I could not be happier with the care I have received from Matt Schweitzer and all the staff at Alpine Physical Therapy. After a recent knee injury that was pretty severe, Matt helped me strengthen my knee both before and after surgery. I cannot recommend pre-hab more strongly. I was able to build muscle mass and strength prior to losing it all in the initial weeks after surgery. It has been easier to build up strength post-operatively as a result of our prior work, and I honestly believe my recovery would have been more difficult if we had not put in the work to strengthen the knee and surrounding muscles before surgery. Matt is extremely knowledgeable. He will often make a seemingly minor adjustment to my exercise program that pays off in huge progress/results within weeks. His examinations of the joint are thorough and to watch him diagnose what is going on in the musculature of the knee (and quad, and hamstring, etc.) and how that leads to various symptoms in my gait and overall strength has been enlightening. He is also skilled in dry needling which has resulted in dramatic (and instant) improvements over the course of my care. I was skeptical of the benefits at first, but it is absolutely worth it, if you're on the fence! We are still in the process of recovery, but I am eternally grateful to have found such a talented, courteous, and knowledgeable team at Alpine Physical Therapy - Downtown.

Great experience! The therapist was extremely knowledgable about my situation and even determined that there may be other issues. He gave me exercises for this situation and also helped with scar tissue from a previous surgery. Very thorough!!

The facility is in the same building as The Peak Downtown, which is great for those of us who belong to The Peak. Reception and therapy staff are highly professional and accommodating to patients' schedules and needs. I have been very pleased with the level of expertise. (My physical therapist is Matt Schweitzer.) I plan to continue with Alpine Downtown as I prepare for total knee replacement. I am confident that Matt will guide me through recovery.
