult to discuss my options and, due to a cancellation, I saw him the next day. Dr. Hobgood had a wonderful bedside manner and spent about forty minutes discussing my situation and answering all my questions. My case would not be easy but could possibly be improved with surgery. He helped me to understand where I could best place my expectations. After a few days of consideration, I decided to have the surgery. I have had three other surgeries and this one was by far the smoothest. I am now two months post-op and I can breathe comfortably out of both nostrils. Cartilage from my ear was used to rebuild my septum. The result far exceeds my initial expectations. I sense that Dr. Hobgood really pursued my case and sweated the details while I was asleep. I trusted his judgment and he did an excellent job. I'm extremely glad I found Dr. Hobgood and had this surgery. I recommend Dr. Hobgood generally and have specifically to two friends. The office staff is very nice and always easy to reach. It was a pleasure working with everyone on his team.
