I had a sore back so I made an appointment. Spent less than 10 minutes with NP and he told me to see PT and come back in four weeks. No X-rays, no diagnosis, no help. I was charged $538!! They said it was an extended visit (10 minutes) What a business. Terrible!

Dr. Roussel was wonderful. He reset my broken toe with no pain (numbed it first) and it's now straight as an arrow. Highly recommend!

I received great care here. I felt cared about and listened to. The receptionists always welcomed me and remembered me. Cheerful smiles and kindness from everyone every time I came in and pt that was not boring or repetitive. I would absolutely recommend coming here for your physical therapy needs.

Sarah is an amazing physical therapist. She's attentive, kind and knowledgeable. I would have a hard time seeing anyone else.

I have recently started going to MMI and have an amazing experience every time, from the moment I walk in to the doors. The receptionists are very nice, as are all of the nurses and physicians I have seen and spoken with.

I called on the morning of 3/21/17 to cancel an appointment that I had for later on that afternoon. The lady I spoke to rescheduled my appointment for a day in April. I got an email at 3:40 on 3/22/17 telling me how I "missed" my appointment. I called and told the girl who answered the phone answered the phone about my email. She proceeded to tell me that I was going to be charged $35.00 for a missed appointment. I asked to speak to the manager. I explained to her that I cancelled my appointment early in the morning the day of my appointment and after explaining why I cancelled, she waived the fee. I proceeded to cancel my next appointment and won't be going back. My very first appointment I had in January I had to miss at the last minute because my dog passed away unexpectedly and they billed me for that....I paid it, as I didn't want to argue with them......

Dr.Berman and staff is one of the best doctors I've had. I always feel welcomed when I come in for my appointments. I never once have waited long for my appoinyments. Dr.Berman always sits down and has a conversation with me and truly tries to help me treat my chronic pain and back pain. I don't feel like just a number to him. He is patient and respectful, his nurse is amazing. I've seen so many doctors in the past 6 years and dr.berman and the MMI staff is the best!! I recommend them to everyone I know who also has back and chronic pain issues.

I would give them a 5 star BUT what in the world is going on with the long hold times for scheduling!!?? It is a nightmare trying to schedule an appointment now. My daughter is a frequent flyer (sports) and now I am a patient. It seems once the cross over happened from MMI to centers of ortho, the ability to get an appointment has gone way down hill. I have had a positive experience with all the docs and PA's, but waiting on hold for literally 48 minutes to speak to someone to schedule an appointment is quite ridiculous. The least amount of time I have had to wait on hold lately has been 15 minutes and that was at 0800. My doctor's office even tried to assist by holding, and they were on hold as a doctor's office for 20 minutes.

I broke my ankle while on vacation in Tennessee in June. I needed to follow up with an orthopedist, but was not scheduled to return to Maryland for another week and a half. I wasn't sure if I needed to come back early, so I was told by the office staff that I could overnight my X-rays to them for a doctor to review. It was a 90 minute round trip to get the X-rays and $40 to overnight them. I called the office several times over the next few days and finally got a call back, but they said they didn't have the X-rays. Someone in the office signed for them, but no one had any idea where they were. A few days later, after they failed to find the films, I gave up. I got a 2nd copy of the X-rays. By this time, I was due back in Maryland, so I took the 2nd set with me to my first appointment. They reviewed the film and wanted a new X-ray to see how the healing was progressing. While I was waiting to be taken to X-ray, a technician came in to look at my ankle. He spent a few minutes before someone came into the exam room and told the technician he was in the wrong room! Got the updated X-ray without further issues. They made no changes to my treatment, I was already in a boot, and scheduled a follow up appointment for 4 weeks. At the follow up they took another X-ray, made no changes to my treatment, and scheduled another follow up for 3 weeks. The boot was heavy and hot and caused a rash on my leg so I called the office before I was due for my follow up. When they didn't call me back this time, I cancelled my follow up appointment and went elsewhere for treatment. They called me today and left a message asking what I want them to do with my X-rays from June. They said if they didn't hear back from me they would discard them. Since they returned the X-rays I took to my first visit, these must be the films that I overnighted back in June! Never seen such an unprofessional, disorganized practice!

I wish I could leave less than one star. Wrong diagnosis on my knee. Guess that's what happens when a PA reads an MRI rather than a doctor. Had to get a second opinion and I'm glad I did. To add insult to injury, they sent the bills to an old address then turned my account over to collections and charged me interest. When I inquired as to why they sent the bills to my old address, they said that I went into their patient portal and changed my address back to the old. Unbelievable. The bottom line is they are horrible and my family will never set foot in that dump again.

While everyone on staff has been lovely when I can reach them, the hold times when calling is really long. No matter when I call I'm on hold for 3-4 minutes waiting to speak with someone. I came because I've been having pack pain for 7 months. Got an xray immediately, doctor requested an MRI, my insurance denied it and requested a peer to peer review. And I have been waiting for direction for 2 weeks now. Every time I call for an update on the review, I get transferred to someone's voice mail and I never get a call back. Since this is taking so long I requested additional pain medication to help with the pain until the review happens, and that has also been on hold for almost a week. Every time I call and ask about that I'm told "oh, a note was sent to the doctor, they will call you with an update". Well i'm out of medicine and I'm still waiting for my call back. Everyone is nice when you talk to them, but I feel like I can't get help. Going to get a referral for a different specialist because I can hardly walk, but I guess I don't need that MRI or pain medicine. I had really gotten my hopes up after speaking with the doctor too. She was lovely and knowledgeable, but I've been ghosted after my insurance became difficult.

Dr Laura Copaken is a miracle worker !! I believe if it wasn't for her I would have lost my right leg and maybe my life....I've had nothing but wonderful experiences since I've been going there for the last 5 years !! I WILL NOT GO ANYWHERE ELSE
