I have been a patient of ERGO PT on 3 different occasions since 2010. Each time the staff has shown incredible expertise, concern, and professionalism. The space, which has expanded, is and has always been clean and inviting. Ron Kassab, owner and DPT makes sure that from the minute you enter the office, front desk staff to assistants are tuned -in to the needs of the patients. They are friendly, kind, always with a smile. As a sign language interpreter my hands are my tools. This last go-around of PT provided me with the healing needed. I highly recommend ERGO PT.

I just finished my PT program at Ergo. Thanks to the friendly and professional team effort of Jonathan, Tobias, Sheena and the rest of the staff who took great care of me while I was there. They showed me how to strengthen my left knee after my surgery, targeting the right areas, and now I am on my way getting back in the game. They are always on time and on schedule. I have had a wonderful and effective professional experience at Ergo Physical Therapy. The physical trainers and staff, especially Jonathan and Tobias, provided me with expert professional service customized to help me manage my back pain. The solutions were exclusively exercise-based. This process was most fitting to help me maintain the conditions that would avoid the use of drugs to manage my back pain. Also, this process was most fitting for someone with the temperament, such as myself, to avoid the use of drugs in the management of pain when alternative solutions exist. I would highly recommend this center to anyone who shares my feelings.

Made an appointment as recommended by my doctor, showed up early, got all my paper work done, paid my co-pay. Approximately 1hr 15 mins. from time of arrival. When I asked how long the female at the desk stated they will see you in a few minutes, 45 min. after my appointment time you're telling me to wait till they decided. They may be good but on a first visit for a new client this kind of treatment should not be how they're welcomed. Got my refund and my script and went elsewhere.

I needed Physical Therapy after a devastating accident. Post surgery I looked around and based on the positive reviews on this site, I called and scheduled for an appointment. When I arrived, they informed me that they did not accept no-fault insurance (even though their website clearly stated that they accepted it.) And since I have an open claim, they also did not accept my commercial insurance likely because they were afraid that they wont get paid (my insurance was also accepted, according to their website). They provided me no other alternative, refused to treat me and shooed me away from their office. Ergo, please update your website routinely so what happened to me doesnt happen to future patients where they travel all the way to your office just to get turned away. Money has become such a huge barrier to care that facilities become empathetic to people who need treatment. We can be better than that.

I highly recommend Ergo Physical Therapy. The staff is very knowledgeable and professional. The facility is clean and the equipment and machines are in great condition. I had the pleasure of working with Jonathan,DPT for exercise injury to both my shoulders. The program and hands on therapy he set for me was right on point as well as his discharge planning. He explained in detail why we were doing certain exercises and set attainable goals for me. More importantly, the follow up after care is just another example of the great care and professionalism they have for their patients.

The most incredible staff - always listening to your symptoms, adjusting accordingly, attentive, constantly supervising to make sure you don't injure yourself. Knowledgeable staff. Best space - always clean, well stocked, with a wide range of equipment to treat all body parts. Spacious and comfortable. Private rooms for evaluations and general area for therapy. Staff speaks English & Spanish. Front desk reception always answer the phone and accomodate various schedules. I come here for severe plantar fasciitis and brought my mom for knee problems.

Three months ago I had a hip replacement operation, after home therapy I looked for a physical therapy rehab facility in my area. I visited four and happily decided on ERGO. The best decision I could have made. The owner Ron Kassab is the most professional & compassionate physical therapist you could work with. He goes through the treatment & exercises set up for each individual clearly & listens to your questions & concerns. I looked forward to my therapy sessions as I always left there feeling better than when I came in. His staff are the most congenial, helpful & professional that you could ask for. I started at Ergo due to an ankle injury which left me unable to walk without pain. At my first visit, I was impressed with the courtesy and professionalism shown by the entire staff. Unfortunately, I have had several surgeries and injuries and needed more PT than I would have liked. But none compare to Ergo. If I should ever need another course of treatment, this will be my first choice. Thank you ERGO!

I found Ergo PT around 12 years ago after unsuccessful treatment for a problem knee at approximately 3 other PT practices. Ron and the staff at Ergo PT are amazingly different - they provided the right hands-on treatment, explained the exercises and why/how those particular exercises/treatments were being used, the front desk is always courteous and the PT assistants always lend a hand. They take their time to work with you through everything. I have had recurrences with my knees and back issues for which I have returned to Ergo PT over the years. Most recently, both Ron and David treated me for my lower back. Once again - successful treatment! Their knowledge and therapy works! Thank you to Ron and everyone at Ergo! I highly recommend this practice.

This is by far, the best physical therapy center in Queens! All the staff (front desk, physical therapists) are extremely helpful and attentive to detail. I've been working with John, for the past few months, to rehabilitate my knee after going through an ACL surgery. He is very knowledgeable and always addresses all your concerns BEFORE giving you specific workouts. This is an essential part of recovery that many people tend to miss, because injuries cause trauma physically and mentally. So if you want a physical/mental therapist, John is the guy!

I can't talk highly enough about Ergo PT! I was recommended to them from my ortho's office after my local PT clinic did not take my insurance. This turned out to be a blessing in disguise as the owner, Ron (a Master PT himself), has an awesome team of PTs that work for & with him. I LOVE their model which is you are assigned a PT, but when they take a well deserved vacation you get to see Ron. It is the best of both worlds as you have PTs w/ a number of years of experience working w/ you & you also get sessions w/ the owner. I never saw the space when it was smaller, but the square footage, equipment variety, & more are great. The PTAs deserve a shout out, too, as they are well trained, courteous, & thorough. I would highly recommend Ergo PT to anyone!

