For a starter, the KIMA Center is an extremely pleasant, attractive, spacious physical presence. To enter it is to enter a friendly, open, easy space. I was recommended here by my neurologist, and was pleased to find the staff intelligent and warm. Moreover, my physician at HHS recommended one therapist in particular to match my "complaint." The therapist is Monica V. I find her highly profession, calm, and intuitive, so much so that a lingering concern of mine from childhood, affecting my gait and posture, was remedied on recommendation from Monica ... though neglected by medical practitioners for decades. Monica is an extremely well-prepared and patient physical therapist whose abilities match her attractive personal demeanor. I can say only good about the staff: one is welcomed here. People are pleasant. The locker facilities are quite adequate. I'm always happy to be greeted. And what is more I've never had a problem resolving problems, for example, in billing. So overall, I recommend the KIMA Center very highly. Monica, my therapist, has helped me a great distance toward resolving physical issues of long standing and great concern. I greatly value her.

The facility is exceptionally well-organized, timely, and professional. Stephanie Caudle was my PT and she was excellent (smart, good listener, caring, took detailed notes, always had new ideas to try, brought in other therapists when helpful, always on time, etc.). I would highly recommend Kima and Stephanie, specifically.

I had been to another therapist for my coccyx injury but Justine Ward at Kima Center for Physiotherapy really cured me. I had chronic coccyx pain. She is extremely skilled at both internal and external manipulation to get to the muscles surrounding and attached to the coccyx to relax. She also gave my a number of targeted stretches and exercises which combined with the manipulation got rid of my coccyx pain. One has to be religious about doing the stretches and exercises but it works!! Kima Center for PT specializes in women's pelvic problems and I highly recommend them!

Patricia (one of the founding partners) has been terrific in helping me recover from spine and nerve injury. Liz, whom I've seen in addition to Patricia, has also provided great body work. Both have been patient during this very slow process of healing. The Kima Center space is clean and comfortable, and the administrative staff couldn't be more helpful and friendly.

I started seeing Stephanie Caudle for physical therapy in the spring of 2015 due to some muscular issues I was having. Shortly after I started seeing Stephanie, she recommended I add massage therapy treatments with James Giacinto. Having them as a team was probably the best investment I've ever made!! Both Stephanie and Jim have such a willingness and passion to help heal. Their generosity paired with their knowledge and expertise of the body is unparalleled. Highly recommend them both.

great reputation but certainly overrated. their top rated physios are not even available, and even they are not really up with the latest knowledge in physical therapy. if you;re injury is not very complex or you need a second opinion i would give them a try as they are very professional, but more importantly are probably better than most in nyc (surprisingly nyc does not have top physios compared to other parts of the world)

These practitioners truly care about your health and wellbeing to get you back to functioning as safely as possible. Monica is especially fantastic (and so is Fara). She's knowledge, compassionate, well educated, smart, willing to continue learning and stay up to date on the latest science, capable, and invaluable. Without Monica my chronic pain would have seemed insurmountable; however, with her guidance one can learn to manage some symptoms and build a foundation for one's road to recovery. Lovely clinic with highly trained staff and physicians.
