I can't say enough about how grateful I am for all of the physical therapists and staff at Peak motion! They were all very kind caring compassionate and skilled, and I am almost nearly completely healed. They were awesome! I highly recommend Peak motion!

This is by far the BEST PT Facility in the NM! Super professional service from the day I walked in! Beautiful facility, friendly and helpful staff, and a nice environment. My entire family has been to Peak motion at one time or another and we have always had top notch service. The owner is a great guy that always stops by to see how things are going. Their equipment is state of the art and they really care about the patients' recovery. They even go the extra mile to help with all of the confusing insurance paperwork. It is a busy place but the personal service makes you feel like you are their only client. You will not find a better PT facility than Peak Motion!

I went to Peak for broken shoulders about six months apart. My first PT experience. I loved it at the beginning. Loved it. Great staff. Great facility. In July I had total knee replacement, and started PT at a different facility which is closer to my house and was highly recommended by a friend. Wow. What a difference. I was assigned two therapists who work with me. My information is entered on the computer immediately so they both know what's next. While I think the actual pt itself isn't that different, there are several things that I realized were bothering me at Peak: --Very loud staff. Yelling across the room. --I didn't like how I was shuffled from here to there. --Currently, I'm never left alone to do the exercises. The therapist stays with me and corrects my movements if I get off track. --Timers going off all the time as we did our exercises. Beep. Beep. Beep. --Music was often too loud. Not for the age of people who were there every time I was. --Because info is entered into the computer immediately, each time I go my therapist has reviewed the notes, asks me specific questions about our last session, and is ready to begin. So. That's my story. I didn't know I wasn't thrilled at Peak until I went somewhere else.

First called to setup appointment somehow got lost in the mix. Never received a follow up call to schedule Called back the following week and got scheduled in. Very impressed on their facility and in person professionalism Much better than Concentra.

The staff is knowledgeable and helpful. The facility is clean. Tara is seriously amazing at pelvic floor rehab! However, the office is not accommodating or understanding of those of us who aren’t able to come in every week. I ended my therapy there, because they couldn’t or wouldn’t give me a plan I could work mainly from home. While I understand I would get better results coming in more often, I am not able to. I am a mom, and I work only 2 days a week, because those are the days I have childcare. I can’t afford to pay for a sitter and I can’t afford not to work. Peak Motion was not understanding of my situation, and I know I can’t be the only one. I hope that they might be more interested in helping everybody and not just those who can come in every week.

Beware they will bill you for services well over a year after your last date of service! We have not had any communication from them in over a year. Paid the last statement balance and now 14 months later we received a bill asking for more money.

This is my second time I have attended Physical Therapy at Peak Motion. The first was about 5 years ago for a knee scope and this time it is for bilateral knee replacement. The owner, staff and all therapist are flat out amazing. With their guidance, knowledge and commitment to my success I am now doing things I haven't done in over 10 years. I have been to other Therapy clinics and can tell you first hand they do not compare to Peak Motion. Not once have I ever felt like they were only in it for the money in fact my experience has been totally the opposite. This is a full service operation with massage therapist, top of the line equipment, icing, stem treatment and much more. I am now 4 months out from total knee replacement in both my knees and have snowboarded, ran, jumped, mountain biked and have total confidence to do other activities that I haven't been able to do for years. None of this would have been possible if it were not for an owner committed to the patient's total recovery. I can not say thank you enough and would not hesitate to refer my friends and family!!!

I've now been a patient at Peak Motion for 2.5 months. They really are great at what they do. I'm in there for over 1.5 hours per visit and it's like I have 3 personal trainers the entire time. Most Importantly, they are focused on my knee 100% and it shows.

