I had started with a different facility with a therapist who didn't seem to care about me at all, just treated me like a number and didn't seem to know what she was doing or how to treat my injury and actually made me worse. When I came to Sunny, I immediately felt at ease and my injury started getting better from the start. Sunny asked about what my goals were, explained the expected time frame of treatment and explained each exercise. Sunny told me what to expect before and after sessions and also asked about how I was feeling outside of sessions. I got back to running within a couple of months and now feel great!!!

When first time I came to Dr. Sunny, I was out of alignment physically. Was having pain in neck, back, hip, headaches. I was feeling fatigue and was not able to sleep properly. I have multiple degenerative discs and scoliosis. My job is to work on computer all day and I was not able to sit for more than 1 hour and was not able to focus much because of the pain. When we are structurally out of alignment, it can cause all sorts of issues. When things aren’t moving properly, it makes it hard for your body to do its job. Not to mention, pain is exhausting and zaps energy. All of life is energy. We are energy. Any disturbance or blockages to the energy flow creates imbalances… Physical, mental and emotional stressors can cause subluxations (misalignment of the vertebrae) which interfere with signals getting clearly through your body. This can result in many health problems, including fatigue and insomnia. Sunny took all my X-Rays and MRI taken on diff point of time, put together and analyzed them. He put together the treatment plan using the Computerized Spinal Decompression Machine , UTS (Universal Traction Machine) , core exercises and spine molding blocks, Accupuncture and many more techiniques. As the treatment went on, I started feeling pain free. Headaches were gone. I feel more physically aligned and strong. I feel more energetic. My digestion and stomach issues started to improve as with spine, my internal organs started aligning. My stomach shrunk as a result of improved digestion system. I am now able to sit longer and work without any pain. I am able to ride bike for 15-20 miles. Before the treatment, I was not able to ride more than 2 miles. Dr. Sunny is extremely passionate about finding solution to help people in pain. He is very kind and compassionate doctor. Not only Dr. Sunny but his all staff, Physical Therapists and Chiropractor Doc are very caring and work hard to help and teach patients. have been to many different physical therapy centers and funny thing is they say that they treat only one body part at a time. I think that is just a joke on patients. Dr. Sunny looks holistically the whole body when there is a pain and does whatever it takes to fix the issue. I am extremely grateful to Dr. Sunny, Dr. Sahidi, Dr. Vidisha and Dr. Paneri for helping me. Great work Dr. Sunny and Thank you !

I went to NJ Rehab after I had back pain from a long drive to Niagara falls and back. At NJ Rehab they helped me train my muscles, stretch and strengthen them again. Its a good one stop shop for joint problems because they have Chiro, PT and massage under the same roof. I loved their way of treatment of first getting a fix from the Chiro, then stretch and strengthen by PT and finally a weekly massage by the massage therapist. Thanks to Dr Vidisha, Shahidi, Paneri and the therapist Mercedes. They are all patient, have good listening skills and good camaraderie in between themselves to communicate, help and fix joint and muscle pains.

I decided to come to NJ Rehab Experts after having knee surgery for a torn meniscus. I consider myself quite athletic playing volleyball for 15+ years and an avid runner. I wanted to commit to a physical therapy practice that would take my injury and desire to heal seriously. I’ve been to quite a few PT practices, and never took them seriously since my experience from them was being taught basic exercises to help strengthen the injured area for 20-30min...and a nice massage or solicited spine adjustment or acupuncture. NJ Rehab Experts completely changed my standards for what a PT practice should exemplify. First off, my PT for my knee felt like a workout with a personal trainer. The therapist, Paneeri, would never leave the room and if she had to then would always come back to check if my exercises were executed correctly. She always talks about the science and importance of proper posture for PT exercises. The other therapist, Vidisha, would also step in to help if it got busy. She is great with stretches and always pushes you hard. Point is I always had 1:1 attention. Every week they would push you and change the exercises. I was so impressed with the PT that I inquired about the acupuncture and chiropractic services, which are also very popular among clients. After a few sessions, I realized why. The acupuncturist, Robert, knows his stuff....lives and breathes it. His services helped aide in my knee recovery, but he is also knowledgeable in Eastern medicine and helped my find teas and herbs to help aide in my recovery. I’ve now bought another 10x pack acupuncture package for Robert to help my with my hypothyroidism using special teas and acupuncture. Side effect of hypothyroidism is dry skin, and for the longest time I’ve had dandruff, after a few sessions I don’t have that problem any more. My hormones aka periods are more cyclical and not erratic. The chiropractor, Dr. Shahidi, is also amazing. It’s not just about spinal adjustments, but Using equipment to help blood flow and muscle therapy (NOT a massage) to relax the muscles. I’ve been working with her to specifically help correct my posture using a crazy machine that looks like a torture device, but is freaking amazing. She requires you to take x-rays to genuinely check if your spine needs correction and re-evaluates the curves after each session. I feel like my posture is better and maybe even a little taller. This place is a hidden gem conveniently located in Newport. The owner, Sunny, is always upgrading the services with high tech equipment and special bio -feedback to check if your muscles are actually engaged and working out. They are very very flexible with hours and great with pricing. So after 4 months of consistently doing PT , I went from barely being able to walk up stairs to working out 1 hr on the elliptical, doing lunges & squats, and running a mile. Thank you guys!!!

