Dr. Leverett and team are incredibly friendly and kind and their care is top notch! Their office is beautiful and clean with thought behind every detail to make you comfortable during your appointments and treatments. I haven't jumped on the Botox wagon but I trust them for other treatments I've had done such as Cool Sculpting, Facials, and I get all of my skin care products from them. I did a breast lift with textured 500cc implants on Nov 2015. My initial result was great. Everything looked wonderful. Three weeks post-op I started to experience a rash that ran along the lateral sides of both breasts. With Dr. Leverett’s recommendations, I underwent an MRI and also a skin biopsy, neither tests resulted in any concrete diagnosis. This started my weekly to bi-monthly visits to the doctor’s office. Due to a suture not properly healing my left implant became exposed. I was devastated. Again, I was told the office would help me and that Dr. Leverett would replace the left implant and waive his surgical fee and that his office would really work on my behalf with the implant company. I underwent a second surgery for the removal which went fine. At this point I was still being told that there was no infection and that the doctor had really no idea why/how this could happen. His only explanation was “a case of the bad lucks.” On 2/22/16 I got an estimate from Denise, the office coordinator, (also his wife) for what the re-implant procedure would be. One month later, the right breast was swollen and distorted and needed to be taken out. The atmosphere of “we are going to hold your hand” stopped. I was a nuisance that just kept showing up. There was talk of it being my fault—auto immune disease, physical activity. None of which added up. Denise then printed up a “new” estimate for me. If I wanted to get my implants re-done she would charge me the same amount as if I was a new patient. I was floored. How could this be? Denise proceeded to tell me that this was already my 3rd surgery and that Dr. Leverett couldn’t afford to comp his surgical fees any more. What? The first surgery I paid cash up front and in full. The second and third was only 45 min of his time for the REMOVAL of his work. Both times I paid all the other surgical fees included. Now, after paying over 10k, I am stuck with breasts that are even smaller and droopier than what I initially went into his office with. If I want to get this fix I need to spend another 6k for another doctor to finish what Dr. Leverett started. My conclusion: Please stay away from Dr. Leverett and his staff. I don’t believe that what he did would be considered malpractice, but I do believe abandoning me like he did is unethical. And yes, I will be filing a complaint against him with the board. Another thing, I got sucked in by his “event special” pricing. I thought I was getting a great deal. In retrospect, I’ll end up paying almost double. If any doctor has to discount his work in order to bring in clients after he’s been in practice for over 20 years than there is something wrong. A good doctor stands behind his work and never feels the need to discount his services because his patients will refer their friends. I definitely will be telling all my friends and patients about Dr. Leverett, but you can be sure it won’t be a recommendation. UPDATE: On 12/22/16 I underwent another breast augmentation with Dr. Spies. I was implanted with smooth Sientra implants. As of 5weeks post-op everything looks great, no rash, no complications. During this process, Dr. Spies stated that textured implants have an increased chance of fluid retention around the implant. Though this is rare, I believe this explains what happened to me. I don’t think it’s a coincidence that another plastic surgeon, with the same number of years in practice, was able to tell me the cause of the failed implants right away. Before going to Dr. Leverett my breasts were very symmetrical. For the 2nd augmentation surgery, Dr. Spies needed to put in smaller and different sized implants for each breast because of the amount of scar tissue and the considerable difference in size between my breasts. So yes, Dr. Leverett’s negligence caused permanent damage to my body. This was not just a “case of the bad lucks.”

Over the past 3 years I have lost over 90lbs by changing my lifestyle and incorporating daily exercise into my routine. After I dropped the weight I was unhappy with all the extra skin and loss of my breasts. I came to Dr Leveretts office after receiving great feedback about him. My first visit in the office was great and the staff made me feel so welcome. Dr Leverett is a smart and charismatic man and made me feel very comfortable the whole examine. After discussing options with him I decided to go forward with a tummy tuck and breast augmentation. I attended a couple other follow up appointments to determine size and to discuss my upcoming procedure. Once again I had a great experience with all the staff and always felt comfortable. In March I received a tummy tuck and breast augmentation and I couldn’t be more thrilled about the results. Dr Leverett is an amazing surgeon and the results were like nothing I could ever imagine!! Not only do I have a flat stomach but I also have amazing curves. I am constantly receiving compliments on how great I look. I am so thankful for dr Leverett and his staff! I am going to sum this up the best I can.. so much has gone on... I went in for a tt procedure Feb 2016... got an infection.. was neglected.. told to sit in a jacuzzi with an open wound.. it was horrifying... he sent me home after a visit and 30 hours later I was airvacced out... was hospitalized 17 days.. under went 7 surgeries of intensive wound therapy... since then I have had 3 more surgeries, 2 procedures on my back.. 4 random looking "stitches" removed.. took him to the medical board... they dismissed the case because HE LIED UNDER OATH... this DR had had 9, yes NINE cases go in front of the board and all have been dismissed..now I know why... the state of AZ requires an expert witness dr to testify... talked to 2 and they BOTH agreed that he was sloppy and a haphazard.... but obviously believed his lies. 6 lies in his records that I proved to be false information.. a case like this is tough to pursue although my attorneys are in shock that he got away with it.. I am scarred for LIFE.. emotionally and physically all because he didnt feel "i" was worth his time.. he had absolutely NO compassion.. told me I had a fever because I didnt get out of bed.. told me my excruciating back pain was from lack of exercising and was then determined I had 120ml of pus on my backbone... I am not only paying for a botched surgery, I'm suffering tremendously due to the pain I have on a daily basis 2 years later.. I could go on and on and wish I could post my pictures as I will wherever I can.... please message me with any questions as I will do my best to answer... please find someone who will care about you, not BLAME you for their mistakes....

