I went to Hartz Physical Therapy in Ephrata and was under the care of Luke and Jaqualyn. They were absolutely fantastic to work with, and they treated everyone with kindness and respect. I was not looking forward to having to work regular therapy into my busy schedule, however, they were always able to accommodate me and my need for evening hours. What I thought would be something I would dread, actually turned into something I enjoyed! Thank you Luke and Jaqualyn for helping me get my active lifestyle back pain free!

I have been a patient of Hartz Physical Therapy for over 1 1/2 years now. Drew, my PT previously in Lititz and now conveniently for myself in Ephrata, has been a godsend for me. With existing Multiple Sclerosis and therapy in various ways, but also with many painful new complications and weakness, Drew never gives up on me. Because of my injury and then through my eventual surgery, there were times that I was frustrated and discouraged. But, I would always feel stronger and more inspired after working with them at PT! Bobby's calm and kind demeanor made me feel assured that I was getting better and has given me the confidence to move forward in my recovery. I was referred to Hartz Physical Therapy in Ephrata after experiencing knee pain from Triathlon. I am happy to say that after working with Bobby and Amy my knee is much improved. They were both incredibly patient and put me at ease despite my apprehension regarding the injury. The entire staff was very clear with how I should perform my exercises, and were encouraging and kind throughout the process. I went to Hartz for help getting my knee back on track (literally). An avid runner and triathlete, I started experiencing some instability in my knee this fall. Tests showed nothing conclusive, so my doctor suggested physical therapy. Hartz came highly recommended, and my experience was confirmation. From a wonderfully pleasant intake phone call and explanation of insurance to graduating with a much stronger knee and a real plan for getting back to up speed with training, the staff was knowledgeable, patient and kind. I felt that I was valued and recognized as a unique patient with unique needs. I began my treatment back in September of 2018 after an injury to my right bicep and rotator cuff. From the moment I walked into the Ephrata office, I was met by Luke Atkins. Together we addressed my concerns and came up with a treatment plan that was most beneficial in the healing process. Luke is extremely thorough in my treatment and always updates me as to the latest practice/exercises that will help me. Fast forward a few months and after a successful rotator cuff surgery, I was given the pleasure to work with another p/t Jacqualyn Booz. She has benefited me greatly and follows my treatment plan to the utmost of my ability!! If I'm having a rough day, she is always there to motivate me to strive to do my best! She is so positive, professional and personable that it makes me want to get up and do my exercises! I am so grateful for the positive experience I've had at this practice, I will recommend it to my family and friends!!! Thank you again!!!!

I am from New Holland, Pa., and have been going to Hartz Physical Therapy for years. When I first started there, I did not stand up straight or walk straight and could not lay flat on my back. I started treatment for a freak accident where C3,4 in my neck was crushed. I was making so much progress; I asked if they could help with my sacroiliac. I inherited a defective Left sacroiliac and it comes out of the joint easily. Of course, over the years, the joint is wearing out and the chiropractor could put it in, but as soon as I walked out of the office, it would come out. One of the top Orthopedic surgeons in the US told me never have surgery on my sacroiliac. Hartz Physical Therapy not only put my sacroiliac in and I could walk out of the office without pain, but they helped me learn to adjust it myself and gave me very simple exercises to do to strengthen the muscles around that joint so it did not come out easily. Most of the time, I walk out of the office with great relief. Because my conditions are chronic, Hartz Physical Therapy continues to support me through the years. I do not know what my life would be without them, but I believe I would most likely be confined to a wheel chair without their kind and intentional care. Today, I stand and walk straight and tall. I am comfortable sleeping on my back and I do not take drugs for pain. I have taken many of my family members and friends to Hartz with excellent and speedy results. They work to determine what may be aggravating the condition and make suggestions to minimize/prevent discomfort. Hartz has a different philosophy from other Physical Therapists and Chiropractors. It is remarkably simple and effective with rapid results. I have been to their Lititz and Ephrata office and know many of their professionals. They are, to an individual, caring, kind and concerned and give excellent care. They are open to patient suggestions and flexible in their care. I highly recommend that you try Hartz Physical Therapy before seeking any other treatment.

I started in Sep for knee issues and it was soon changed to treating me for a stroke. The staff was amazing and personable. I really felt like family. I personally loved the entire Hartz experience, they not only worked with my insurance (which LGH rarely does) but treated my neck pain in a thorough manner. Drew completely relieved my symptoms and then took the time to contact me when I had a flare up (from not doing my exercises) and was out of town. Drew worked through the problem and put me back in proper alignment even when I was thousands of miles away. I always recommend Hartz whenever anybody is looking for a quality PT experience!

My wife, Stacy, started her journey in physical therapy back in 2012 when Hartz first opened the Ephrata office. The owner, Brian, and his assistant, Kelly were there and made my wife's visit pleasant, relaxed, and comforting by their calm and professional manners. Stacy always felt that she was one of the family, not a client. As new therapists took over, that same feeling of warm, inviting atmosphere allowed her to continue her healing process. One of the assistants even made forts for my four year old son during her therapy. In 2015, Stacy hurt her other knee while at work and had to seek therapy through another company per workman's comp orders. Although, they did a nice job it wasn't the same experience as she had at Hartz. Two years later and still dealing with the knee she was able to choose the therapy place of her choice and was ecstatic to return to Hartz. Drew, Laura, Kelsey and Ashley are caring, professional, and genuine. They inquire about your injury and really take the time to listen and offer their advice. Stacy enjoys going to therapy (pain and all) because she has developed a fondness for all the staff. She would and has recommended this facility to anyone with physical therapy needs. Brian, Kelly, Wayne, Wendy, Drew, Laura, Kelsey, and Ashley are remarkable individuals and will set you on a path to better health than when you entered. Luv you guys!

I would recommend Hartz Physical Therapy without question. I had a complicated hip replacement with leg lengthening and was 8 weeks non-weight-bearing. In addition, I sustained a nerve injury. I have been working with Luke and Jacqualyn since starting PT and have been extremely impressed by their knowledge and skill. They helped me get from two crutches to a cane within the first week. Thanks to the Ephrata staff, especially Bobby and Jacqualyn, I was able make a speedy recovery from my diagnosis of a frozen shoulder/adhesive capsulitis.
