I was referred to Cornerstone Physical Therapy by my surgeon following breast cancer treatment. I had significant neuropathy in both my hands and feet from the chemo medications, as well as general weakness and lack of stamina. In the course of six visits over three weeks, I could see a huge difference in the neuropathy in my hands, which we worked on first. I also had measurable improvements in strength. My insurance has approved some additional visits and we have begun working on my feet-I can’t wait to see the improvement in them as well! The staff at Cornerstone are compassionate and knowledgeable. Not once have I felt like “just another job to do”. Not only do I get physical benefit from my time spent there, I actually enjoy myself!

I spent 7 weeks (3 session per week) of PT at Cornerstone Physical Therapy at The Zangmeister Center. The staff were always helpful and encouraging with my progress. It was one-on-one most all of the sessions and the activities were exactly what I had hoped they would be, helping me to recover from abdominal cancer surgery. We worked on core exercises, balance, stretching, and on major muscles in all body parts. After a couple weeks, I began walking on my own at a local rec center with an indoor track and was soon up to 4-5 miles per walk. Thank you Cornerstone, especially Emily and Andrea at the Zangmeister Center.

It’s for you to come and explore your pace of health upkeep, especially when you have something chronic. I am here for what could be a life long upkeep. You’ll find your encouraging navigators here you want to work with in a long term. Great location as well, in Zangmeister. I must mention Emily, who gives me treatment, she is always learning the latest findings of her profession and adaptive to my physical conditions. So I am confident that the treatment I receive is the most up-to-date in skill and the best possible one I can find. Confidence in the physician plays a major role in the recovery. I am very luck to be with Emily.
