Went in initially because I was experiencing pain in my forearm, left over from a childhood injury. Dr. Ficsher corrected that quickly with acupuncture, and ended up helping me correct my foot and back posture too. Would definitely recommend to anyone needing physical therapy.

In my twenty years in Helena I have visited four different PT's, all of them have been good and I have nothing bad to say about them. There is a difference with Fischer PT that makes them stand out. The staff is very friendly and they work as a team. Matt handled most of my therapy and I felt he treated more than just the physical. Early in he instilled the importance of a positive attitude. Every time I left the office I felt refreshed and better than when I came in. This is a great place run by great people. Matt is very driven to improve not only his business but his methods and is passionate about his work. I highly recommend this place.

Writing comments about my experience at FPT would have to read like a love letter. What I learned and gained from being a client there goes way beyond just the physical. Surgery restored my knee -- FPT restored my vitality and hope. To walk in the door is to enter an ambiance of wellness which pervades the entire clinic. Everyperson working there is focused on one thing and that is the comfort and well being of the client. No one is rushing and no one appears to be distracted. That alone helps generate wellness of mind and body, as of course, as the actual therapy. But the therapy itself is just part of the gift. Presence is invaluable and I felt my therapist was always completely present to my situation - not concerned about the last client or worried about the next one. She was gently focused on what needed to be done physically which was critically important to my healing. And she was also teaching me ideas and techniques to use for enhancing the quality of my life into the future. Truly, a healer. Restoring the flexibility of my knee and increasing my sense of balance were huge gifts as was a restored sense of life and livingness. Thank you,Wellness One.

I have seen a few different physical therapists over the past several years and, while each helped in some way, nobody has provided the kind of relief that FPT has. I work with Bobbie, and she's amazing. She is sensitive, no-nonsense, and highly skilled. Her knowledge, hands-on work, and the exercises she prescribes have completely changed my body and the chronic pain I've dealt with for years. Really excited to continue working with her and keep making progress.

Best physical therapy I've experienced (I've been to three other physical therapists). The staff is very effective, knowledgeable, and compassionate. An integrated, whole body approach is practiced. The therapists explain the treatment process thoroughly in a very understandable way, and are very receptive to patient input. I found the therapists to be very positive, motivating, and patient. Once my therapy is finished, I will miss not going to therapy, but I am confident that I have the knowledge to continue the therapy on my own :)

I stumbled upon Fischer PT by accident after I was injured in an ATV accident that hyper extended both of my knees. I had been referred elsewhere in town but upon calling the 'Other Place' and being treated very rudely over the phone, I started looking for some where else. When I made contact with Fisher, the receptionist (Katie) was VERY polite and helpful. They went above and beyond to work with me (my case was work comp related). My knees are well on their way to healing thanks to Chelsea Harper. I live a pretty active life style and am bound to get hurt again in the future, and I know that I will go back to Fischer if I do!

I had neck surgery last September 2015 and after my check up this past February 2016 I was still in so much pain so my Doctor said it was time for PT. I was nervous because a different physical therapist (different company) I was not comfortable with didn't feel like they were there for me and turned me off to PT but I knew I didnt have a choice so I asked around for other options and a friend told me about Fischer Physical Therapy and it was the best choice I ever made. I have only been going for a few weeks and I feel amazing. Chelsea is amazing she works on my neck problem and also any other problems I am having also explains everything thing she is doing and why she is doing it. I get excited when I know it's PT day cause I know she is going to make me feel better. I would recommend Fischer Physical Therapy to anyone a big plus is how friendly the staff is. Worked with Bobbi for a couple months to address pinched nerves in my neck. I have had previous experience with PT's in town and never really felt it was successful. It was completely successfully with Bobbi. She knows her business and finds ways to get you....or me.... in this instance...to do what is needed to make progress. And that may be the most difficult part of making PT effective. I learned a lot, have resolved the problem to a point that I didn't frankly think possible and am more than satisfied with her efforts. Can't recommend her enough.......

Was able to get my visiting mother in to see a PT within days of calling. Reception area, and personnel are very welcoming, and helpful. Chelsea spent time to understand my Mom's history, and current condition and then followed with a clear explanation of her preliminary assessment, and recommendations. As leaving, Kelly stopped me to discuss Medicare options/concerns. Truly couldn't have asked for a better experience over all. I was a patient of Bobbi's years ago, and have always referred friends to Fischer PT in times of need. The only negative I can think of is that I was hoping, just by virtue of having the same last name, to receive a special rate. Imagine my disappointment when I when I was required to pay for their service. :) Thank you Fischer PT.

In October, 2018, I injured my left knee. It wasn't healing so my primary physician, Erin Kuntzweiler sent me to Helena Orthopedic Clinic where I was told, that both my knees may need to be replaced. In preparation of what sounded like eminent surgery, Dr. Michelotti wanted to refer me to physical therapy to strengthen the muscles around my knees and they also suggested that a significant weight loss would be in my best interest. He asked if I had a preference in physical therapists and I told him I would like to see Matthew Fischer. I had seen Matthew many years before, after a foot injury and surgery. I had been seeing another physical therapist for about (6) months with no improvement and had been referred to Matthew. Matthew sure didn't cut me any slack and I'm so very glad he didn't! He made me know that the only way I was going to heal or improve was by following his instructions and putting in the effort. He gave me many tools (exercises) which have helped me throughout all these years, so when asked where I wanted to go this time, it wasn't even a question. This time, I worked with Matthew and Carley, they were beyond awesome! They are very friendly professionals and they know their job well. The difference in my knees is remarkable, they managed the pain, gave me plenty of tools (exercises) and explained the mechanics behind everything. Both Matthew and Carley became these amazing motivators! They were motivating me to work on my knees but unbeknown to them, that motivation extended into other areas of my personal health. I use those tools (exercises) daily, I've lost 78 pounds, and will be having my knees re-evaluated because of the significant improvement. I looked forward to going to my appointments and once done, I was glad to be better but sad to be leaving Matthew, Carley and the rest of the staff. Thank you for everything you did to help me, you are all very appreciated!

When I first started at Fischer Physical Therapy I had been nearly immobile and in intense pain for almost six months due to 2 bulging lumbar discs. Fischer Physical Therapy is one of the best facility’s I have worked with. My daughter and I are current patients of Fischer . We are seeing fantastic results from our therapy sessions. The reason I like Fischer is because all of the therapist’s treat your injury with patience and concern for the injury. They also consider and evaluate how that injury affects other parts of the body and treat the affected areas if needed. All the staff at Fischer treat all customers as if they were family. The office has a very positive environment which is important for patient progression. I would not go to any other Physical Therapy Facility. I would give Fischer Physical Therapy a 5 star rating.
