This is place has a great staff that are very helpful. After my ACL surgery, the therapist and the aides supported my progress and pushed me every visit as got better and better. I have a kl ong way to go but I'm happy that I've chosen Sportmed Paramus for my recovery! They have been flexible with my work schedule. Small con: the place a but small and could use more equipment as seen in other physical therapy offices. But they are very efficient with what they do have. I would definitely recommend.

SportMed realized the source of my back problem was not my back but the muscles in my right leg. What I was impressed with is that they just did not give me streching exercised to do but worked to relieve the tension in the muscle to relieve the back pain. After several weeks, I am very pleased with the outcome and have my flexability back with no pain.

I had a major car accident which impacted my middle and lower back. Due to this I could neither bend an inch nor could I stand more than Ten minutes at a stretch. I could not lift even a pound !!! I walked in Dianna’s office with the above symptoms. After first four sessions I was 25% better. She kept on working on my back and after 24th session I played a 4o minutes Soccer game. Before I started the therapy, I had sleepless nights. However, with the treatment I received from Diana sometimes I fell asleep and snored during the physical therapy session.  Diana has the highest standards for excellence in her field and she is an excellent professional who cares greatly for her patients. The personal attention I received from Diana at Avant Care Physical Therapy was an exceptional and it provided me with tremendous results. One thing I learnt during my therapy is that “Never Argue with your therapist. Just trust her and follow the instructions she suggests. You might not be comfortable in following the instructions at the moment however very soon you would see the results. Hats off to Diana for helping me bring back my mobility and strength just within Two months. This took me by surprise as I initially thought it would be several months before I could be in my normal life. I would like to thank Dianna for her sincere efforts and care she and her staff provided to me while undergoing physical therapy at Avant Care Physical Therapy facility. I love the atmosphere at the Paramus location. In the beginning I was hesitant to start my physical therapy sessions but Jon and Evangeline are very welcoming and professional. The aides help out a great deal and everyone is on top of their game. The facility is also always clean. Working with Jon mostly, we've built a relationship in where I trust his expertise and he has challenged my progress. After a few weeks I'm feeling much much better and can count on this facility to give me the attention that I need to heal. Overall, I'm very satisfied with the service here from the PTs, to the aides, and even the receptionists ! Thank you so much !

Since I started going to therapy and chiro here my body has felt so much better. They let you take your time doing your exercises they listen to what your telling them and do there best to make sure your doing everything you can do to get better. I normally dont really do reviews but everyone in the building is very nice and welcoming and it's a nice place to go so I said why not.

Ms. Singer was fine when I started therapy. However, as her practice has grown, she has less time for patients and many patients have been handed off to a part time therapist. That is unfortunate. Please also be aware that if you call in to cancel therapy "too late", you will be billed $25 dollars for each instance, even if you are sick and unable to make it, Too bad.

After injuring my back in the gym, I was prescribed physical therapy. I easily found SportsMed through both their online presence as well as their location near my home. I cannot say enough about the high quality level of care I am receiving as a patient at SportsMed. Withtin the first two visits, most of the staff were able to greet me by name; I felt welcomed, and respected instantly. Both PT and aides go to great lengths to help patients understand their injuries as well as treat them. I felt that SportsMed was easily able to strike a balance of treating my back without pushing me or causing me any further pain. Finally, the staff at SportsMed really listened to my goals and tailored my PT protocol to include the functional movements I was dying to get back into, to get back to the gym. I look forward to my PT appointments at SportsMed! Although I would never wish anyone get hurt, it feels good to know there is AMAZING therapeutic care right around the corner!

I have been coming to sports med physical therapy for the last six weeks and I could not be more pleased! The service and compassion that I received from all the staff is exemplary. I work very strenuous and difficult hours, Shannon and Michelle with the office staff is always accommodating me with my work schedule in order to fit in my physical therapy time. Luma Dimitri and Marcus are always there to assist me with my exercises to ensure that I’m doing them properly to maximize my physical therapy treatment so that I will heal even faster. The Physical Therapist staff are a most professional group of people. Vangie, Janki, John, Angelo and Ursula have all worked on me and I am making progress! I could not be more pleased. I would recommend to anyone who needs physical therapy help to use Sports Med of Paramus!

But more than that the warmth and kindness of their staff is also very healing. The atmosphere is very professional, and even though they're a small, busy place, you never have to wait long to be seen.

I had a very bad ankle fracture and was referred to physical therapy post-surgery. My surgeon's office highly reccomended Diana at Avant Care. After the cast was removed, my foot was stiff, swollen and extremely painful. I didn't think i would ever walk properly again. Thanks to Diana, after about 3 months of extensive therapy I have regained the use of my foot again. I would highly recommend her, she does outstanding work!

I have had an excellent experience here, dealing with cervical and lumbar issues from my car accident more than a year ago. The staff is friendly and professional , but most importantly the PTs themselves are genuinely concerned with my continued improvement. No one ‘cuts corners’ here. The PTs give you ample time at each session and I leave feeling discernibly better each time. The assistants are attentive and charming ( Louma, Steve, Julian! In particular, but they also work me hard!! Other places have been very lax. I am here to improve and to build strength. I’m in the right place!!

After suffering from a herniated disc for months, I was referred to SportsMed in Paramus, who diligently worked with me to alleviate the excruciating pain. I cannot furnish the staff with enough praise. They are professional, polite, courteous, extremely affable and amicable. The atmosphere and ambiance is great, mostly because of the staff. This is the only place in NJ I would recommend. The thing that sets them apart from everyone else is the very capable team they have assembled and the care they take in treatment, which isn't rushed and the fact that they take their time with you is the main reason I keep coming back. A big shout out to Jon, Vangie, Louma, Aldo, Shannon, Marcus, Dimitri, Jankie and anyone else I may have forgotten. The location is great and always clean, and is 'fully loaded' with all the equipment you may need to get you on your road to recovery. I'm also grateful that they are open on Saturday mornings.

Wow! Started coming here after years of hip pain due to hip dysplasia and bursitis. Have seen other therapists in the past but never received the kind of quality care I experienced under the hands of Vangie! She really treated me like a person and not as a number. Saw a huge difference in my pain and functionality as the weeks progressed. Her recommendations were always on point. Louma was always great at keeping me motivated during the exercises and brings great positive energy to the room. And Shannon is probably the nicest and most accommodating Office manager I have ever dealt with. Always tried to get me in, even on short notice. Coming here was the best thing I ever did for myself.
