After 3+ years, 3 physical therapists and at least 4 orthopedists, I had just about given up hope that someone knew how to relieve the pain in my hips due to torn tendons when a friend referred me to this facility. Do not hesitate to consult with the professionals at Spine and Sports Rehabilitation Center if you want to feel better, move better, and improve your quality of life. After only 2 weeks of PT there, I had about 30% less pain, and though it took a while, I now have hips that are pain free. Why are they different? One, the evaluation is thorough. Two, the PT LISTENS to how you feel; elicits your comments about how you are functioning and gives very good feedback about how you are progressing. Three, there is ongoing assessment of your situation and progress. I felt encouraged not criticized. Four, I was taught how to exercise and move after I left PT. Five, there is excellent access to the therapist. All questions are welcome and I was not made to feel as if I were not doing a good job. Six, if something wasn't working for me, the therapist just tried something else. If the treatment wasn't as effective, as expected, I was referred back to my orthopedist for a review. And, if a consult was needed with a physician, the therapist was more than willing to do it. My therapist even consulted with the gym I was attending to make sure the exercises there were going to be helpful for my condition. I have sent several friends to this Center and they have been happy with their treatment there as well. The therapist who has treated me (as is one other who helped me) was professional, knowledgeable, compassionate, patient, thoroughly competent , flexible, and talented. The facility is clean and organized, and the wait time is almost nil. I have also dealt with other staff, such as receptionist, PT assistant and billing office. On all levels, everyone was been friendly and helpful. Be kind to yourself and give this facility a try.
