Natalie Allen OTD, OTR/L at Northgate’s/Seattle location has overseen my recovery of three separate surgeries involving both my CMC joints (thumbs-to wrist), wrists, nerve releases up both arms and TOC (Thoracic Outlet Syndrome) and she is spectacular at patient care, treatment and recovery, as well as making custom splints to assist in treatment and recovery. Natalie is kind and cares for her patients and she has an extensive medical background, knowledge and experience. Be prepared to have a lot of fun conversations with her and her staff —also, you had better do the exercises she gives you —she ‘knows’ if you haven’t been. (;

After a traumatic and life-altering injury, I was referred to Washington Hand Therapy to begin the long process of rehabilitation and learning to use my right hand again. I am so truly thankful I found Natalie and her team to help me through this! They customized my treatment, pushed and motivated me when I needed it, counseled me through the hard times, made themselves available to me (even working around my crazy schedule), and tirelessly continued to look for new and emerging treatments to help with my extreme case. I am seeing great results and know that I have them to thank for the continued progress and hopeful prognosis of being able to use my hand again soon. With what they have been able to accomplish with my severe injury, I trust they can handle any situation that comes their way. I work as a practice management consultant in the field of healthcare and I can confidently say that the team in Northgate gives top notch customer service and treats all their patients with the utmost care and respect.

I have been seeing Natalie and Rozanni and the WHT team for about two years. I showed up after my first round of hand surgery (of two rounds of surgery only 3 months apart) in extreme pain, with lots of muscle atrophy but an ambitious (one-page, single-spaced, double column) list of daily activities and hobbies that I wanted to regain. They have patiently worked with me even when I occasionally overdo it and take a step back and I am now able to do all of the things on my list. Throughout this process, they have always listened to my needs and found innovative ways to help me achieve my goals, even when my very stubborn set of injuries resisted standard treatments. I am currently pregnant (a life choice I used to think would be impossible with all my hand issues) and they have gone above and beyond to help me brainstorm ways to protect my ‘new’ hands. After two decades of hand pain and a long list of therapists, I am lucky to have found the WHT team and grateful to be able to move forward with my life.

Great place. Friendly people. And most importantly they listen.

Rozanni and her team are the best! They're always thinking of new therapies to help patients become stronger and have better range of motion. They create a friendly and social environment, so patients often end up chatting together.

Rozanni was my hand therapist after a robot smashed my hand. She and her staff were very professional and she works hard to get you rehabilitated. The visits are physical, so don't expect someone to just rub cream on your injury and "see you next week routine". Rozanni personally will work your hand to get results, sometimes some painful hand manipulations but it really helped me fast. When I initially went to her, my hand was little more than a claw and after several weeks of "real physical therapy" I regained use of my hand, My thanks go out to Rozanni for being really good at her craft. If you are really injured and want to see results and not lip service, I can not think of anyone who would be better than she is at getting results fast. She really takes the time and effort with each patient.

I would give ten stars if I could! After three hand surgeries, our five year old daughter needed a hand therapist. After a quick google search, we are so thankful to have found Natalie Allen at Washington Hand Therapy! Our daughter loves her weekly Monday therapy sessions with Natalie. Her functionality has improved greatly with the therapy she has received here. We told our daughter's surgeon at Seattle Children's to send all of his patients needing custom splinting and therapy to Natalie going forward. Natalie is thorough, patient and also makes the therapy fun and engaging for the little ones! Natalie is great with adults too. This is the only medical appointment we actually look forward to! After weekly appointments for many months, I highly recommend this office to anyone needing hand splinting, therapy, and wonderful care!

I really enjoy my treatment with the group at Washington Hand Therapy. Rozanni and Co. are friendly and knowledgeable and have improved my hand substantially after surgery.

I was referred to Washington Hand Therapy by my PCP, and I'm glad that he did. Right away they were able to diagnose what was wrong with my wrists and hands and get me started working on fixing it. The staff is incredibly friendly and knowledgeable and I've never felt like I'm not in control of my treatment. I've unfortunately had a lot of experience with PTs and MTs over the last decade and this is by far the best one I've been to.

I spent several months with some moderate hand pain. When it didn’t go away on its own, my PCP referred me to Washington Hand Therapy and I began seeing Natalie Allen. She has been great! I really enjoy going to my therapy appointments. I am always impressed by her knowledge and willingness to try new things to find the best solution for my specific hand issue. I had never heard of hand therapy and had no idea what to expect, but she put me at ease right away and made a plan for rehabilitation. Her office manager, Beau, is also wonderful and welcoming. It’s such a pleasure to see the two of them first thing in the morning. I definitely recommend this practice to anyone in search of a hand therapist in Seattle - you’ll be in good hands!

I am generally not impressed with PT but my left hand was so damaged from a fall and broken arm, that it needed help healing. Natalie runs a comprehensive program of therapy that is customized for each patient's needs. She is knowledgeable and flexible and really talented at assessing the needs and applying effective therapy. I trust her competency and I appreciate her professional skills. I highly recommend Washington Hand Therapy when PT is needed.
