At the New Jersey Center of Physical Therapy, my experience has been and continues to be amazing. Everyone here is so nice and so helpful. In the past few weeks, I have been helped and treated way better than anyone else could. My physical therapist, Joanne, has helped me so much and gotten me so much closer to being back on the ice and skating at the best of my ability, if not better. For the last few weeks, I have been utilizing the physical therapy services of NJCPT for Bell's Palsy. NJCPT had a large, state of the art facility that employs very professional staff. I can now attest that they have provided outstanding, compassionate service. I had the good fortune to connect with this clinic. Jennifer Taylor, Doctor of Physical Therapy, developed a personalized program for me, with almost immediate results! Not only is "Dr. Jenn" extremely effective but equally, pleasant and congenial. In a few short weeks I've made significant progress under her tutelage. The entire staff at NJCPT comes under the umbrella of "outstanding." Ancillary staff beginning with a very pleasant reception staff, Caitlyn and Kristina, greet you with a wonderful dose of outstanding pleasantry. Lastly, Dustin, Stephanie, and Patty work hard on a daily basis to help deliver the mission of significant progress. I highly recommend NJCPT without reserve.

Sam was extremely thorough with his diagnosis of the issues and steps to alleviate the pain. The doctors' aides were all extremely engaged and made the whole experience a delightful one. The New Jersey Center for Physical Therapy was wonderful!! I had a tough year, recovering from an achilles tendon rupture and a shoulder injury. I had been to two physical therapy facilities prior to finding NJCPT, and I can tell you, this facility and its staff are top notch! The facility is clean, modern, and easily accessible. All my appointments ran on-time and it was very easy to schedule/re-schedule appointments. The staff was warm, welcoming, and quick to make you feel like family. I worked with Dr. Melanie Eskin. Unlike some other facilities, Dr. Eskin worked with me at every appointment so she could really track my progress and fine tune my rehab/therapy. She is brilliant, intuitive, and very professional. She is really passionate about her profession and loves what she does and it shows. I felt very comfortable under her watchful eye as I progressed. Choosing the right facility does make a difference and I promise you won't regret choosing The New Jersey Center for Physical Therapy in Riverdale!

The stretches have helped immensely with, not only my back, but also the nightly cramping in my legs. As a former college athlete I pride myself in my ability to still play sports at a high level. Injuries tried to tell another story but luckily I was referred to NJCPT where I met Femi. I just finished my second stint of physical therapy there. One for a foot injury and one for a knee injury. Femi really pushed me and now I’m happy to say I’m back on the basketball court. Femi was a godsend for me, after seeing about 4 other physical therapists I found one who could maximize my potential and get me back where I needed to be. NJCPT is in a class of its own ! I have had a major back injury about a year ago with constant nerve pain down both of my legs . For a long period of time , my pain was level off the charts . I had days I would wake up almost crying due to my pain . Today... I am able to almost get back to my full workout routines each day to the constant support physically and mentally from the amazing staff at NJCPT ! Mike is an incredible physical therapist . He truly loves his job and you can see the passion in his eyes in how he wants to help his clients get back to normalcy. My physical therapy experience at NJCPT was outstanding. My PT was Dr.Amanda Lee Montalvo. I was there for a total knee revision rehabilitation. Dr. Amanda is by far the most skilled physical therapist that I have encountered (I have seen many PT's). She genuinely cares about her patients. I have had interactions with the entire staff, they are all excellent and friendly. The facility is modern, bright and cheery. I would highly recommend NJCPT.

I've been a patient of NJCPT for quite awhile now. I have some lower back aches and sometimes shoulder discomfort, which my Dr.'s have helped me alleviate and diminish over the years. I've seen Dr. Heather LaManno in the past and Dr. Christopher Rago most recently. Both are amazing Dr.'s, but the entire staff of Dr.'s are so well educated I really can see anyone of them to help me with any of my ailments. Currently I have started a successful healthier lifestyle goal which I attribute to seeing their on staff nutritional counselor Dayle Van Ess and I met with her in conjunction to my PT. I am currently at an 11 pound weight loss and able to jog not just walk with little to no lower back pain thanks to my PT Dr. Rago. I'd highly recommend PT not just as a means to fix you when you have aches and pains, just had a major injury or surgery. I now look at PT as an overall wellness to my healthier lifestyle and with all they have to offer to help me get there, why wouldn't I choose this to help me achieve that success?!

