I've been going to peak for a few months now. 1st therapist I worked with (Ming) was awesome, she showed me how off balance the muscles around my lower back were which is definitely part of my problem. Showed me basic exercises & proper form to perform them when at home. She was excellent, really knows her stuff.
My 2nd physical therapist I've had the pleasure to work with is (Sarah). She is extremely knowledgable & showed me a few extra thing while correcting some form problems I was having with the exercises I was doing everyday.
If all the above wasn't enough to impress, then keep reading. Last night I was having pain due to a different problem that I have. I was up half the night dealing with the pain associated from this problem. I finally fell asleep & was supposed to be a PT at 7:30am, I awoke at 7:40am when the phone was ringing. It was the lady from the front desk of Peak asking if I was coming. I told her I'm sorry, had a bad night I'll be there in 15minutes. She said take your time, we have an opening at 9:30am, you can come then if you want. I arrived at 9:20am waited a couple minutes & Sarah came into the waiting room & we made our way into the setup area. I told her about the night before, the symptoms I was having & without hesitation she took my blood pressure, called my doctors & what I was taking lightly ended up in the end being a pharmaceutical mistake in the end. Thank you Sarah for being so vigilant, with Christmas in 4 days, figuring this out definitely saved the holiday from having to deal with unnecessary pain. I'll be back in after the new year to keep getting my lower back feeling better & if your wondering, yes the back pain is still there but my right leg hasn't given out making me fall since I started. That's a huge bonus worth all the effort.
Merry Christmas everyone & have a happy New Year.
