I saw Dr. Anderson as a last stop before two major spinal surgeries. I have lived with chronic pain for at least three decades and have had many different kinds of treatments, including other PT. Midwest Physical Therapy is the first place I’ve been where they looked at the whole picture. After just a few weeks of PT I am now able to walk up and down stairs unaided for the first time in over a year. I know I need to follow the directions and exercises and it will be hard work but I can see results and am happy to put the effort in to avoid surgery. Dr. Anderson and Mr. Anderson truly care about the well-being of the patient and really know what they are doing! I strongly recommend Midwest Physical Therapy to anyone, especially if you feel you’ve tried everything and nothing has truly helped. They can help.

I had a great experience with Midwest Physical Therapy. Caleb is awesome and once in a while I received 2:1 attention with his dad, Kim who was also great. They helped me speed up my plantar recovery and get me back on the running trail. I highly recommend them!

I have had physical therapy many times in the past. Some experiences were ok and some not. My Pain doctor recently referred me to Midwest Physical Therapy, LLC at 2801 Wayzata Blvd So and this time, it is completely different. My treatment plan is individualized to me and not just a 'Boiler Plate' as I've had in the past. Often physical therapists just focus on the exercise. Kim Anderson @ Midwest Physical Therapy noticed immediately that there was still a mechanical problem and started the process right away to find treatment. I had surgery last December and have been in great pain since. Past experiences with other therapists have resulted in greater pain afterwards as there were other undiagnosed issues and therapy worsened my condition. I drive a distance now and it is worth it. I recommend not basing your decision for a therapist just on distance. Glad I didn't.

Going to see Caleb when I started having some hip pain while running was the single best elective decision I have ever made for my health. I wasn't sure whether I needed to see someone, so I called on a referral from a coworker to see if I could just go in and ask some questions. Caleb heard me out, tested me, and pinpointed the issue in no time, which has turned into a management strategy that I will maintain for the rest of my life. I thought I would have to taper back the amount of running I do, but Caleb gave me exercises to do in parallel with a heavy running schedule, which has allowed me to do what I love while staying healthy. These guys are very transparent with treatment plans and pricing, they're very flexible, super fun to work with, and extremely compassionate for their patients. They're not just clinicians, they're teammates!

Caleb and Kim are simply amazing! I had given up on physical therapy after I actually injured myself doing exercises assigned from a large institutional provider. I had to go back to a doctor enduring two weeks in nerve pain to get an order to fix the problem. I was lucky to find this group who were co-located with a clinic my wife already attended. These folks know how to address the problem ordered and look for additional root causes. They are gentle and friendly, but strong and capable. Even difficult problems are interesting to them! Caleb really "Dr. Gregory House"-ed a problem of mine that an occupational therapist assigned by an orthopaedic doctor also missed about my problem. The problem was confirmed by the orthopaedic group with several visits spread over months and 2 expensive imaging/sensing procedures. Caleb simply remembered the possibility of the rare pathology and confirmed all its exact conditions in my body! This is merely the good that they have done for me. My wife's problems are more acute, long-term, and potentially serious. They are addressing these handily as well!

I came to Caleb dreading the thought that I may need back surgery to improve the quality of my life. With Caleb’s hands on approach and cutting edge philosophy, that is no longer an option. He worked diligently to understand the underlying causes of my injuries and pain. I trust his expertise and did what he asked of me. My family thanks him for improving not only my health but how I can function at home as a mother and wife.

Caleb and Kim are miracle workers! I️ was having a ton of foot pain leading into the week before the TC 10 mile. They were able to fit me in a couple of times that week and gave me exercises to do at home. I️ went from not even being able to run 2 min without pain that’d make me stop running all together to running the 10 mile in under 70 min 6 Days later pain free. I️ am so thankful for both of their help! It is not just a quick fix either, they helped me get to the root of the problem and I️ am still pain free today!

