I've been seeing Ellie at Bodywise for almost a year, due to multiple chronic physical issues I have. Over that time, we have worked on my neck, back, shoulders, arms, hips, and knees. Seriously, I'm a mess. But going to Bodywise has increased my strength and reduced my pain, and has allowed me to spring back more quickly when I get overtired or overworked. Ellie is fantastic to work with. She's incredibly knowledgeable, patient, and always willing to explain what she is doing and what the benefits are. Her treatment plans are clear and easy to follow, with modifications specifically for my needs. When she gives me home exercises, I always get printed pictures and rep information, so I don't have to remember on my own. I am very comfortable with the amount of time she spends with me during each appointment. I feel like she has my best interests at heart, always mindful of my pain and comfort levels. When I'm there, I feel like part of the family.
My current therapy aide is Alyson, and she's great. Always smiling, always encouraging. She's the cheerleader you want when you're dealing with physical therapy exercises that might be challenging or uncomfortable. She also does not hesitate to demonstrate exercises if you need that.
Hope at the front desk is fantastic and always has a smile for you. If you need questions answered or appointments scheduled, she works with you like you are the only client she has. You get her direct attention and she works magic to get you what you need.
I saw Lacie once for massage therapy, and I enjoyed the experience. I look forward to going again. I have NOT had accupuncture or Bowen at BWT, although I know they offer both. My husband sees Vicky (at my suggestion) and he's very satisfied with his progress on his ankle injury. My father is scheduled to start PT at Bodywise at the end of this month (also at my recommendation).
The facility is clean and bright, with plenty of space to do your exercises. Parking is good because they have spaces dedicated just to Bodywise, so if you are injured you don't have to walk far.
The ONLY negative I have about Bodywise Physical Therapy is that getting appointments can be difficult. The Physical Therapists are great, so they are in demand. When you call to make your evaluation appointment, make sure to get follow-up appointments scheduled (which Hope encourages people to do), so you can get your preferred day and time.