If you are looking for a place to do your Physical Therapy, no bother to look any further. Peak Motion physical therapy is the place to go in Albuquerque. There is not a better clinic in the city, I have been to others and once you go to the best why waste your time with the others. I was a patient there the first time in 2010 for a torn meniscus on my right knee, my doctor sent me to the physical therapist at Presbyterian which was just bad, so I did some research and visited a couple of other clinics. When I went to peak motion, I knew I was at the right place. The owner Mr Phil Baca was very professional and showed great concern for my well being, as did his entire staff. In 2014 I had to return to physical therapy for an Achilles tendon tear and knew exactly where I wanted to go, and as with the first time again I had very positive results. I again had to have physical therapy for a distal biceps tendon repair in 2015-16, since my first two experiences the clinic had moved to an ultra modern, beautiful building. The new facility has top of the line equipment, set up in an easy, open, clean, well-lit environment, with enough room to do your exercises. I can’t say enough for the staff, what a great group of people who really have one goal, their customers well being. I have had the pleasure in dealing with many of the great employees from the owner Phil Baca who take pride in the faculty and reputation he has built over the years, my current physical therapist Mr Lee hunter has been awesome, I’ve also been lucky enough to have been helped by Kevin , Shyla, Aimie, Chris and Travis who have all been very professional, positive and very informative. The massage therapist Dora is great at what she does. She makes the hurt go away with her great massage. As for my insurance issues that we all have to deal with the office staff was great and took care of all the paperwork and made it easy for me. They also set up your all your appointments before you leave so you don’t have to worry about calling all the time. Peak Motion has helped me, my family and many of my friends get back to normal, actually get back to BETTER! If your still looking for a physical therapy clinic stop now and call Peak Motion you won’t be sorry.

This was my first experience with physical therapy and this place is awesome! I look forward to going, they have a great and efficient system and all the trainers are so nice and helpful.

The PT and PT Techs are great. This review is a one star review because the owner of Peak Motion treated me with disrespect and showed a true lack of sensitivity for his patients. The owner brought me to tears on the PT floor because of a policy that was never discussed or disclosed to me. 5 days before my visit I slipped and caught myself on my hand. I was chatting with a PT Tech about this and when the owner heard, he interrupted me and asked me to leave. I had just gotten to the facility for the day, I had just paid my $100 deductible, and I was in pain (not from the slip but from my long term back issues). After becoming very visibly upset, the PT Tech was gracious enough to sit down with me, talk through things, and even provide me some light treatment so I didn’t have to leave in pain. The PT Tech also let me know what steps I would need to take before my next visit. Unfortunately, I took those steps, just to find out they already cancelled my next appointment without notifying me. I am beyond frustrated. I’ve gave the PT Tech two pieces of feedback that I hope the owner takes to heart. 1. Please disclose and company policies to your patients that might effect us. 2. Please work on your communication, your response to me lacked and tact or sympathy - you should have sat down with me, discussed what happened when I slipped (you still don’t actually know), disclosed your policy, and then share what treatments we could do today and the next steps I needed to take. The owner treated me like he was a bouncer - literally kicking me out of the facility. I can’t even fathom where his professionalism was for the day but he certainly had none.

Great staff

I've been going to Peak Motion for several weeks now, what a wonderful facility. The entire staff (from the receptionists, to the therapists, to the owner) is very courteous and knowledgeable. During several of my sessions the owner has come over to check with the therapist and me and see how my therapy is coming along. Peak Motion is always busy, but the staff goes above and beyond to stay on top of things, and each of my sessions has started at the time I was scheduled, as a working professional I really appreciate that. I would highly recommend Peak Motion to anyone who is serious about getting the most out of their physical therapy!

I feel incredibly blessed to be treated at Peak Motion. This clinic is advanced and each therapy session is very thorough. I have had knee pain for a year and it has completely derailed my life. I am so grateful for the care I have been given. The therapists are smart, empathetic, and kind. Every session is planned in advance and I am always attended to. The staff works as a team and it allows for a great flow. Special shout out to Wanli for evaluating me and jumping right into a treatment plan, and Cameron for his manual therapy and in-depth knowledge. I can't imagine a better physical therapy clinic. Thank you all so much!

Difficult to say what there is to like about this place. 19 year old secretaries call seniors by their first name (very unprofessional) but then we are speaking of a different generation of young people. Time is about as important as a stop sign, merely a suggestion, who stops at stop signs? after filling out only 7 full pages of medical documents I told the young lady (kid) up front that I had only one request, three girls looked at me waiting to see what I wanted to request. My time is as important as yours, therefore I request you see me within 5 minutes of my appointment. The next week came, I showed up and checked in ten minutes early (continued calling me by my first name). 5 minutes after my appointment time came, I got up to leave but was going to make one more appointment for next week. 2 minutes later the therapist said I'm right here, I said, "you're late and I'm gone". I gave ample warning the week before, apparently they didn't believe me. retuning to my vehicle "Phillip-I assume the owner" came running out to my truck, lower lip quivering and I rolled my window down. he wasn't quite sure how to start this conversation, so I did. I reminded him this was a business and no one in there knows me well enough to call me by my first name. I pointed my finger at him at told him how to read a clock. Waited for a month before I wrote this review