My nightmare started January 2012. I had a full left knee replacement. I knew something was not right during subsequent follow-up visits with the surgeon. My left leg was twice the size of my right leg, and it was red like a tomato. I wasn't able to have therapy like the other people that had the same surgery. Attempts at traditional therapy were too painful, and the results were dismal. My leg was like that for about ten to twelve months. The pain was out of this world. The surgery itself was good, but the Doctor had no explanation as to my ongoing condition. In October 2012 the doctor suggested that it may be the "Best" it would get, and he offered no recourse, nor did he suggest a specialist to get a second opinion. I was left on my own. For the next 6 months I was in the hands of an orthopedic specialist very bright in the areas of difficult knee replacements. After ongoing testing, x-rays, mri's, bloodwork, etc. he could not find anything conclusive and was very perplexed. He suggested I go to the Mayo Clinic. For the next several months I went through all kind of tests and saw many different doctors/specialists. Most of those tests were very painful, and still, no one could pinpoint my condition, and why I could not return to a normal life. I'd lost my job and could not work because of the situation. Then in October 2014 I had to have a full left hip replacement. That helped a little, but the pain and swelling still persisted. Finally in 2016, I went to see Dr. Seager at Advanced Spine and Pain Clinic. I had many, many injections but the pain and swelling just kept on persisting. He determined that I suffered from Regional Pain Syndrome". Then Dr. Thorson, partner of Dr. Seager, tried many different injections but I only got a little of relief and the pain and swelling came back short time after these painful treatments. He suggested that if I were willing to try some aggressive therapy, he knew someone that would be able to help me. At first he wanted to install a spinal stimulator. I said I want to try the therapy first. He set up an appointment with Caleb Anderson who is a Dr. of physical therapy. From the first time I met up with Caleb I had a very strong feeling that he would be able to help me, and most certainly, he was my last hope. After almost 5 years of suffering, I had almost lost hope, but I just never gave up. Many times when I was feeling low and depressed, Caleb would remind me that there would be times when I might take steps backwards but he had a host of different things for solutions to turn things around. Over the course of the past few months, I am able to function much better. My attitude has improved, and at last I have hope for a better future. I am able to stay in bed and sleep for an extended period of time, unlike the last 4+ years with little or no sleep at all. I am not using pain medication to the same degree that I was accustomed to. I look forward to the therapy that Caleb offers and know that it is making a difference. None of this was offered to me prior to meeting him. Overall I feel improvement, and can now say that I think my leg is getting better. Caleb has been remarkable with his optimism, aggressive therapies, and gentle nature. It feels good that I now have more, more hope, thanks to Caleb. My wife and I are so grateful for Caleb's knowledge and willingness to work with me, for him to see what's working for me and what doesn't. Especially how much he really cares for me and for people. He never let's me give up. I strongly recommend anyone that needs a GREAT Therapist to go see him. I have to travel quite a distance for my twice/week visits, but it is worth it. He is a GREAT and CARING person. Thank You Caleb for what you have done for me so far, I have big hope again. Also, my wife appreciates the fact that I am able to stay in bed as much as I am able to now.

Great experience rehabbing a broken ankle. Caleb saved me from needing surgery.

I've been going to Caleb for years for the various injuries I've had. He helped he me recover from my 2 achilles that were almost torn. I've been running on them for last few years with hardly no issue. I have literally seen over 50 PTs in the last 15 years and Caleb is by far the best. Very knowledgeable about every injury that I have had. I've been recommending Caleb to family and friends for years.

I finally found a physical therapist that KNOWS what they're talking about! So happy with the exercises & therapy approaches they have developed for me! Finally, some true pain relief! I've wasted time in the past at MAPS pain clinic, with NO RESULTS & increased pain- NEVER AGAIN! I only HIGHLY recommend Midwest PT now! If you're serious about healing your body instead of wasting your time with worthless injections & inadequate therapies- GO TO MIDWEST PT! Caleb & his father are SO knowledgeable, detailed & experienced, the staff are all so friendly & welcoming. Scheduling is always a breeze. I love the convenient location, right off of 394 & Penn exit, super easy to stop at on my way. If you're suffering from chronic pain & have found no relief- stop in Midwest Physical Therapy! I'm so grateful I found them!

I've had chronic pain from cervical fusion surgery from 5 years ago. Caleb, Kim and Summer are a fantastic team! They have worked feverishly to try and reduce that pain and get me back in shape. While that has not totally been the case, they have helped the issue considerably and have a never give up attitude!! Thanks to Midwest PT!!

Caleb got me on my way to recovery. I'm a 77 year old guy who has had two complete knee replacements and then a third surgery on my knee cap (all on the same knee). I've had physical therapy both at home and outpatient after each surgery. PT had been somewhat helpful in the past. I was put though a set of standard PT exercises. However, Caleb took the time and interest to observe carefully what was causing me pain, loss of flexibility, and loss of strength. He then worked with me to address those issues and gave me a set of exercises to continue after my insurance coverage ended. I'm back biking, flexibility has returned, and I'm rebuilding strength. I highly recommend Caleb to anyone needing and wanting personal physical therapy help.