In July 2018, after receiving numerous recommendations from Forest Hills neighbors, I ventured to Ergo PT and was evaluated by the owner, Ron Kassab, DPT. After a thorough and professional examination, Ron developed an exercise program which provided me with home exercises as well.. I returned in January 2019 after a flare up of my knee symptoms. David Schroeder, DPT was assigned to my therapy regimen. David provided exercises and therapeutic massage of my knees He also described a home exercise regimen, which I continue to follow and am experiencing improvement in my range of motion and reduction of pain. David is very articulate in explaining how to perform the exercises and was very professional in his relationship with myself. All staff at Ergo PT are efficient, personable, pleasant, and professional. I would highly recommend Ergo Physical Therapy.

I was referred by a friend and glad I took his advise to come. My Physical Therapist was Jonathan. He was a pleasure to work with not only because of his knowledge but because he was always patient and attentive no matter how busy he got. I have been going to Ergo for a rehab from a bad ankle injury that required a surgery. It is one of the very few physical therapy places in Queens that is recommended by the Hospital for Special Surgery. I have been doing physical therapy for only 4 weeks, and already see so much progress in my recovery. Ron and his team are great, very knowledgeable and thorough with their work. They develop a treatment plan for your specific needs and constantly check on you during each therapy session. The facility itself is well equipped with various machines, and is modern and clean. I feel that I am on the right track with my recovery thanks to Ergo. I would recommend Ron and his team to anyone!

The aides are super friendly and helpful, and my therapist, Michelle, has been a major help in my recovery. The staff is so attentive and I'm able to workout immediately. I suffered in excruciating pain radiating down my left leg and lower back from sciatica. Once I had an MRI and my doctor diagnosed me with a herniated disk in my lower spine, I was referred for physical therapy as an option to try before surgery. THANK GOODNESS I FOUND ERGO PHYSICAL THERAPY. I began therapy twice a week and had 16 sessions. I was barely able to lift my leg when I began, and simple tasks as taking a shower, getting dressed, driving, etc. were painful and almost impossible to perform on a daily basis until I began therapy. However, thanks to Ergo and especially my therapist, David Schroeder, I am beyond ecstatic to report that I am 100% back to normal. David took his time and patience to figure out exactly which exercises we were going to try. When something wasn't working, we tried something else. David is patient, kind and knowledgeable. The office is clean. All the staff is friendly and welcoming. I continue to do the exercises that David taught me every day and slowly but surely, I have been pain free since April. I never thought I would be well again. Thank you to David and Ergo Physical Therapy. Words cannot describe how grateful and thankful I am to you.

I had an excellent experience here. I worked mostly with Ron, the owner, as my primary therapist and less with Luis. I liked both. Sheena, an assistant, was also very helpful. Overall, the place is big and clean and the attitude is upbeat and positive. People just seemed to be getting better. I certainly did. I learned a lot from the staff. I continued at home the work I started there. I feel better now than before I was injured. I would certainly go back if I need PT.

Ergo PT has been the best Pt I have ever participated in . David Schroeder was my PT from start to finish. He paid attention to what I was experiencing, and carefully diagnosed the problem. What he said made alot of sense, and he customized a program for me . He listened to what I felt was most helpful, and adjusted my program accordingly. In a nutshell: they brought me back to life!!! And they did so in four(!) separate occasions. You might think I’m some-kind of a pro-athlete or wanna-be. Sadly... I’m not, but in the past 7-10 years I’ve been under Ergo PT care for dislocated shoulder, broken ankle, after a knee orthoscopy. This time I came after a fall injury with a twisted back and really painful knee. On my earlier visits I worked with Ron, the owner. As one who works in healthcare, I can tell you the difference between those who are “ok” or “good enough” and those who are excellent and know what they’re doing. This team, especially Ron and Jon, have a great eye to where the problem stems from, beyond the x-ray/MRI reports. This time it was with Jon. He is a magician at work! My back and knee hurt so much I couldn’t breath, literally. My back shifted to the right. Within one session there was a significant improvement. If you follow his instructions you will feel the improvement too. On top of being a great physical therapist, a real pro, he is human, what we call a “mentch”: Kind, patient, he listens, cares, gives right advice and always with a smile. Usually, I don’t care much for the “nice” healthcare professionals, as long as they know their job. But when you work hands-on with ppl, it’s important. Ron has this gift and he has the gift of hiring the right ppl. Jon is a proof of that. The whole team, from the front desk, are welcoming, pleasant and professional :Martha, Sandy - always with a smile, always helping and explaining questions you might have regarding your insurance. The other beauty of this group is that they REALY work as a team. Bottom line: if you need physical therapy, search no more! It was debilitating to injure my back and knee. Jon literally brought me back to life! Thank you Jon, Ron, Brian, Rebecca, Ebony, Sandy and Martha. I hope I won’t need you again but if I do, no doubt, you’re my only choice.

The staff members are super helpful, nice and the facility is very neat. I arrived at Ergo for treatment of severe neck pain which apparently was due to my poor posture while sitting for prolonged hours at my workstation. Not only were my symptoms gone after 4 weeks of treatment, but I was educated to be aware of my posture and Ron Kassab, my therapist, performed an Ergonomic workstation assessment to correct what he believed was the reason for my symptoms. I am now pain free sitting at my workstation throughout my workday I even felt confident enough to advise my co-workers on proper posture. The entire staff is pleasant, polite, attentive and makes you feel comfortable from the moment you walk in. The premises are clean and aesthetically pleasing. I would highly recommend Ergo to anyone in need of physical therapy.
