I've had great results in managing chronic back, hip & IT Band pain. Mike Cole and Marcus Rowan have worked with me to set up a stretching and exercise plan, along with dry needling and cupping, to keep the pain in check. I highly recommend trying dry needling and cupping, if your PT thinks it is appropriate for you. It has a made a huge difference for me!

I am a returning client to PTA. Their knowledge, kindness, and experience was the deciding factor in my returning after rotator cuff surgery. Mike, (his student Erin), and Kalani are awesome. If it wasn't for Jason Lay and the Work Start / Hardening program I wouldnt be as progressed in my rehabilitation as i am now. After the first week with him and this program I am capable of doing movements and actions that hindered me just two weeks before. I would HIGHLY recommend this program for anyone who has a high impact and rigorous work load as their occupation. Jason matches your therapy to your job and life rehab expectations specifically. I am a 69 year old active retiree. I was referred to PTA by my doctor for a possible partial herniated disc. Saul Helgeson worked with me for approximately 8 weeks on my core strength and flexibility. Saul is knowledgeable and professional and a pleasure to work with. My symptoms improved weekly and I am pleased to say that I am now pain free and have a much stronger core. My balance has improved significantly. I highly.recommend PTA and Saul in particular. The staff was great and the facility was top notch.

I also am a returning patient, numerous times!! This time began after a car accident in Jan, 2018 from which I received a concussion. Saul worked long and hard to get me over the headache and muscle tension. Then a few short weeks after finishing that, I had a total right knee replacement and again returned to Saul for therapy. At my age now, it seemed to be taking a long time to heal, but Saul kept encouraging me to hang in there and I think the end is near. A return of the headache has me being seen for knee and headache. Marcus is helping me this time for the headache and is just as encouraging. He helped me a few years ago when I was having tension headaches and taught me stretches and such to control them. Those techniques helped to resolve headaches until the car accident. My beginning visit was in 2006 with Blaine. Had a second fusion and went through therapy else where with no success. Thankfully my nurse case manager had worked with Blaine and sent me to him. I could not even lift my right leg to put it on left knee. When I was done I was stronger than I had been in many years. That is why I continue to frequent PTA for all my therapy needs. The office staff, aides, transporter, billers and therapists are top notch!! Nothing personal, but am hoping to not have to return again! :0)

I have been going to Professional Therapy Associates at 105 Village Loop in Kalispell for several weeks for physical therapy for a shoulder injury. My orthopedist prescribed physical therapy, but because of conflict-of-interest issues could not recommend a specific physical therapist, so I began asking friends and associates, and nearly all of those who had gone through physical therapy for injuries or after surgery recommended PTA. After going to PTA twice a week for four weeks I understand why. Everyone there from the fantastic receptionist, Audrey, to the therapists, interns and tech assistants, is friendly, caring and capable. The highly trained and knowledgeable therapist who has been working with me, Mike, and his intern assistant, Emily, quickly identified the muscle groups that need to be strengthened for my recovery, and as they have developed exercises for me and guided me to do them correctly, explained what each exercise is meant to achieve. I still need several more weeks of therapy, but the progress I have made so far under the careful guidance of the PTA staff is truly remarkable. If you or anyone you know is ever in need of the very best physical therapy, you don't have to look any further than PTA.

I also sent my hubby here for a consult, but they didnt feel like he needed therapy, just gave him a few exercises and sent him on his way. I think they are very honest in that sense. I, Mary, have used PTA (Whitefish Stage Road) three times (over 30 treatments) All treatments have helped me immensely in relieving pain from a car accident and then this past month have been treated by PTA for nerve pain in arm. Mike and Kalani worked with my neck and shoulders to relieve headaches from a car accident and reduced the nerve tingling tremendously. I am especially grateful to them for giving me exercises and things I can do to help myself and reduce reoccurrences of neck and shoulder pain. Mike and Kalani also taught me about nerve flossing, which was extremely helpful. They are very knowledgeable. The staff and everyone at PTA was professional and friendly. My experience with them was very productive. They were always on time and knew exactly what I needed to reduce my symptoms. I liked working with Mike and Kalani and I would definitely recommend them to everyone who is dealing with pain issues because of an accident or just "getting older".

The staff at PTA Kalispell is the best. They are always friendly and encouraging. I have been working with Marcus Rowen for lateral epicondylitis in my elbow and tension headaches in my neck and shoulders. Mark is an exceptional PT. Not only does he have the knowledge and experience to treat and resolve the physical issues but he's always friendly and has a smile. He makes you feel like he's happy to see you and he makes the work less tedious with his enjoyable conversation. Now that I am ready to complete my physical therapy I am happy but also a little sad because I feel I'm losing a friend at the same time. I think everyone at PTA always goes above and beyond here to help people and they really genuinely care about the person they are treating. If I could give them ten stars I would.
