I have successfully recovered from both a knee injury and a back problem over the past 10 years using this place. I love the individual attention that the practiioners give. Everyone is very skilled and knowledgeable. Brooke was relentless in helping find the issues with my back pain and helping me heal. She understands the need to get back to an active life ASAP and helps with this.

Following major surgery, I had a lot of numbness, swelling, and limited mobility on my left side. Marie carefully reviewed the details and circumstances surrounding my surgery with me. She devised a graduated treatment plan that quickly resolved the numbness, improved my breathing, and used a variety of exercises to reestablish my mobility. Marie and the entire team at New Heights were supportive, professional, and insightful. New Heights played a pivotal role in my recovery--and I now have the knowledge and the tools that will elevate my recovery to new heights!

Great staff, great practitioners, great owners. I refer most of my patients needing physical therapy here. I like how they continue to learn and grow and think outside of the box.

Donna Gramont and her gym staff laid incredible groundwork for full recovery from from my total reverse shoulder replacement. Unfortunately had to return to another state to finish my physical therapy and none of the three therapists I had subsequently came even close to providing Donna's marvelous manipulation for movement and strengthening work. If I ever need p.t. again, I will return to New Heights if it is physically possible! Thank you all!

New heights has terrific and caring therapists. Loved Liz and the others. However, the office policies are not so accommodating or individualized. I made it very clear going in that I did not want to see a rotating team of therapists. After getting off To a terrific start with Liz and getting into a great Pilates routine, I was Consistently shuffled around to different therapists on different days and different times. Don’t get me wrong, they are all very talented, I’m just not interested in seeing four therapists in order to accommodate office Google Software. In addition, their text “reminder” program doesn’t always work. To be fair, I did miss one appt that my husband scheduled for me and failed to inform me of. For another, I was actually sitting in the parking Lot an hour early because I was texted The wrong time. Be aware that Maria, though courteous, considers rescheduled appointments well within their own twenty-four hour limit the same as a “missed appointment”. It’s a free country, run your business how you see fit. Some of us with very complex medical issues just don’t have the patience to deal with this baloney. FYI...Maria, a rescheduled apt is NOT a missed apt. A beautiful facility, talented therapists if you can deal with the schedule.

It does not matter who you see here EVERY person is a professional and KNOWS WHAT THEY ARE DOING. They are compassionate. They never force you do do something you can't do....unlike Providence Physical Therapy. I hurt myself because the PT forced me to do something I could not do. Then I did not show up for 3 weeks due to my recovering from the injury the Providence PT caused. If you can hook up with someone here at New Heights who does FSM treatments along side your physical therapy, well you get twice the benefit and you heal faster. I have CRPS. When I first saw Jodi I could not wear clothes due to pain from the material. I could not walk farther than my mailbox due to pain. Now, I scratch the area with minimal discomfort and walk to the end of the street and back. My goal is to walk around the block pain-free...I'm on my way thanks to New Heights and their ENTIRE TEAM. THIS PLACE LITERALLY PERFORMS MIRACLES.

I worked with Nick Ing after months of not seeking treatment for hip and low back pain. Nick, who is very knowledgeable, friendly, and patient, was great in guiding me through a healing process using a variety of methods that he adapted as we better understood my body and as my pain decreased. Not only did he help me understand some of the roots of my pain and symptoms and leave me with a variety of exercises I can continue doing myself, he also made me feel like I could be an athlete again moving forward! I'd definitely return to him should the need arise. Further, the entire staff at New Heights was always friendly and helpful--both to me and to each other. Overall it always felt like a positive environment. I would definitely recommend New Heights if you are considering physical therapy.

I worked with Nicholas Ing for 4-5 months rehabbing an ankle injury. As an athlete I really appreciated Nicholas's dedication to getting me back to peak shape. Nicholas was patient and explained exercises thoroughly while pushing me through each session. I am deeply grateful to have been placed in Nicholas's hands while I recovered from my injury and I am sure you would be too.

This place is very nice and clean, the staff is friendly and kind. I came here because after two difficult, very large pregnancies I had diastasis recti, or, abdominal separation. Kelly is absolutely amazing and I am so glad I came to see her. She has helped me so much, she is so smart and knowledgeable and gives me great care. She has taught me so much about the muscles in my body and how to start strengthening my core again. I would highly recommend her!!!!

