Shaping up

The staff is very pleasant and friendly. The 1 on 1 Care is wonderful. However, it is surprising to me that the facility has not been updated since it was started. The changing room is small and can only accommodate two people at a time. There is absolutely no privacy for dressing and undressing or showering. Also, the “privacy curtain “ is minimal at best and it surprises me that even the clients don’t attempt to ensure that it is closed. For a “Specialty “ facility that has been in business for so long, I would expect there to be some updates made. At least for privacy, offer dry towels, or have a dry area to change clothes. Having the toilet, shower, changing area all in one, makes it impossible to put on dry clothes after pool therapy. But, overlooking the issue of the changing room , the care and therapy is Excellent and exceeds most therapies I have experienced.

Physical therapy at AquaCare is another name for having your own personal trainer. If it were not so strenuous I might also add pampered. But it's not a spa. You go there to work and the staff makes sure you work on exactly what troubles you. Sure they push, but only as far as you are ready to go. And unlike working out in a big, noisy gym, their facility is clean, quiet, and never crowded. I could never say enough about the staff. From the initial evaluation by Maureen, my exercise guru, Chip, got me started on exercises there and ones I could comfortably do at home between sessions. Mattie and the other coaches are all extremely well qualified, yet cheerful and encouraging throughout the experience. Would I recommend Acqu-Care to a friend? You bet I would! Mary Dolan Easton

I am glad I chose Aquacare and look forward to working further with them to get the most I can "get" from my new knee.

My therapists were Cassie, Shelby and Mattie and they were so understanding of my goals and Cassie formulated the best therapy plan that suited my specific needs. High Five to Aquacare in Easton! I've been to two other physical therapy centers over the last 10 years for various issues (2 auto accidents, a neck injury, and a back injury) and Aquacare in Easton is the best by far!! Thanks especially to Jane, she is awesome, very professional, incredibly knowledgeable, experienced, and so easy to work with. The techs there are all good, everyone is very pleasant to work with, the other therapists working with their patients are very good and everyone who works there is obviously high quality. The techs and therapists as well as admin people are easy to work with. The therapists do a great job of listening to you and being cognizant of what you are working on. The techs are such a help with being sure you are performing each exercise correctly. Every one is eager to help you and have no problem explaining an exercise or why you are doing it. Maureen Gordon, a specialist in dizziness and vertigo issues at Aquacare Physical Therapy, has treated me for episodes of BPPV (benign positional paroxysmal vertigo) and successfully stopped it each time. Unfortunately, BPPV can return, but I am so relieved to know I can turn to Maureen to fix it for me. She is extremely knowledgeable and puts one at ease with her competent manner and thoughtful consideration of one's specific situation. This is the best therapy. The therapists are very caring. Most of all they get it that you have to go slow and encourage you to take smaller movements.This has allowed me to continue the therapy without much pain. After only 3 visits I believe I'm seeing slight improvement.