I went to the center two weeks after bilateral knee replacement. My wife and I were greeted warmly and made to feel at home. We met with my team Therapist Katrina and Rachael who evaluated me and came up with a treatment plan. Over the past seven weeks I look forward to my visits. The whole staff is warm and friendly. First off, the new facility is gorgeous... it's set up so well with easy access. It sounded odd to me to have it located on the 2nd floor, but it is so easy to get there, even for my 87 year old Dad. The elevator is huge and super convenient and it gets better once you walk into the beautiful open-space treatment center and gym. You immediately receive a warm greeting from the receptionists, who are happy to help with all of the scheduling and finer details, the sitting area is spacious and comfortable with lots of snacks and coffee! But the most important thing is the treatment you receive from the therapists and aids. I have been bringing my Dad to NJ Center of Physical Therapy , first at the old location and now at the beautiful new place, for about 9 months or so. He has been treated with care and respect from the very beginning. EVERYONE is so warm and caring of my Dad... it is truly amazing! He has balance & walking difficulties, after a few mini-strokes, and the treatments he has been receiving from Dr. Amanda Montalvo has had such a positive affect. He went from a wheelchair to a walker and now he is only using a cane, thanks to Amanda's hard work and patience with him. Our family can not thank her, and the whole staff, enough!! During one of my Dad's visits, Amanda noticed a little pain and limited motion I had in my left arm (a sports injury from 30 years ago), she said "you know, you don't have to live with that for the rest of your life, why don't you let me check it out". Long story short... she did and and I started treatments almost immediately (I may have been sceptical, but that's another story). Dr. Joanna Scaglione (Jo) treated my shoulder and gave me back the strength and flexibility in that arm that I have not had in probably 15 years, and she did it with such skill and care... and we even had fun... actually a LOT of fun! I am overjoyed at the results!! But almost as important as the treatment I received was the care I received from Jo and the WHOLE staff... they could not do anything more to make you feel welcome and comfortable and make it a pleasant experience from beginning to end... it's like these people are from somewhere else, where everyone is just... NICE. I really want to mention everyone's name who has helped me, and is still working with my Dad, but I'll probably forget someone, and they'll feel insulted and be mad at me... and I still see them 3 times a week with my Dad... and that won't go well... So I will just say that, TRULY, EVERY ONE of the staff are a pleasure to be around, highly professional, SUPER caring and respectful!!! You can not ask for more than that! I highly recommend this staff and facility!!

My therapist is Dr Nick Di Somma. After 9 visits, I have incredibly improved mobility and strength in my knee after tearing my miniscus. He has an incredible knowledge about the body and what will help it to heal. He is also compassionate, flexible and a great listener. I have recommended him as well as NJCPT to everyone I know who is suffering with pain and injury and will continue to do so. A++++ Rating.

The NJCPT Tuesday-Thursday-Saturday team is excellent from the beginning to the conclusion of each session. Each day when I arrive, I receive a pleasant greeting from the receptionist. Each session begins with a warm welcome from my personal therapist and is immediately followed by the start of the protocol for the session. I find that there is no waiting between the therapeutic activities. All staff members are positively responsive to each aspect of my treatment to encourage and sustain me through the session. The time flies as I progress in my treatment, and the result is evident by my improved abilities in the area for which I am being treated. Best Clinic Coordinators and Doctors on Staff!!! They do a fantastic job creating a personalized treatment for each patient and train their staff and Students extremely well. They are so personable and accommodating. There clinic is very clean, functional, and diverse in equipment and programs. There is even a Nutritionist on site and a Cryo therapy chamber. Plus, they have the best motto. "No Pain, All Gain!"

This is my 3rd time trying physical therapy and the only time it has been successful. Previously, I have never lasted more than 3 weeks because there was a tipping point where nobody seemed to care anymore. The previous 2 times, there quickly came a point when it was " you know the drill, just do your routine". Very disappointing. After toughing out my back pain for a long time I finally gave in and tried PT again. HOLY MACKEREL!! What a difference the people can make! The awesomeness starts with the initial phone call, and continues to the greeting upon arrival by the reception staff . Very professional and comfortable, so far. Awesomeness continues with the introduction to your doctor and continues every step of the way. All of the staff, not just your doctor is eager and willing to help. "Are you comfortable?" and "Can I get you anything?" are not questions I heard at other places. TLDR - Go here for your PT needs!!!! DR Jenn and the rest of the staff are absolutely worth it!!!!

My experience with New Jersey Center of Physical Therapy has been great throughout my time receiving treatment from them. I would strongly recommend that you at least consider them as your primary option, and have a conversation with one of their doctors and client care specialists about treatment whether they are considered “in network” or “out of network”. I had the misfortune of experiencing two very different major injuries during 2016. The first injury had ER Doctors scrambling, and I was pretty scared for my future. I am a very active and adventurous individual with plenty more that I want to experience. Dr. Montalvo and her team of Doctors and professionals at the Riverdale office were more than ready to help me to get to where I wanted to go. Because of their exceptional treatment I went from being immobile and wearing a full back brace to driving a golf ball further than I could before, along with many other hobbies that include climbing. My next injury involved surgery with implanted plates and screws, and I knew exactly who I was going to see to help me with my recovery. I recently finished up with my treatment and am looking forward to a spring season full of softball, basketball, golf, fishing, and hiking. No matter how drained I was from the workday, or how frustrated I was with a second major injury in one year’s time Dr. Montalvo and the team at the Riverdale office were always motivating and uplifting every single time I was at their location. To be successful on the road to recovery you need to be determined and put forth the required effort, but it can’t be done nearly as effectively without a strong team of Doctors and professionals (who implement a structured plan and help boost that determination and drive) around you. The New Jersey Center of Physical Therapy, Inc. will provide you with all of the tools you need for a complete recovery. Throughout the process, one of their Client Care Specialists, Ms. Burgoon, was very insightful and helpful with handling any of those dreaded insurance questions. Not only was she able to answer my questions, but was also WAY more helpful and clear with her answers than the insurance reps. As I mentioned before I would recommend this PT Office & Company as a whole to anyone in need of Physical Therapy of any kind. Best wishes on a speedy recovery, and if you decided to go with the New Jersey Center of Physical Therapy I can assure you that you will be in great hands.