My wife is currently going to Peak and she has nothing but good things to say about her physical therapy, the staff, & her care plan..Which makes me feel comfortable & at ease in this busy lifestyle we live

If you have a typical injury (i.e., broken leg, etc), this might be a good place for you. If, like me, you're trying to recover from a chronic illness, please stay away. My main physical therapist there has a varied background, which led me to believe that he would be a good choice for figuring out how to help with my rehabilitation. He admitted that he'd never treated anyone with my condition but seemed to have an interest in figuring it out. After the initial consultation, he put together a generic circuit training program which was administered by a random bunch of techs, most of whom had no idea why I was there. After 3-1/2 weeks there, one of the techs asked me if I was there for my leg or my back (no clue that I was there for post-Cushing's rehab). Unfortunately, since my chronic illness (which I had for almost two decades) had broken down many of my muscles, I ended up aggravating my torn rotator cuff and creating a new injury on the other side of my back. When I told the techs that I'd hurt myself doing one of their prescribed exercises, they simply started me on another exercise without even checking to figure out what had gone wrong. I left in tears, and never received so much as a call back after I canceled the rest of my appointments to find out why. It's been a few weeks since then, and the new injury caused by the generic program that they administered has just gotten worse. So disappointed. The only reason why I gave it two stars instead of one is because the repetition did increase my stamina slightly while I was there, but the injury and lack of overall progress outweighed the benefits greatly.

Caring and compassionate. The staff really do care about you and your individual needs. State of the art equipment and educated and trained staff. They really try to get to know you and tailor a plan that will address your specific needs. I will be sad when I am done with my 6 weeks here, but I will take with me all that I have learned.

Second time here. Warm, friendly, very knowledgeable staff. Extremely clean facility with state-of- the art equipment. Nice receptionists, masseuses and physical therapists are always attentive to your needs. PT's show you how to perform each exercise correctly. Good parking.

I really likes it when I went there for my first knee replacement but they are also the reason I chose not to do outpatient therapy for my second knee replacement I had finished the therapy my insurance had covered me for in December then the day after I had decided not to go back because of my insurance I got a call from them I believe her name was Diane she called me and said she had talked to my insurance and they had cleared me for more visits I said but my insurance starts over in January and I will not be covered 100 percent anymore she replied to me yes you will they said I would be covered til February so I went back after a few visits in January she came up to me and said she was waiting for something from the insurance and then she would send out my bill to me I said you told me I was covered til February and I was not back to work full time yet so I couldn't pay she said well you have to leave right now and I will bill you for what sessions you have so I will not go back there and I chose not to do outpatient therapy for my second knee because I refuse to have that done to me again even thought all the therapists were great she destroyed my confidence in the business

I been going to Peak Motion for about 4 weeks and I couldn't be happier. The therapists, PTA and Techs are remarkably competent. Their multidisciplinary approach and modalities to healing by using, modern and alternative therapies is brilliant. i.e K-Tape, Electrical Stimulation, Dry Needling and Coupling is s great. They are good communicators and listeners and plus they are friendly and approachable. When working with them they are great on giving directions and instructions on the exercises to be preform. I told the PT’s that I felt that the manual work was really helping and they listen, now I am getting additional manual work on my neck and shoulders by Adrianne and she is amazing. She knows what she is doing an does an amazing job. I also have gotten some dry needling work by Wanli Lei, and its amazing as well. Dry needling is a form of therapy in which fine little needles are inserted into the muscle in trigger points and tendons, ligaments and nerves to stimulate a response for muscle. Its amazing! Their space is spacious with state-of-the art equipment and lots of light. At times I wear my sunglasses. Nothing like working out and seeing hot air balloons out the window. I totally recommend them without reservation. I am well underway to feeling better and moving with less pain. At peak motion they folks live and breathe their motto. Physical Therapy Where Movement Heals.
