I was referred to Chandler Physical Therapy & Sports Rehab by my primary physician several months ago for non-surgical treatment for a torn rotator cuff. Within a couple of months, 2 days a week of therapy, I had regained full motion and little to any aching in my right arm that for months had affected daily activities and sleeping at night. I mentioned that I was having problems with plantar fasciitis in my left foot and my treatment segued to that issue. Within 6 weeks the pain and aching in my left heel has abated to a non-issue. I’m once again hitting the hiking trails! If you’re in or near Winston-Salem and are experiencing pain, please ask your doctor to refer you to Chandler PT before leaping to the surgical remedies many doctors recommend.

I have found 2 modalities, dry needling and a blood flow restriction machine, to be very effective for my rehab. Dry needling releases trigger points better than any other method I have experienced. The blood flow restriction machine is not for the faint of heart as it requires the "No pain, no gain attitude." However, the BFR also allows for very effective exercise before weight bearing exercise can be well tolerated. It is being used by college athletic programs. I am so glad it is available to the average person at Chandler PT where teamwork is a strength.

I have had the pleasure of working with Chandler Rehab twice. I had a hip replacement in 2018 and a knee replacement in 2019. Chandler Rehab is a phenomenal PT rehab facility that allowed me to return to my normal activities quickly. Everyone on their staff is super friendly and so easy to work with. Jeff Chandler was my physical therapist, but I occasionally worked with someone else when I had to change an appointment. Every therapist and every assistant I worked with were absolutely great! Through the years, I have had several experiences with rehab facilities. Nothing compares to the quality of PT services I received at Chandler Rehab. I give them my highest recommendation! They are the BEST!
