Had an initial consultation with Dalton Gilligan which was great. Dr Gilligan very clearly explained what was causing my issues and what could be done to fix them. Friendly office and a very helpful visit.

This is the worst run place in all of Manhattan please go somewhere else. They are dishonest and unethical. DO NOT GO TO THIS PLACE !!!!

I deeply regretted I went to Bodhizone at 23rd street. First of all, they run the business dishonestly. 2018 December, I exhausted my chiropractor visit but Bodhizone told me they will work with my insurance company to get a few more sections so I went ahead booking chiropractor. On the day of visit, front desk told me I did not have chiropractor appointment. I was confused so I booked another one. I also asked specific time for each doctors but front desk just assured me I will see all three doctors. Again, on the day of visit, I was told I was not booked for chiropractor. I was screaming out "again" to the front desk so she said she doesn't know if chiropractor will have time to see me blah blah. Finally chiropractor Dr. Ly came to my room and gave me 10 minutes adjustment. It is my first time to see a chiropractor who only spent that little time. if you don't want to see me for whatever reason, I can go somewhere else. I think it's to do with the insurance payment because after new year insurance restarts, Dr. Ly is so willing to see me all the time. However, he still spent very little time without fully evaluation. I went to chiropractor regularly in another place. I know how it’s supposed to be. After a few more trials, I told front desk not to book chiropractor. Ironically, Dr. Ly still show up in my room and I have to tell him I do not want chiropractor today. He and Bodhizone don't care about patients. Dr. Dalton is my PT. He is overbooked. My insurance pays PT for close to $500 but he spent less than 30 minutes with me. A lot of time it's the assistant watching me exercise. December 2018, I injured my hamstring and my calf was really tight. Dr. Deo said she will tell Dr. Dalton to give me some relief. Dr. Dalton came in first let me do some quad sets and then foam roller single leg deadlifts!!!! The next day my legs were swollen and hurt so much. I had to rest on the bed for two days. January 2019, my hamstring still bothered me so I went to orthopedic who told me I am supposed to rest, not exercise. So I told Dr. Dalton that my hamstring is injured and tight, hoping he could help me. He made me to do a stretch and said the fact that I was able to stretch like that means my hamstring is not tight. I felt tight because of weakness. I need to get stronger. I insisted my point and he then ordered some ice afterwards. Now it's April, I am still dealing with the hamstring injury with my new PT. I am very flexible and Everyone is different. He doesn't know it as a physical therapist. He could spend a little time palpitating my hamstring but he did not, because he started treating another patient already. I went there once a week for almost three months and I can't still walk well. Dr. Dalton never re-evaluated me. I asked him to see me walk and stand. He can find nothing. My new PT said my left hamstring is so badly injured and my abductor is tight. Both are pulling my lower back and buttock, causing imbalance of my whole body. I have been with my new PT for two and half weeks now and I can walk much better. Dr. Deo, the physician there, who usually massages my back before PT. I told her my calf is really tight and also inner side of my knee, then she figured out I injured my hamstring. I asked her what I can do. She said "nothing" and she will talk to PT to give me some relief and walked out. I believed in them because they are professional or supposed to be. Wrong! What I should do is RICE if injury is new. how about orthopedic evaluation and MRI. ART therapy or stretch after pain subsides? She is absolutely incompetent. My current PT is an one in one manual therapist and works on me for an hour for the same $500 insurance payment. Bodhizone ripped me off. The way Bodhizone runs business is dangerous for patients. They have no ability to solve complicated issues as opposed to they claimed on the website and have no desires to help their patients regain health. I would give negative star if I could. I tried Pilates once and acupuncture a couple times. Horrible experiences. Avoid Bodhizone.

The best PT place I know, and I've been to many (before finding Bodhizone.) Great people. Dr. Scott is extremely knowledgeable and passionate about his work. No wonder he was invited to help U.S. athletes during 3 olympic games.

Gabi Gilling

Overall the place was OK. The treatment i received seemed rushed and the doctor left without saying goodbye. I then got billed over $200 for my private appointment and they also charged me via my insurance. Im not sure whether that was on purpose or not

I recently came to Bodhizone when I bulged a disc in my back. When I walked in the door I could barely stand up straight and could shuffle at an extremely slow pace in a lot of pain and could not work. The team at Bodhizone was caring, fit my multiple appointment into their schedule, and dealt with my acute pain and immobility. Within a week I was back at work and making a recovery. It has been a month and I have made progress each week and am almost back to full back function. Everyone in the office has been extremely caring, nice, and helpful in the process. I highly recommend Bodhizone 23rd to anyone who has p/t needs!

Insanely friendly and welcoming staff. Dr. Laksman is patient, empathetic, and incredibly helpful. Having never played sports in my life, the thought of physical therapy after my biking accident was especially daunting. Dr. Laksman could tell I was a bit anxious and was sure to make me feel as comfortable as possible on my first day - highly recommended!!!

Bodhizone is amazing. I have been a patient for two months now and everyone I have worked with has been more than helpful. Olivia who works the front desk has been more than helpful to me in every way possible with scheduling, calling to follow up and to make sure I am having an overall good experience. I went to Bodhizone to see Dalton Gilligan for PT for a shoulder injury that happened about 4 years ago. I've seen doctors and have been to another PT but know one has been able to help. Due to the problem not being fixed it created an even bigger issue on my back behind my shoulder blade. Dalton accessed me and has been working at this issue since I started two months ago. He also suggested to do acupuncture and chiro which is what I have been doing since my second week there and is just another great thing about Bodhizone. It offers other wellness doctors that work right in the same office. Dalton, PT, Dr. Yang, acupuncturist and Dr.Ly for chiro have been working as a team to help me with the issue I am having and for the first time we are making progress on this injury. I see all three doctors at the same visit making things convenient. Everyone in the office has been kind and helpful. I give Bodhizone a 5 star and suggest that anyone with any bodily issues that are trying to avoid medication or surgery to try Bodhizone first. They can help you with what you need and point you in the right direction.

I'm so sincerely glad I found this place. I've been coming to Bodhizone for the past few months to rehab a labral tear. I started PT with Krina pre surgery and built up the strength I needed to go into surgery in top shape. Post surgery I've been working with Krina and Kevin to rebuild range of motion and strength and, quite frankly, they're a team of miracle workers. Whenever I have weird pain, I get soft tissue work and it goes away. I'm getting stronger, learning how to walk the RIGHT way and my surgeon today said he's very pleased at my gains since I first saw him. Come here, work with this staff and you will not regret it. And Anlly is awesome and never makes me feel bad when I'm late for an appointment ;)

Yolanda Williams

CHRISTINE CLOTSOS

Would highly recommend!!!! Bodhizone has a wonderful staff that makes you feel welcome and seems to care deeply for their clients. Everyone is helpful, from the front desk to the personal trainers, and always has time to answer any questions or concerns I may have. Each trainer walked me through the workouts until I was able to do them correctly and always had a positive attitude that helped make the sessions as enjoyable as possible. My recovery from surgery has been quick with minimal pain or stress thanks to the attention Ive recieved at Bodhizone and would recommend them to a friend who needs physical therapy or is just looking fot additional guidance and motivation to get in shape.

I'm a client for 8 years. The professionalism from the senior staff, the therapists and the warmth of the reception desk is unparalleled. I look forward to working with the team and appreciate their devotion to helping me heal.
