I met with David Feist and Kat/Cat. They were very personable. I had a mole removed and to see if I had a damaged nail bed. The mole removal was quick and easy. David Feist believes the nail is splitting and recommended a very expensive "topical" that isn't covered under insurance as it's deemed cosmetic. The nail can be very painful as it splits almost to the cuticle. I found a website where a free sample can be requested from a physician. I left a message asking that someone call me back and I emailed the office directly with the link the the form as well as an explanation for the physician's request. I have never heard back either way. Had someone even replied to say this isn't possible, it would have been an acknowledgment. I don't know if I'll return to the office when follow-up is ignored and I was trying to help do the legwork.

Short wait times, friendly staff, nurses and doctors listen to your concerns. Had a mole removed that looked like cancer, it was sent to a lab for a biopsy, the office called as soon as they had the results. Fortunately the mole was benign. I will return for any other skin care needs. Highly recommended.

Dr. McCrackin completely humiliated me while in his office for less than five minutes . I went in with concerns about a mole that's on the center of my top lip that I've had nearly thirty years. I was immediately told how unattractive it was. Dr. McCrackin let me know that, "as a young lady, someday, a young fella is going to want to kiss your lips.... You don't want that to be there." I was completely mortified with his statement that I was at a loss for words. He quickly asked me if I would let him numb it and slice it off with a razor blade because that's what he'd do if I were his family. I was appalled with his lack of compassion. I felt like I was just another number or a quick money maker. I will never come back to this facility. As an RN, I certainly will let others know about this incident as I work at the largest hospital in the Phoenix area and also work with other dermatologist's in the local area. I would not recommend Dr. McCrackin, ever.

I was angry in office due to wrong information given on the phone about my appointment and the Doctor that I would be seeing and waited three weeks to get an appointment in the first place . I’ve been a patient there for a while. While I walked out of the office to calm myself and make a call the office staff mocked me and made fun of my upset out loud in front of my kids. Very unprofessional. I understood they couldn’t control what I was told over the phone but it is ok to be upset and both myself and my spouse missed work to try and get it clarified have the kids seen.

After having a child some things are just not the same, so I decided to change my life two weeks ago and treat myself to a body transformation. I took my mom in for care - she is 84 and unfortunately has dementia. The scheduling staff were incredibly understanding about the challenges with dementia and got us an appointment that worked out for my mom. And Dr. McArthur was spectacular. He was clearly familiar and trained in dementia care, he spoke right to my mom, often it is easier to speak to me, but he spoke to my mom and made her feel noticed and cared for. He asked her about her past as he was caring for her leg - he knew that speak of the past was soothing to a dementia patient. I just cannot say enough positive things about the care provided to my mother.

My husband had never been seen by a dermatologist. He had a rough growth pop up on his back so I insisted on making him an appointment. It turns out that spot was nothing. But Kara Gooding told us that another tiny spot on his back needed a biopsy. The results came back as nodular melanoma. She caught it at stage 0. He had a larger portion removed around it and is doing great. Get checked regularly by a dermatologist!

(I can lip read sometimes) The staff and the DR took their time and talked to me, making an effort to speak in such a way that I could understand. Talk about quick and easy! I called for an appointment yesterday. Originally they had an appointment for a week away, but it was the day I was flying out for a week. They looked and were able to get me in first thing this morning. They had a portal to fill out the paperwork which was quick and easy and kept me from having to arrive early to do paperwork. The Dr immediately knew what the dry spots on my face were and called in a prescription. I have a followup next month with a full body check, which everyone should have annually. MUCH better than someplace else I went to last year who seemed too bored to do more than a cursory glance.

Nice office & location, phone scheduler was very friendly, front desk gal was ok..acted indifferent towards me & another woman in the lobby who was awaiting her husband being treated for skin cancer. Unfortunately I felt as though rather than being treated medically I was trying to be sold products. Dr. was friendly & discussed my "aging skin", quickly treated 3 spots that I pointed out stating they were "pre-cancer", he found nothing on his own & missed the spot (treated next to the spot on my nose). He stressed the importance of the creams he recommended and gave me a piece of paper. It wasn't until I went to the pharmacy that I realized the creams were their own $200 products. I called the office to ask that they prescribe something that my insurance would cover. When I went to pick it up the pharmacy said the Dr. said this was strictly cosmetic and would not revise the RX. Strange to me that the products are SO important if you buy them there but just cosmetic if they aren't profitting. I haven't had good insurance for years so thought it was a good time to do what I can for my skin. Unfortunately I feel like the visit was a waste of time & money. I chose this place based upon reviews...maybe I just got unlucky.

My family doc dismissed a large mole as nothing to worry about, but when center for dermatology and plastic surgery had a "melanoma Monday" event I popped in to have them check it out. They said it looked suspicious and removed it quickly after. Came back as melanoma so they had me come back in to make sure they'd gotten it all. Feeling very grateful for center for Derm. for holding the event and catching this early. Not to mention the staff and docs are professional and very courteous. They got a female to check me and were so respectful. I got phone calls and texts from Dr Kelly after both procedures to check on me.

Dr. Kelly was soooo nice. Seriously, my mind was blown. It's been such a long time since I've met a doctor that actually treats a patient like a human being instead of a paycheck (you know what I mean...the in and out the door in the blink of an eye with hardly a word spoken type of doctors that seem to have monopolized the medical field lol). He was pleasant to talk to, explained the diagnosis and procedure, and made me feel comfortable during my appointment for a small skin surgery. He took his time and most importantly, the procedure was pain free. His assistant Heather was awesome too - super sweet and did a great job administering the anesthetic. Though I'm hoping I never have a reason to see Dr. Kelly again, at least I know that if I ever do, I'll be in good hands. Highly recommend him.
