Athletico Physical Therapy 18000 W Bluemound Rd Brookfield WI Dear Zach and Dawn, As you know I filled out an online email and nominated Zach Johnson as an outstanding therapist. Let me begin by listing some important attributes that, when put together as a whole are uncommon and rarely found in any one person let alone two at the same location. Zach, I have observed you over a period of three months and you have always said “hello” to every person who has entered. You have a plan ready for each patient because you are disciplined, organized, and deeply dedicated to every patient’s full recovery. You have a wonderful sense of humor that never makes fun of anyone and you easily engage with whomever you are with so that the patient is able to develop a trusting relationship. If I cannot perform the exercise initially, you easily substitute another. I have seen you encourage others and remind all of us that this is a process that will take time and patience while continuing to push all of us toward better health. Now that my spouse is under your care I see the same compassion as you meet her needs. She has never once felt you minimize her fears or concerns. You listen and respond with such empathy, Zach. This brings me to Dawn. Before I could even start my first appointment with Zach, I asked if you could find out if Athletico was in my insurance network True to your word, Dawn, you called me back a day later and explained we were in network but there were deductibles, co-pays and co-insurance to meet. When I walk in, you always greet me with a warm smile, help me onto the bike, and give me a towel with some water. “It’s all part of the service,” you mention with a genuine smile. Setting up the schedule for Zach took some time and I was sent home with a copy to then put into my calendar. You made every detail so easy for me and I felt that you wanted to give me the best experience during therapy. On the phone or in person you bring the very best of yourself to all of the patients there. Now that Lisa is going to Athletico, she was worried about workman’s comp not reliably getting information back to you I told Lisa not to worry because, “Dawn will call until she reaches your case manager and has received approval for your therapy sessions.” You did not disappoint! This is a tremendous burden for patients who worry if they have coverage and how much their out of pocket costs will be. You have removed this big stressor from us so that we can focus on getting better. Both Dawn and Zach make sure the snow is cleared, salt is on the pavement and will come out to the car to help those in need, rain or shine. They work so well together and it is wonderful to see the deep respect between the two of them. This kind of working relationship creates an atmosphere that is both relaxing and refreshing. It is all so very positive and I am glad to have been so lucky to have found such a great team! I want your supervisors to know that neither of you has ever asked me to write a review. When I meet two people who know why they are working and care so very much about everyone who needs their help, I feel an obligation to help others who are looking for exceptional care to consider Zach as your physical therapist and Dawn who will coordinate your benefits and calendar. I can’t say enough good things about the team of Zac & Dawn! Zac had some pretty big shoes to fill when therapist Mary moved up to management....but he had no trouble measuring up. Unlike other therapy agencies, I have never dreaded coming to an appointment. Dawn is amazing also! I know that they both genuinely care for my well being and they go out of their way to do everything within their power to help me feel as best as I can. Thanks to both of you for helping me manage what is often unmanageable!!!!!

I worked with Zac and Dawn for about four months after foot surgery for a bone spur, bunion and arthritis. They are both fantastic! Boh are unbelievably caring and professional. They treated me as a friend (almost family) each time I visited. They were flexible with scheduling my visits and went out of their way to be sure I was accommodated. I was very pleased with my treatment plan as well as the explanation of what my plan entailed. I always felt informed regarding the progress of my therapy and where I would be at the end of our time together. I almost wish I had a reason to return, but also, I don't really want to be busted up again. Maybe, I will just stop in and say hello one of these days. I miss them both!

I have been going to see Zac at the Brookfield office and he is an excellent therapist. He always wants to know how you are doing and works hard improve my problem and also he makes the sessions enjoyable. He is even going to the neurosurgeon with me to make sure that both he and the surgeon come to the right conclusion on whether surgery is needed. Dawn, who runs the office side of it, is also one of the most organized and easiest persons to work with. Scheduling with her is a breeze and they are very flexible to work around my schedule. As another patient said, coming to this office is the highlight of his week. Great way to have fun and get healed.

Professional and Top Notch I went to a top notch surgeon for my hip surgery and he referred me to a top notch Physical Therapist. Zac Johnson is professional, patient, kind, and very conscientious at every level. He was able to restore me to full function and I looked forward to every visit! That is ALOT to say for me because I have always disliked PT before and never felt it helped much. Now I know what can happen with someone who really knows his stuff! I'm very thankful I decided to go with my surgeon's referral because I wanted to go local instead. (I was 45 minutes away.) It has made all the difference! He makes it enjoyable, and most important, he makes it effective.

Zach Johnson is a wonderful physical therapist! My wife was having severe back pain and issues walking, and Zach was patient, attentive, and willing to listen. He spent time helping her, and never once made us feel like we were rushed. In between visits, he researched other ideas that might help my wife's condition improve. His assistant Dawn is a warm welcoming face to the office, and extremely helpful working with insurance. Top notch service, professionalism, and compassion! Physical therapy here was a life changing experience.

After being in a serious car accident, there were days that I only looked forward to physical therapy. Zac and Dawn make this the best environment you would ever want to be in while injured or in a medical situation. They are both so inviting the moment you walk into the door. Zac is a very caring physical therapist but also has the best sense of humor which makes you forget about your pain for a little while.
