I had issues with my right foot for a year from on and off tendinitis. I went to Johnny, who was recommended by a running shoe store,. He helped work with me to solve my tendinitis and strengthen my foot and leg. After 5 months of working with Johnny, who provided great one on one PT support, I was able to run a half-marathon and PR. I would highly recommend Johnny to anyone!

If you are seeking a highly qualified therapist with many years of experience, Johnny is your guy. Johnny is active, has diverse sports interests so really knows how to treat athletes of weekend warriors that get those silly injuries.

John provides a high quality care with considerations to your specific needs. He treated my knee after a meniscus surgery which allowed for a quick recovery and made it possible to get back to sports in a speedy manner.

I've been having shoulder issues for months from swimming and also swinging a golf club. I found John Lathrop Physical Therapy as a referral and I'm extremely happy that I did. The strength and motion exercises that he's been having me do have been perfect. His sessions are also always one on one time which you don't always get. His friendly smile and conversation have also been very personable which you don't always get at a PT office which I really appreciated. Thanks Johnny.

I've been struggling with knee pain for several years now, and have gone to two other physical therapists without any results. After becoming frustrated with monotonously being put on machines, I asked my doctor to refer me to someone who prefers more one-on-one treatment, and this is how I met Johnny. Finally, someone knew what they were doing; he gave me a thorough assessment, and explained to me what was going on in my body to be causing all my knee pain. After two eeks I saw more results than I did at the other places. I'm thankful to finally be running again!

I've played competitive soccer my entire life and started competing in half marathons over the past few years. I've been lucky enough to never sustain a serious injury until now. I found out I had a labrum tear in my hip and my orthopedic doctor highly recommended Johnny to help get me back to my training. At first the pain was so severe I couldn't even squat or sit, let alone run. Johnny's treatments were all hands-on and it really helped me to get back the strength and motion in my hip while progressively returning to my training. All in all, it was a great experience with a great therapist!

I saw my doctor for recurrent Achilles tendonitis and he prescribed physical therapy with Johnny. In about 2.5 months I went from severe pain when walking and sometimes even when sitting still, to running again with no pain. Johnny was able to spot the underlying problems (muscle stiffness, limited ankle range of motion) that had led to the tendonitis in the first place and to help me address them. I also just plain enjoyed my sessions; Johnny is easygoing, chatty and fun to talk to.

Dan Schnur

Johnny helped me strengthen my left knee tendon with focused therapy and precise exercises that worked to my benefit. His keen knowledge and understanding of the trade makes him an excellent choice for a PT. He's also a great communicator and a world traveler so there are also great conversations to be had as well.