I want to take this moment and reflect on my journey with New Jersey Rehab Experts. I was recommended by my orthopedic surgeon, Dr. Elgazzar. I will say it was the best recommendation for therapy. First, I will say Ms. Vanesha, Ms. PJ, are great physical therapists. They both are professionals in their field. They express concern, compassion and empathy. Second, Mr. Robert the accupuntarist and Dr. Melina the chiropractor are awesome individuals who needless to say are experts in their field. They have provided me with the constant care and support. They continue to work aggressively and strategically to bring be to a greater physical health and well being. Their care and support is more than anyone can anticipate when walking through a journey as such. Third, Ms. Priyal and Ms. Amnol are the greatest support system they insure your appointments are made accordingly and most importantly, they are professionals and caring individuals. They make sure you are aware of all your appointments and reschedule you at any given notice. As we all know our lives change so, that we need to reschedule constantly, and they are very supportive and understanding. I have been patient of New Jersey Rehab Experts, Physiotherapy Clinic for about 5 months now. I can not be more satisfied with the type of therapy I have received and with the results itself. One thing I find very impressive is how they put in extra efforts to assist patients and give them personal attention to help better understand their concerns. I completely tore my ACL and wanted to do 3 months prehab before going in for surgery. Sunny helped device a plan which helped me build strength on my injured leg and restore range-of-motion to its potential. They are equipped with all the latest equipments, one of my favorite which I have been using regularly is biofeedback device. After months of prehab I was confident to go for surgery and its been just 2 weeks after my ACL Reconstruction surgery I can see how much prehab has benefited me. Already my knee flexion has reached to 70 degree and extension to 0 degree. They make you work really hard and push you to your extremes for your own benefit! I highly recommend this practice for multiple reasons . I recently had acute pain in my upper back and neck where I had to be seen on an er basis. To start with the front desk was extremely prompt and really worked with me to get me in the same day. Dr Paneri ( physical therapist ) evaluated me thoroughly and worked with me to help me out of my acute pain. I was then seen by Dr Shahidi ( chiropractor) . She too was excellent. Heard me out evaluated and really spent the time with me. This incident happened 2 weeks ago . I have been diligently following up and they have been working very hard . I genuinely feel this practice cares for their patients . Scheduling wise they have late evenings and availability which is a big plus when you have to work. Even the days I didn’t have an appointment and my back got exacerbated they were more than welcome to accomdate me . They are a wonderful practice and truly care. Highly recommend!!!

They are an awesome young and energetic bunch who work very closely and attentively with you One fine morning I suddenly had a severe pain with restricted movement of my neck left shoulder and left hand. The pain was quite miserable and unbearable and no amount of pain killer injections or steroids made any difference I searched for a physical therapy place around me and came across NJ Rehab experts.. And from there on began my journey with them The chiropractor Dr Shahidi did a wonderful job with me. I love her adjustments and her attention to details.. she seems to understand each movement and nerve and muscle..I would strongly endorse her to anyone who is scared to meet chiropractors and their impressions would change Robert the accupuncture specialist is good at his craft and does wonders with the needles and cups and his sense of humour.. these two together took a lot of care to bring down my pain Dr Paaneri and Vidisha spent a lot of time in physical therapy with me and again their attention to details and personal touch is awesome. I had severe pain on my shoulder and knee during post pregnancy. I was asked to do therapy 3 times a week .initially i was very hesitant to go with new born at home. But the therapist videsha is very good on treating people , giving right exercises, addressing questions on mail on time. Space is bit small due to real estate but they manage very well so that we dont realize it. I recommend this place strongly for any one!! Good luck with your recovery...
