A fierce testament to my yearlong experience with Zion Physical Therapy was the finish line of my 26.2-mile marathon in 2011, in little more than 4 hours. Were it not for Saul’s remarkable treatment, such a feat would have been inconceivable.
Saul was my last and final stop after trying four other therapists to no avail. No one else managed to unravel the complex knot of issues I was facing—from my piercing lower back, through my stiff iliotibial band, down to my aching knees—all of which, as Saul revealed to me, were interrelated.
No one-page review could do him full justice, but I will say this: Saul is an exceptional professional who keenly sized up my problem, devised a detailed and utterly suited regimen for my situation, and worked assiduously not just to cure me of all pain but also to ensure, through proper guidance, that it not return. In other words, Saul’s therapy wasn’t merely palliative—it was fundamental. It dealt with the underlying cause and brought permanent, foundational remedy.
Forget any experience you’ve had with physical therapists so far. Saul is on top of your problem in the most literal, hands-on sense: He’s physically on top of you, or right behind you, or adjacent to you—stretching you; leading and supporting you through each exercise; or performing a range of bodywork therapy (from massage to cupping)—all toward your rehabilitation. He’s genuinely one-on-one.
Treatments are comprehensive and at times Saul seems to bear the lion’s share of exertion rather than the patient. But they are just as enjoyable owing to him, his personable staff and the demonstrable efficacy of his therapy from one session to the next.
I wholeheartedly recommend the journey.
