There was optional cool air that could be blown on your face and hands which was very soothing. Cheryl applied aloe Vera to my face after the procedure which felt very good. I recommend Dr Koehler without reservation . He is, without a doubt, a Master Surgeon with a kind and gentle manner. He is always busy but when he spends time with you as a patient, he never acts rushed. Answers all questions and offers explanations and details that make me feel I am in competent hands. I have had 2 separate complicated procedures, each with fabulous results. The first procedure was a tummy tuck. My abdomin was no doubt my worst feature. He took my worst feature to become one of my best features. I now have a very nice, flat stomach with a little waist. My new "hour glass" figure is way more than I ever expected. Dr Koehler never delivered big promises, just huge results. Still healing from my face and neck lift performed a week and a half ago. It is already pretty amazing. My neck had prematurely aged. Now it is smooth and firm with a strong chin. My face is smooth and firm and virtually wrinkle free. I realize after some of the swelling subsides I'll probably need a filler around the mouth area. I can tell there will be no wrinkles around the eyes. Both procedures have really given me a boost in confidence. The only drawback is my old loose tops I used to hide my stomach no longer have a place in my closet. It's fun buying new, figure accentuating clothes. His staff and facilities are impeccable. I felt his fees were very reasonable. When I received my quotes I was pleasantly surprised with the amounts. If you're considering a cosmetic procedure, definitely have a consultation with Dr Koehler

I have nothing but positive things to say about Dr. Koehler. He is my new favorite person! After having undergone gastric bypass 14 years ago , losing over 150 pounds, and regaining 20-25 pounds after 2 difficult pregnancies, I was left with a pouch of about 10 pounds of extra skin and fat on my abdomen. I had tried losing weight. Even though when I looked in the mirror parts of me looked anorexic at a lower weight, I could never lose the belly. I had lost motivation and gained weight over the summer. After much research on the internet, I chose to make an appt with Dr. Koehler for a consult. I went in planning for a $6k tummy tuck and he advised me that I would never be completely happy with the results unless I did a body lift. He showed me some before and after shots and I was convinced! I made an appt for surgery that day, put down my deposit, and off I went with pre-op instructions and suggestions from Denvia on obtaining financing for the surgery. I found that the staff is indeed great. They all have wonderful personalities and all seem to be happy to be there and enjoying their jobs. They seem to be genuine in their desire to make sure you have a good experience in the office. I have rarely had a long wait in his office. My surgery went very well. My husband and I were given an estimate of about 7 hours to complete my surgery but I think I was in recovery within 5 hours. In my opinion, my incision line is very beautiful and over time I expect it to be practically non-existent. I think my stretch marks may be more visible than his suture line. My pain was practically non-existent but I have a high tolerance for pain. The drains caused me the most grief. I had one that had to stay in 3 weeks and my hip was very sore by the time I got it out. I did take the medications prescribed for the first 2 weeks so my body would heal properly. The worst part of the surgery for me was weeks 3 and 4 because I was ready to get back to normal but my body was so exhausted. I compensated by taking boat loads of vitamins and the exhaustion slowly got better. I am now 6 weeks out and have been given the go ahead to exercise and I look forward to shaping my new body. Dr. Koehler is a perfectionist and I would gladly recommend him to anyone looking for cosmetic surgery. I trust his staff completely and as I turn 40 this year will probably be treating myself to some of his non-surgical services as well.
