I sprained my ankle at 7 months pregnant and I wasn't getting better after a month in a brace. I was really concerned that I would have a newborn and be unable to carry her around due to my unstable leg! My podiatrist recommended physical therapy but I was skeptical as my ankle wasn't responding to any of the ABC exercises that he prescribed (where you write the ABC's with your foot to help strengthen the ankle). So I went to physical therapy and LITERALLY IN 3 VISITS I was out of the ankle brace and walking on my ankle. It was a miracle! Heidi and Kathy and Kayla were so knowledgeable and patient with me and I credit their work with being able to move at 8 1/2 months to our new house with stairs (the timing was bad, but we did it!)! They also diagnosed and treated my weak hip issues to prevent me from re-injuring myself in the future. I also think this extra therapy helped me to give birth naturally instead of going the c-section route that the majority of my family does. I can't say enough good things about these guys, they gave me my mobility and my life back! :)

I had a skiing accident and blew out my knee which required PT both before and after my surgery. The reason I chose Metamora Physical Therapy was because they were close to home and I could not be happier with my experience. They helped me prepare for my surgery as well as regain my strength post op. I am a bit of an overachiever and wanted to return to my previous activity level as soon as possible. At times I was frustrated and they gave me the encouragement I needed and they also gave me the guidance I needed to continue to increase my activity without pushing to hard. I want to thank Kathy, Heidi and Kayla for their patience and the professional treatment they provided. With their help I am on my way to be back on my skis this winter!

Metamora physical therapy was referred by a friend when I complained of plantar fasciitis. Having dealt with this before, I had it in my head that, although it’ll take 6 months, I know I can get rid of it on my own. But I figured I’d give it a try. After just 8 visits, I was running short distances again with very little to no pain. Kathy was able to help me understand exactly what was going on and provide helpful suggestions as to how prevent future occurrences. I’ll admit, I wasn’t a fan about doing PT twice a week, but I began to look forward to my visits, as it felt like it became an opportunity to hang and chat with my friends. Everyone there is very friendly. I even took note of other clients who walked in and seemed genuinely happy to be there. Overall a very pleasant experience all around.

I did not have the luxury to stay home and heal, because I was not sure that car insurance would pay my wages and I'm a single mom, nurse. I'm very selective when it comes to my family's health needs. There are endless choices for physical therapists out there, but I wanted someone who is qualified, knowledgable, caring and has lots of experience. If you do too, then this is the place to be. Kathy really listens to you and explains the treatment that she will perform. It is a great atmosphere, so clean and brand new. You will be at ease instantly. Both therapists are warm, welcoming and positive. Love this place!

"Kathy is a great physical therapist. A back surgeon told me, after looking at my x-rays, that I needed surgery. I went to see Kathy and she suggested trying physical therapy before considering back surgery. She set up a physical therapy plan for me, along with exercise. After about 6 weeks, I felt so much better and was glad I didn't agree to have surgery. Thank you, Kathy!"

Hello, My experience with Metamora Physical Therapy was nothing but positive! When I started out-patient physical therapy following long stay in the hospital I was using walker and depended on oxygen 24/7. Six weeks later walking on my own, driving and back to work!