I recieved excellent care from all of the staff at New Heights from the receptionists to the PT Assistants to the PT specialists. Brooke and Morgan saw me through a significant back injury to full mobility and health. They respected my bodies needs and capabilities, leveraged the help of other specialists including massage and acupuncture, and were delightful to visit with to boot. I am so happy to be back in the air working out as an aerialist and will certainly be looking to New Heights for help with all my future physical care needs!

Great staff all around! Front desk is friendly and helpful. My PT, Nick, was awesome – he was able to quickly diagnose my problem and create a plan for treatment. Would recommend New Heights to anyone in need of some quality PT.

I was a patient of Amy Werner at New Heights for a few months. I am a professional in the dance and fitness industry here in Portland, and I was seeking rehabilitation for my right knee and shoulder. I was looking for a PT who understood that I couldn’t take time off 100%. After the first visit with Amy, I knew I had made the right choice. A former dancer herself, Amy truly understood how to spot the source of the pain in my body. Using medical jargon as well as dance language, she helped me understand how to go back to basics and be patient with myself in the process. We found success from our visits early on and her encouragement never wavered. I am still going through the exercises she taught me and it has helped ease my knee and shoulder pain. Highly recommend Amy!!

I saw Liz for help with pain in my knee. She was professional, fun, and did a fabulous job. It's a year later, and I still have no pain.

Sarah Whitehead

I have been seeing Amy Werner for about 9 years now for different dance related injuries. I followed her when she moved to New Heights because I trust her to help with my recoveries and make sure I am back on the right track with my professional ballet career. I have had nothing but wonderful experiences working with Amy over the years and recommend her to anyone looking for a physical therapist who has nothing but her patients best interests in mind. Thank you Amy!

Had an aggravated problem from running for months that I had completely misunderstood and was frustrated by the lack of progress trying to treat it on my own. The physical therapist I worked with here, Liz, was quick to diagnose that the problem was due to a lack of nerve flexibility, not muscular as I had thought. As she and the support staff continued to give treatments and suggest exercises, those made a huge difference in understanding my body mechanics and how to improve. And things did improve and recover. Very pleased by the friendly staff.

I have been a patient of Gema's at New Heights for many years now. I have ongoing health conditions that make it necessary to repeat treatment over and over again. It is always a pleasure to go to New Heights though. The staff is incredible at providing caring, conscientious service. From the receptionist to the pt assistants to the pt's, a patient always feels valued and important! I have recommended New Heights to many friends and relatives, and I always return there for treatment confident that I will receive the very best care!

I saw Liz for neck pain and headaches and she was great. She explained what and why she was doing, gave me manageable exercises to continue at home, followed up on progress and showed genuine care and interest in my wellbeing. I would highly recommend her.

DEBORAH Kass

The wonderful staff and Physical Therapists have helped myself and two kids through both chronic and acute injuries. They will always be part of our health care team! Gold star!

Shinkei Shinto

My favourite physical therapy place! Wonderful reception, great therapists, and a great facility. Very little parking.

I'm so happy I went to New Heights Physical Therapy! Morgan is an extremely supportive, patient, and optimistic physical therapist. I'm so grateful that I found her as a provider. I was given the time and attention I needed, and I feel so much better equipped to address acute and chronic pain. Ask for Morgan! She's the best!

David Mount

I'm an often-injured runner who's tried many physical therapists over the years. NH is by far the best. The office, the facility, the PT assistants, and the therapists themselves--all are amazing. It shows the power of creating a culture: the place just feels good. They treat you like a person, they listen, and most important, they help. I'm just about over a stubborn nerve pain that I never thought would go away, due to the patience and expertise of my PT . . . actually, I shouldn't say because I want to keep her for myself. Well, okay, it's Morgan Denny, and her PT student Erin. But as I say, I don't think you can go wrong here.

Victoria Lauder

I am a professional ballet dancer with PDX Contemporary Ballet and I have been seeing Amy Werner for the last two years for any issues I have had. She is incredible at pinpointing the cause of each little pain and creating exercises specific to me to support my body and my dancing. She took me on as a patient when doctors told me I had a career ending foot injury and she has kept me dancing ever since. Dancers of Portland, Amy is the physical therapist you want helping you.
