Absolutely awesome! I have been a professional athlete and been to many physical therapists. Noel stands apart for his creative solutions and knowing what to do to cure you in a healthy way. I had both an achilles and hamstring issue, and after a month was totally cured and have remained so to this day. You'll be pleased to see Noel!

A really great physiotherapist and great experience, He came well recommended and lived up to it and more. I'm now pain free and back exercising after only a handful of sessions over the summer. I have regained the ability and confidence to move like a normal person! He is very professional, but with a lovely calm and relaxed bedside manner so you feel at ease. He also deals with Olympic level athletes in a variety of disciplines so he knows his stuff! He was open to all and any questions I had and always took the time to explain in detail every necessary aspect of the issue. More importantly what was really great was the process for fixing the pain - I got some simple exercises to complete, but with a full explanation of how they were relevant to my issues and how they were going to solve the problem. I had severe knee pain in both knees that I developed 4 yrs ago from attempting to do home HIIT training that ended really badly very quickly for me. To the point I couldn't walk up and down stairs or sit down without screaming :( I had learnt to live with the pain but had stopped exercising as within any short amount of time it would flare up worse pain. Noel did an assessment of my movements and immediately identified the issues with my body - collapsing knees and my quads overcompensating and doing all the work. I had sessions with him over the course of 6 weeks and almost couldn't believe the massive change it's made to me. I'm no longer in pain and have been able to take up exercise again without flaring up any issues! Thank you Noel!

There is no one like Noel. He is the absolute best physiotherapist I've been to. I've had various mobility issues and pain over the past 20 years and he is the only Physio that understands how everything is connected and doesn't just offer up temporary relief. He is remarkably thorough and completely dedicated to his profession.

I highly recommend them. Noel Lozares did an incredible job of treating my back. He was very knowledgeable, and took the time to carefully explain the mechanics of my injury, describe exactly what each exercise was targeted to achieve, and patiently answer my many questions. He was always motivating and upbeat, and I really appreciated his enthusiasm, honesty, professionalism and positive attitude. With Noel, I made rapid progress both physically and mentally in terms of how I managed my back pain. I have now recovered my full range of motion and am able to return to my normal activities. More importantly, thanks to Noel, I have the knowledge and tools I need to keep strengthening my back for the rest of my life. The administrative staff are also really helpful, friendly and competent. In short this is the best overall experience I've had with physical therapy to date.

After ACL repair in May 2014, I just finished my 2015 ski season with 140,000 of vert! I could not have done it w/o Noel. His experience w/pro athletes was very inspiring. His mellow demeanor made it enjoyable to do the work. He devised a scientific, pragmatic and rigorous program to get me back in the saddle, one hop jump at a time. Noel acted as my partner in getting strong throughout the process. Can't recommend Brooklyn Physio more highly.

I came to see Noel due to knee pain that I had been trying to ignore for fear that I would be told to stop running. Thankfully Noel's goal was the exact opposite- to get me running with corrections to my form so that not only would I not experience pain, but run faster with less effort. In just a few sessions Noel identified the problem, educated me regarding the cause, and implemented a plan that has resulted in a complete end to the knee pain. The corrections he made have also protected me from the shin splints that had previously been plaguing me after each hard run/race. Even though he works with professional athletes and Olympians, he never made me feel that my goals were any less important. Thanks so much for your complete and thorough care!

I'm so glad that I found Brooklyn Physiotherapy to treat my ankle. I had a sprained ankle that lasted for months and finally made a decision to get it treated. The only regret I have now is that I didn't meet Noel sooner to get my ankles treated. Noel took a very wholistic approach in treating my ankle. While most of the physical therapists only concentrate on the problem area, Noel looked into the root of the issue and also thought about future prevention. He looked at my posture, my walking habits on top of my sprained ankle. The exercise he taught helped me walk properly without straining my bad ankle, strengthening my core and lower body. The exercises along with his massages got my ankle back in shape just in a few weeks. Another benefit of learning how to walk properly was getting rid of the back pain I used to have when I walk more than 5 miles. What ever treatment you need, I strongly recommend Brooklyn Physiotherapy, especially if you are looking for long-term benefits as well as immediate treatment.

Noel is an AMAZING physio. I came in with plantar fasciitis (probably developed it while trying to shift to a mid-foot strike while doing speed work during preparation for a half marathon). My runner friends told me I would have to stop running, wear a crazy boot to bed, etc. But Noel did an excellent evaluation, figured out that my case was not terrible and put me on a plan to get me back on the road. Since he is a runner, he totally understands how we think and how much we want to get back to running as soon as possible. But he was honest with me and what I could expect. Was it painful? Sure was! But through various stretching exercises, manual releases and strengthening routines, I am happy to report that I am back to running 7+ miles and feel confident I will rock my half marathon in October. Best PT ever.

I would absolutely recommend Noel as a physical therapist. I hurt my shoulder a while back and after ignoring it for a couple years, finally decided to do something about it. It just took a couple of sessions with Noel, between stretching and strengthening exercises, to get back to 100% normal. Noel knew exactly what the problem was even though I could only vaguely describe the pain. He took the time to explain what was going on and gave me exercises to do at home. I never felt rushed and never had to wait - very professional.

Noel got me through my fear of injury before running a marathon. Unlike my past PT, he helped me understand the root of my pain/discomfort instead of just putting a band-aid on my symptoms. As a fellow runner, he understands how it can affect the body physically (and the nerves/fear you feel when you have a pending injury before a marathon!). He was there with guidance and support and I ended up running the marathon with no pain at all (well, until mile 20, which is to be expected). He proved that he really cares about his patients and gives quality care.
