REVIEWS OF OPT Physical Therapy and Foot Orthotics IN Rhode Island

I credit Eric and the other therapists and assistants at OPT for getting me back to normal after a serious leg injury. They treated me with great professionalism and concern for my physical and mental wellness as I went through the months of rehabilitation necessary to get me walking again. I would not hesitate to recommend OPT to anyone in need of physical therapy . Thank you Eric, Victor, Christie, Ben, David (and anyone whose names I have forgotten ) for your great care. You are the best!!!

What a wonderful experience with OPT. I have been experiencing foot pain for nearly one year. Have been seen by two Podiatrists and still my pain limited my exercise so much that even walking was uncomfortable. Bert not only validated my symptoms, but he diagnosed my problem. He fitted me for orthotics and the most comfortable supportive sneakers ever! I am starting physical therapy at this office next week and am confident my foot problems will be completely resolved after treatment.

Tim

Im 61 years of age and the experience I had at this place was the worst evert. The so called therapist was 20 minutes late and I was charged for the full 60 minutes. The statements the therapist made such as "your MRI is completely worthless" and "I am sure that your pain has nothing to do with the bulging disk in your back" were absolutely absurd. The atmosphere is more like a high school locker room than a professional business.

Shirley Smyth

Had a bulging disc L4/L5 causing tremendous sciatic pain down my left leg to the ankle. Doctor recommended a course of PT. Had an initial intake then was sent out to the floor. A nice, young male PT came over with a heating pad for a few minutes. Then he showed me, for approximately one minute, an exercise he wanted me to perform. Then he walked away to observe another client and chat with other staffers. I'm not an athletic person, was afraid I wasn't doing it correctly, and that I'd make my back situation worse. He came back over, showed me another exercise, and walked away again. Finally put an ice pad on my back and sent me on my way. I felt worse than ever, and, needless to say, never returned.
