Pre and post surgery for a torn rotator cuff, I worked with Joe and his staff at RC. I did not really believe that I would be able to return to my former activities, but Joe encouraged me to start with "baby steps". Always upbeat with a talent for making his patients feel comfortable, Joe's confident and knowledgeable approach led me to feel confident that things would get better. Now four months post surgery I have returned to the gym! I believe in the benefits of rehab and the talents of Joe and the staff at RC.

My physical therapy experience at Rehab Connection was excellent. The therapists, assistants and aides are professional, caring and friendly. The environment is warm, positive and welcoming, and everyone works together as a team to provide patients with attentive and timely care. My therapy plan as established by my physical therapist, Kathryn, included goals and exercises that were attainable and effective, remained mindful of my lifestyle and my personal fitness goals, and also fit well into my busy schedule. Although I was there to get back to wellness and was in significant pain during much of the therapy period, I enjoyed the friendly, family-like atmosphere, and almost never walked out of there without having had a few good laughs! Much of this due to Joe's out-of-tune singing and Kelly's devoted research to the Riddle-of-the-Day. In the past, I have had physical therapy at one of the larger, corporate-owned therapy locations, and they were fine. However, Rehab Connection is unique for all of the reasons listed above. I would ONLY return to Rehab Connection in the future because I am able to rehabilitate there in a timely manner and among professionals and other patients who feel like friends.

I have been to Rehab Connection for four separate issues in the past two years, and each time I have been more and more impressed with the staff's friendliness, knowledge, and skill. For this last visit I worked with a new PT to Rehab Connection, Laura Kennedy-Ryne. At first I was hesitant to work with her, as her skills and knowledge were unknown to me. However, I am incredibly glad I stuck with her! Her knowledge and expertise are some of the best I have encountered. She loves her profession, and it shows. She provided new and different exercises to strengthen my arm, along with effective manipulations and treatments. All of that together has led to my arm healing quicker and better than I expected given the ongoing challenges I have had with it. On top of her excellent clinical skills, she is also kind, caring, and friendly. I looked forward to talking with her at therapy regardless of what it was about. She always was eager to hear updates on the challenges connected to my arm and gave me great advice and recommendations to guide me in the process. I don't know what I would have done if I didn't get therapy with her! I would highly recommend Laura, and Rehab Connection to anyone in need of PT! Thank you Laura and Rehab Connection!!

I have been to Rehab-Connection in Barrington for knee and shoulder therapy. The staff pays very close attention as to how you do each exercise to regain your strength, mobility and balance. They always help and never criticize. Following through and not hurrying through gives you the results you expect. When you do each exercise the right way, you achieve that breakthrough and push even more to get back to normal mobility. These people always help you; you are never neglected in at way. They will assist you and answer any questions. Without the staff in Barrington Rehab-Connection, I know I wouldn't have achieved the results I wanted. I would recommend them highly to anyone who needs physical therapy. It's a complete group effort on their part to get your physical well-being back to normal.

Rehab Connection in Barrington has the best therapists around! Kathryn, Kathy, Joe, Tim and Kelly were all so supportive during my treatment. The atmosphere is upbeat and positive! The staff at Rehab connection was very helpful in decreasing my knee and hip pain. I like being very active, and hit a few road bumps that had me feeling pretty frustrated but they adjusted my routine and helped walked me thru it it. Great experience, I felt challenged in a good way, and now I'm back to my normal activities with very minimal pain.

I dame to Rehab Connection for a knee dislocation injury and couldn't have been happier! I've had this injury in the past and 3 or 4 repeats. Physical Therapy at other places helped, but didn't fix the issue. Joe and team identified a different issue and worked on building up hip strength on top of knee strength and my knee feels better than ever. I highly recommend coming here for any injury or pain. The team is very friendly and actually made PT enjoyable.

If you are seeking a physical therapist, this is the place to go! I was referred by my doctor because I have been experiencing pain since December 2012. After the birth of each of my children, the pain increased and never seemed to get better. I'll be honest, I was hesitant about even trying physical therapy out because the pain was so bad, I really didnt think it would help me. Boy, was I wrong. First of all, the therapists are very knowledgeable about their practice. As they assigned exercises for me to do here and at home, I was informed how it will help. Second, they are extremely kind and the display the best teamwork I have ever seen in any work environment. I am sitting here writing this and thinking about all of the things I have been able to do lately for myself and with my family because of the therapists,Kathy, Sammi, and Joe. I use to say I felt like an old lady. I was very limited to activities that I could do with friends and kids. I even had a hard time playing tag with my 4 year old, swimming during the second pregnancy due to severe sciatic pain, and laying on the floor with my baby (1 yr) so he could sit on my belly to play games. I can do that and so much more now! I can sit, stand, walk, and run without any pain. Thank you so much to everyone at Rehab Connections. With your help, I feel young and am athletic again.

I really enjoyed coming to Rehab Connection, for a couple of reasons.First, everyone was very friendly, helpful ans patient. Second because the treatment really helped. My mobility is sooo much better and I will continue to perform the exercises at home so that maybe I will get back to 100% with my knee. Third, the education I received from the information that was shared based on the exercises and the reason we do them. I cannot begin the thank everyone at Rehab Connection for their support, encouragement, teaching and help over the last 7-8 weeks! Sami encouraged me to push myself to strengthen my knee and kindly tolerated my very tearful 1st appt. Being in pain and having decreased physical functioning is stressful and frustrating but the staff was always encouraging, never thought a high-five would mean so much when you are finally able to tackle a flight of stairs! Kelly, Tim, Kathy, Kathryn & Joe, you all rock as well!! Isabel and the fellow office staff were equally as kind and helpful with scheduling and insurance follow up. It was bittersweet to leave today, almost had tears similarly to my first day. They made a stressful time, tolerable and I am forever grateful to them for being able to walk my dog again!

Rehab Connection was very helpful. I saw Joe Fatale for my therapy. He and the staff in the Barrington office really contour to their patients. After 36 sessions, the movement in my shoulder is much better. I have experienced a lot of rehab in my 64 years, but no experience has been as helpful and healing as at Rehab Connection in Barrington, NJ. Joe has been great along with the help of Kathrine, Kate, Sammi, Kelly, and Rubina. They have all been outstanding and I believe my shoulder is doing great because of all their help. Last, I do have to say that Laura has done an amazing job when working on my shoulder. She has a great approach in working the muscles and stretching just where it is needed. When I first came to Rehab Connection, I could barely lift a pitcher of water and put it into the refrigerator without heaps of pain/discomfort in my left shoulder. You could imagine how upset this made me, being as I'm a powerlifter. Benching was out of the question for quite awhile due to this bursitis/rotator cuff tendonitis I have developed. My first visit at Rehab Connection was fantastic, and they only got better. Kathryn is an absolutely fantastic PT(I worked with her the most out of the 5 there, they are all amazing PT's/people as well). In just a few short months, I was back on the bench press without pain. I also FINALLY put that water pitcher on the top shelf of the refrigerator WITHOUT PAIN OR DISCOMFORT. I would recommend this fantastic facility to absolutely everyone. I've watched them work with a wide variety of people, and they ALL made progress in my time there. I can honestly say, I'll miss going in every Monday, and Thursday as I have just graduated today! Haha.

When I was done with the last exercise I was given & my therapist was busy someone else would get me started on the next one. I was usually called back to get started as soon as I arrived, even if a little early or a little late. Everyone wears very friendly even the office staff.