BEST doctor; BEST staff! I visited 3 other surgeon's/offices in the valley and, trust me, none compare to Dr Leverett. The office experience couldn't be better- super caring staff, no scheduling hassels & VERY thorough. Surgery experience- PERFECT. I've never had surgery before and it was a breeze. Outcome- AMAZING. Dr. Leverett is a perfectionist (so is his MA!). He genuinely cares about his work- definately an artist. He has you come in for a LOT of post op appointments to ensure proper healing takes place- some doctors don't do this, or they charge you extra for post-op visits. The healing process is crucial to the ultimate outcome. So many people complain that their surgeon has a poor "bedside" manner. Dr. Leverett is funny and nice- my husband felt really comfortable with him too because of his down to earth personality. Overall, I couldn't dream up a better doctor/staff/experience, and I AM SUPER PICKY!!! His fees are very reasonable; but even if he charged twice as much as other plastic surgeons, I'd save up & go to him.

It is never too early to prevent fine lines and wrinkles from appearing! I started getting injected with Botox by Christina at 26 years old. I still look like myself and the lines that would form when I smiled or looked angry no longer appear when I make those expressions. I understand that at 26 I didn’t “need” Botox, but to maintain a soft, youthful appearance it is best to get started before the fine lines become permanent. I absolutely love Christina and the gentle touch that she has. She never pressures me to do more than what is needed and with her 15+ years of experience as an injector, I 100% trust her!

I searched tummy tucks and lipo over the internet and magazines for over a year and have had consultations with 4-5 plastic surgery doctors . After meeting with each one of them, I took the information back home to think about and marinate on for a while. One thing they all had in common was the ability to answer my questions honestly, but I felt neither of them struck my interest. They all drew on my body, marked what they would leave or remove, and spoke of other information such as recovery. However, I was looking for a doctor who can give me an extreme visual of what his/her experience can do to transform my image. I was hoping I'd come across a doctor who was just excited as I was. It's like bringing your car to a body shop and asking how they can use your hard earned money to completely transform your car into a wow factor. I'd expect the professional to come to life based on his/her experience and pull me into his brain so I can picture what he sees. I expect the trust to be formed that same day and continue until I come back to pick up my vehicle. That's exactly what happened with Dr. Leverett. I JUST KNEW after meeting him and his staff that this is the family of experts I want to place my body in the hands of. Doc mentioned giving me woman curves and had me lift all the fat up so I can see my natural shape underneath. This was my first doctor visit where I was able to envision my sides curving in and my lower back nicely shaped without having to go through past patient photos. Ok, that's their body...what can you do to MINE on a much more personal level?? I asked for the soonest surgery date they can fit me in. The day after my consultation, I paid in full and was on the surgery table about a week later. The truth of my recovery period: Excitement and envisioning my nice midsection was over during the first few weeks of recovery. Due to paying for Exparal, a numbing medication injected in my ab muscles, I felt minimal pain in that area. However, the areas of lipo burned, ached, and was painful every single day for about 3-4 weeks. My hips took a painful beating as well. I was so swollen and bruised for 3 weeks and I couldn't envision the nice physique Doc talked about anymore. It is now almost 2 months after the procedure and I see EXACTLY what he was talking about, but BETTER! Dr. Leverett gave me my flat and small midsection back, magically created my side curves, and sculpted my lower back. He explained that after he sat me up on the operating table, he wasn't satisfied so he laid me back down and performed lipo to give me a flatter look in the front and more curvier look on the side. Some doctors wouldn't even care to go the extra mile. Doc caused me to bring back a part of my wardrobe I wouldn't touch before the operation. Take it from a person who critiques every professional, product, and service from every angle possible and has written both good and bad reviews. If you plan on having plastic surgery, give Body by Leverett a chance. I'm sure your experience and results would be just as good as mine. I'm excited for the coming months since my transformation is slowly but surely progressing. Swelling has been decreasing weekly and I now have a better relationship with all the long mirrors in my house because I stop moving just to take a quick look. I just recently had my breast done on May 2,2014 by Dr. Leverett, I must say this was my first time having plastic surgery and it was a great experience. Dr. leverett and his staff go above and beyond for their patients. The doctor and his staff were very educated in how the surgery would be done as well as the healing process. In addition to that the staff were exceptionally friendly each time I went to the office. Dr. leverett was very honest in explaining how he could fix my boobs and didn't sugar coat anything. On the day of surgery I went to the Tempe new day surgery center. At Tempe new day the staff were just as friendly and very professional. After the surgery I found out I was allergic to one of the medications prescribed to me. When I called Dr. Leveretts office his answering service got in contact with him and the doctor called me back right away to get me new medications. Since then I have been doing a lot better and his staff called me yesterday to see how I was doing with the new medications. I'm still in the healing process and definitely still swollen but I'm extremely happy with Dr. Leverett and his staff. I would recommend them to everyone.

Not happy with results. If you need cosmetic surgery done to your face go to an ocularplastic surgeon. I had a upper and lower blepharoplasty and a revision surgery about 9 months later. Dr. Leverett was dismissive about my concerns and I'm just not happy. I don't believe that I'm being unreasonable. I also have to go back to get a scar that was left under my eye resurfaced with a laser. Update: I had a third revision to resurface the scar he left under my left eye it looks exactly the same after 8 weeks. Dr. Leverett just has shaky hands don't go to him especially on delicate areas.
