Anna Herling

Danielle is fantastic. Not only did she give knowledgable tips on strength training, she taught it well with a focus on injury prevention. Her training has definitely made me stronger and I can't recommend her enough.

Caity Gildart

I was referred to Danielle for chronic hip and low back pain. At our first meeting she really took the time to listen and work through my history. After physical therapy and now strength sessions I am stronger, pain free, and back to my regular running and strength training. She has also given me the tools I need to be able to continue working on my own time. I would highly recommend Danielle!

Laura Krantz

I highly recommend Danielle as a running coach. She coached me remotely and it was the guidance I needed to get over the physical/psychological aftermath of an injury. She was attentive and thoughtful in crafting my workouts and I improved so much during the months I worked with her. She was flexible and understanding while at the same time challenging me to push myself just enough. You don't need to be anywhere near a professional athlete to benefit from professional coaching. It's so helpful.

Danielle is bar none the BEST physical therapist/sports rehab professional I have ever worked with. She is informative, kind, patient, and will also push you to work hard! Her approach is always comprehensive, incorporating strength, stability, balance, stretching, etc... I always felt I was in good hands! Danielle helped me recover from back injury as well as alleviating and preventing plantar faciitis. I cannot recommend her enough, she is truly wonderful!

Elizabeth Gersh Pollio

I started seeing Danielle after an ankle injury and she helped me to quickly and safely get back on my feet. She didn't just make sure I got back to day to day activities, but she also worked with me to start running again. She even gave me a few tips to improve my running to help prevent injury, as well as worked with me on building back my strength. After running my first half marathon, I had a consultation with Danielle to discuss whether or not I could run a marathon. I had contemplated signing up, but had no idea where to even begin. Danielle sees the ability to achieve major goals in everyone and she talked me through everything I would need to do to get marathon ready. She was the biggest supporter and fully believed in me. Thanks to Danielle's belief, encouragement, and a lot of guidance, I am currently 1 year post-injury and training for my first marathon! Danielle is such a pleasure to work with and a joy to be around, so much so that I actually missed going to physical therapy once I graduated! I cannot recommend Danielle highly enough and I am certain you will not regret working with her!

As somebody who has had multiple surgeries and extensive PT I can say Daniel is the best physical therapist I have ever had. She definitely deserves a raise @herboss

Daniel Adamietz

Danielle is an amazing PT and coach. She took me from post surgical and barely able to walk to running pain free, lifting heavier, and performing better in any athletic activity. She is talented and uses that to be dedicated to her patients and athletes. I am grateful to have met her and will be forever thankful for the work she guided me through. She is the reason I just completed a 34 mile trail race. If you ever have the opportunity to work with Danielle, take it.

Danielle is truly an exceptional clinician with a high level of expertise in treating the running and endurance population of athletes. I would highly recommend her as your physical therapist!

Giving Danielle 5 stars and writing a review won't do justice in expressing how talented, knowledgable, or passionate she is, or how thankful I am for all that she has done for me as a patient. If you're looking for a physical therapist, Danielle is the one. I started seeing Danielle for my headaches and migraines, and she always managed to put a smile on my face, no matter how bad my day was. She believes in finding the root cause, and she is dedicated to you as an individual. Because of Danielle, I learned (though it took a while) the importance of strength training, and I became stronger, physically and mentally. She's undeniably genuine, supportive, and caring. I knew Danielle before her first half marathon, and she'll tell you that anyone can run. If you've entertained the idea of getting into running or getting back into running, reach out to Danielle. She will meet you at where you are at, give you the guidance, push you to be your best, and never stop believing in you. I have the utmost respect for Danielle, and I know that any one who works with Danielle will soon be singing her praises too :)

Danielle is, by far, one of the smartest and running/PT knowledgeable medical professionals I know. Hate to be injured, but love being in her presence. With her PT adising, teaching, and love, she has taken me across many finish lines. I originally had come to her with some knee/IT band pain. Once it was under control I started to train for my first marathon, and... the other knee and IT band flared up. I came in and she easily assured me it was just a minor bump in the road and she would help get me to that finish line. She worked with me for that next month and I owe a lot of that first marathon finish to her PT expertise and persistence with my injuries. She is patient, kind, intelligent, and most importantly, beyond compassionate for her patients. I would recommend her to any runner, athlete, young student, and more!

I me Dr Kroot, about 3 years ago in a triathlon class ( I went more for the Running part) she presented in Boston Ma. I being running for awhile,(short distance) but needed a little bit more help. After class (an amazing class, to how to warm up, running forms and cool downs) We went for a 5k to see the levels of running of every athlete in the room, her personality, enthusiasm on that day made me feel like a was the best runner in the earth, I left that day, and I signed for my first half Marathon, I called her back and I told her to be my coach, and she did!!!!!. I met her again, she did a thorough evaluations, with videos, form of running etc.. I done multiples races, between 5k, 10k, half and 2 marathons with her coaching, one of then a big mayor NYCM, and looking forward to do more races with her help. Also she is an amazing PT, she keep me strong!!! Dr Danielle Kroot is one of the most caring, amazing human being I know. I wish her the best luck in her personal life, career, and as an athlete. She is always a phone call away for all her patients and athletes. =)

I’ve been working with Danielle for a few years. I started as a result of an injury and I’ve learned so much from her. Once I recovered I joined her strength training group and now she is helping me to achieve my goals. Danielle is a consummate professional. She is knowledgeable and perceptive. She listens and observes closely. She takes her time making a diagnosis and she is thoughtful and detail oriented. I have confidence in her expertise and I trust her judgement. The part that surprised me during treatment was the education I received. I learned what I was doing wrong and she taught me how to prevent injury in the future. I started going to her strength training class and that brought me much closer to my goals. She is passionate about her field and her positive energy is contagious. She is also very mindful of being supportive at a vulnerable time when I was injured. She knows when to support and when to push. While getting injured was not fun, I am grateful I met Danielle. I feel so much more equipped to train and to stay strong and healthy. I highly recommend her as a PT and as a trainer.

Short version: I couldn't move. After seeing Danielle for PT I can move again. Longer version: I’m a recovering athlete and had been experiencing the negative effects of years of high impact collisions on my lower lumbar area. One day I couldn't tie my shoes let alone get on with my training regimen and was immediately referred to Danielle, She didn't know me, didn't have to see me, and certainly didn't have to spend well over an hour with me listening to my tale of woe all while working her magic on getting me back in alignment and leaving the office with tools to strengthen and maintain my newfound mobility. This was the best physical therapy I’ve ever experienced from the best physical therapist I know. And I know a bunch. Believe me, you don’t want to miss an opportunity to turn your pain, discomfort, or injury into an opportunity to have Danielle cheer you on to meet your healing goals all while making the therapy fun.

I’m a high school runner with a history of injuries. I went to Danielle for strength coaching to help prevent injuries and improve my running. I am very happy with the results and the care Danielle invests in her clients. She is a phenomenal coach and I would highly recommend her for all of your coaching and PT needs.

Samuel Foster

Danielle's runners strength workshop was an amazing introduction to building the proper muscles for endurance running. While I've been strength training on and off for a couple of years, Danielle's attention to form, breathing, and fun variety was a fantastic and motivating experience.

Andrew Moran

Dr. Danielle is a phenomenal coach. She is an incredible resource for runners and has the unique ability to be able to help a runner wherever they are at from rehab to performing at a high level. Definitely recommend working with her if you are a runner looking to improve.
