Atlantic PT is staffed with amazing people. They are very skilled and compassionate. They are always watching even when you think you are doing the excercises alone, someone will come up with a suggestion to make you task easier or a word of encouragement. Because of their skill I am walking without assistance and have good range of motion three weeks after bilateral knee replacement. I would highly recommend Atlantic Physical Therapy to anyone.

I don't even know where to begin, but I do know Atlantic Physical Therapy is fantastic and has given me my quality of life back. After having allograft transplant surgery on my left knee in November 2014, I knew I was going to have months of tough pt ahead of me to get back on my feet again. I met Mike Manzo 5 days before the transplant surgery at the Freehold location on a random reccomendation from a high school friend who knew this location was close to my house. I was very nervous and I explained to Mike my current transplant situation and also about a failed micro-fracture surgery/bad physical therapy experience I had back in 2011 which was done elsewhere. Mike made me feel extremely comfortable, relaxed, confident, and at ease with what was about to happen to me and the physical therapy protocol that I had to follow post-op. After 30 minutes of speaking with Mike I knew I was going to be in good hands. Fast forward 6 months and I couldn't be more pleased with my progress. Mike and his entire staff are extremely professional, knowledgable, hard working, friendly, compassionate, and I owe them a ton of credit for getting me back to a great quality of life both physically and mentally that I have not had since 2011. I am still a patient today getting stronger and stronger, but since day 1 I have felt more like a personal friend to everyone there. They have helped me physically, mentally when I thought things weren't possible, dealt with my insurance on numerous occasions when obstacles occurred in my coverage, and most of all really cared about my progress each and every day I walked through their doors. In a time where $$$ and insurance rules the healthcare industry it's rare to find a facility and a group of professionals that put an individual and their needs 1st. Atlantic Physical Therapy is that place and that's why I would like to personally thank Mike, Chris, Theresa, Jana, Erin, Matt, Kelly, and Keren for all of their hard work and for getting me going again!

The only PT I will go to, yes, I’m a repeat offender. Everyone is excellent, they know what they’re doing. (Can’t say that about other PT’s I have been to.) Never had a bad experience.

I have been in and out of PT for roughly 10 years for Achilles tendinitis among other issues. Out of the many different clinics I’ve been to over the years, this was by far my worst experience with physical therapy. The therapists only really paid attention to me during my exercises for my first two, maybe three visits. After that, I was left with the aids, who were neither athletic trainers nor certified in PT. These aids were so busy running around from patient to patient, no one truly had time to work with me. I was simply shown an exercise and then left alone. During my short time here, more often than not I was left unattended to figure out my newly learned exercises for myself. I often felt I was doing these exercises wrong, and it was rare that someone corrected me. Not one physical therapist looked up from their computer screens long enough to notice when I was struggling or confused, and none of them offered to help me with the exercises. Andrew and Kelly were the only staff members who seemed interested in my progress while I was there. Teresa, Keren, and Joe were particularly cold and unfriendly. If you want to get better, this is not the place to go. They did not help me at all.

The entire staff at the Freehold location is not only very knowledgeable and professional, they are also very personable and patient and make each session as enjoyable as possible. And exercise isn’t something I typically look forward to! I also like that the therapists rotate working on you so you get a range of skill sets and approaches. The room is spacious, and the variety of equipment and exercises makes the time go by quickly.

Atalantic Physical Therapy has helped me heal on many different occasions. I have used their facility in freehold for after torn meniscus surgery, when I had issues with my back, tennis elbow to name a few. They are very friendly, professional and give you individualized attention. I've been going to Atlantic Physical Therapy in Freehold for about 3 months now. I went to All-Care Physical Therapy 3 years ago after major elbow surgery to release my ulnar nerve, and to clean out some non-malignant bone growth. I really never fully recovered post surgery from there, and the things they had me doing I feel were honestly not effective at getting me my range of motion back in my elbow. I've been working with Mike Manzo and Andrew Goelz at Atlantic for the past 3 months on my elbow. Since then, after 3 years of surgery, through different myofascial techniques among other things, they have gotten me back and extended range of motion, along with reducing the pain I was having from the nerve sticking again. The techniques were night and day to the other Physical Therapy place I had went too, and with diligence on my own with home exercises as well, I'm pretty much back to as normal as my elbow will ever be, functional and livable. My elbow had also forced by shoulder to start to dislocate as it was compensating for the movements. They were able to fix that in a few short weeks as well while working my elbow. Recently I had back issues and will likely need surgery. They have been giving me exercises to help relax the nerves and it has helped in reducing the sciatica I've had. There are more major issues with my back, but I can at least walk a little more normal for an extended period of time. They honestly go above and beyond with everything. While Mike and Andrew were the Physical Therapists I have used, I don't think you can go wrong with any of the others as well. They are very friendly, very proper, and you can kind of see it in other patients. This is the only location I will honestly go to for all of my needs as they seem to have 100% success on everything I am dealing with. They get busy sometimes (Not often), but you need to remember they are good. So be patient with it all. They are there to help you and truly will.

Mike Manzo and his staff are amazing! Mike took me under his wing and gave added mobility and confidence on my journey to wellness. I am forever grateful for his nurturing spirit and dedication to his craft. I left a competitive PT practice and found my way to Atlantic PT. The difference in one on one personalized care was dramatic. When Mike is with you, he is focused on you 110% and does not rush treatment. Chris and Kelly are also extremely dedicated and knowledgable therapists. When my son fractured his wrist I didn't give a second thought where I would take him for sports therapy. Both Mike and Chris assisted him to regaining his strength and agility for basketball and golf. Karen, who assists with exercises is super at multitasking and keeps you moving through your program. She was great with my son! Mike and his team are my first and only choice when it comes to sports therapy,
