The staff and environment for physical therapy is great! I have been dealing with shoulder, neck and scapular issues and their hands on experience has helped me reach amazing range of motion and improvement in pain. They have taught me how to exercise at home and make the most of my appointments. They are flexible with their schedule and make you feel comfortable. I am grateful to go through this tough time with such knowledgeable and support people!

I've been to a lot of rehab, but no place has ever been this attentive and supportive. The people who work here are amazing!

I spent about 10+ weeks with NYPT Health and Rehab: I would say they give good care for simple, physical injuries and bad care for anything more complicated. In my case, I went in with symptoms of carpal tunnel and swelling in my hands and was given a set of exercises to help with the carpal tunnel and stretches to loosen some tense muscles. When my symptoms improved about half-way and the exercises were no longer helping, they did the following: 1. Told me I must not be doing the exercises enough 2. Told me to keep coming in, but essentially charged me for hand and shoulder massages and no useful therapies 3. Wrote off my issues as being due to posture and overuse, though I explained that those explanations didn't make sense in my case. Fast forward, I was diagnosed with Lyme Disease and my symptoms suddenly made sense. I don't blame NYPT Health and Rehab for not being able to solve my problem, as it was beyond their scope, but I DO hold them accountable for not listening to and taking my statements seriously (e.g. my posture isn't bad, I don't overuse my wrists, I do perform the exercises you gave me), and for dragging out the length of my time there when they appeared to have already given up.

I tore my rotator cuff and labrum back in September of 2017 and after getting an MRI and seeing an orthopedic surgeon, I was prescribed several weeks of physical therapy. I chose NYPT because their office was so close to mine and their hours are so flexible, but I chose to keep coming because Dr. Rich and his staff are incredibly talented, kind, and hardworking. Every session that I went into their office for my (grueling) 7-month recovery, I was greeted by warm, friendly faces and seen immediately for manual therapy, a chiropractic session, and a challenging workout with one of their trainers. The best part about NYPT is their willingness to work with you to achieve your own personal goals while teaching you a ton about anatomy and proper training. They challenged me to push myself through pain and past my limits, but now that I’m on the other side of it, I’m able to workout harder and better than I ever could have before my injury. Writing this review I’m actually a little sad because even though I’m healthy and mobile again, I’m going to miss seeing the great friends that I made there twice a week. However, I highly recommend scheduling an appointment at NYPT for any sort of physical consultation you need - everyone there will work their hardest to get you feeling great again!

I came here in March with terrible SI pain after a complicated c section. This place is AMAZING and after 3 months I left feeling like a new person! I plan on going back once a month just for a tune up and to see everyone as I miss them!! Everyone who works here is so kind, welcoming and just plain awesome. I HIGHLY recommend.

The personal training that I am receiving from my trainer Giacomo Barbieri is excellent. The trainer stays with me all the time and accompanies me to gradually more difficult exercises. I am 69 and not in good shape, but I feel that I can benefit a lot. Last, but not least is the pleasant and supportive atmosphere of the place, in particular of my trainer, ------- It is now 3 months after my first review. My expectations have been fulfilled! I lost 20 lb. and got stronger. A few days before my 70th birthday I feel like a new man.
