I highly recommend Serc. I’ve been to other PT places that their plan of progression was simply increasing the repetitions or upping the band strength, both therapists I worked with were good about adding additional exercises as I progressed and even targeting different areas as the pain moved up the leg. I’m finally able to run again without pain thanks to the great therapist here.

They placed me with a student doing an internship, which would have been ok, but the intern & the therapist were a little creepy with their "bedside manners'. Everything is done in one large room so if you get a loud talker it's difficult to concentrate. It was not a relaxed, quiet & calm therapeutic place.

No BS, the road to recovery is stressful and a long story short, prior to meeting this team I was not optimistic about my own recovery. My first day, Micah was able to tell me more about why I was having specific issues stemming from my injury and began utilizing treatment methods to correct said issues which immediately gave me a sense of relief. It’s been a trek, but with their help I’ve continuously made improvements and could not have asked for a better experience.

The SERC clinic, Blue Springs North is very well run and is set up for maximum efficiency. Micah Hunt is one of the most knowledgeable Therapists I have ever worked with. He uses a multifaceted treatment plan of Manual Therapy, Therapeutic exercise and Dry needling. These modalities being combined are very effective at pain relief and restoring function. I highly recommend this clinic as it is well equipped to handle the majority of PT needs.

Just completed 3 months of PT post total shoulder replacement at Lenexa SERC. Enjoyed the quiet atmosphere and friendliness of staff. Jenny was very thorough in explaining and demonstrating correct form for ALL exercises. I am very pleased with the care of Stephanie and the other physical therapist that cover for her on off days. Normally, this is one of the biggest mistakes that occurs in the field, someone not completely aware of the patient that they take over when the primary is not there. Communication seems to be a strong point at SERC. Stephanie is a first class therapist and this is the second time I have worked with her. She is attentitive, thourough, and friendly at the same time. The office is very flexible in scheduling, the facitlities are clean and efficient. In both cases last year with a golfer's elbow and with year with a damaged achilles, I am very happy with the staff and the result. gjm

I completed a program at this location with Micah after being in a car accident. I was a collegiate athlete and had very high standards of physical therapy. Once I began working with Micah it became very apparent he and his staff cared not just about helping me get to my previous form, but also help me maintain it after the program was completed. While going through my visits Micah and his staff made such an impact that they were able to also help my wife. She had been in a car accident a year prior and consistent chiropractic appointments. After she went through treatment her back has healed as well. If you have any concerns about physical therapy, rest assured that you are in good hands. I never wish anyone ill-will or injury, but when it happens this is the place to go to recover the right way. If it weren’t for Micah and his team I can say that my wife and I will still be dealing with our ailments. Thank you Micah and team, whom took a terrible situation and made it into a amazing, memorable experience.

I have been going to physical therapy on both of my heels for Achilles tendonitis for two months. First I want to tell you how upbeat, friendly, and knowledgeable all the staff has been. My personal therapist, Rachel, has targeted the therapy I need and my heels have both improved tremendously. I thought I was going to be doomed to walking about 1 hour a day and then become a couch potato the rest of the day because of the pain I experience. We are not done yet but I know with continued therapy I will improve even more. I would give SERC ten stars if I could!!

I first discovered SERC of Lansing Ks when I was referred to them by my Podiatrist. Mike was my PT at that time. I was immediately impressed by his professional approach. He didn't push me too hard, but by the end of my 10, or so, sessions my issue was resolved and he helped me reach my goals. Shortly after that, I had knee replacement surgery at KU, and I knew, immediately, I would choose SERC of Lansing for my PT. Mike's hours were changed and I began working with Stephany. She took over without hesitation and began working with me. There were times when I felt like giving up, but she helped me push through. Today, I am walking without that limp that I had for years, while dealing with my knee issues. All of the PT staff are wonderful and I would definitely recommend SERC of Lansing to anyone. SERC in Lansing is a top-notch physical therapy clinic, there are none better. I have used these therapists for multiple sports related injuries three times in the last three years. Possibly the best observation I can make is that patients are seen in a cheerful open air room where the atmosphere is professional but never stifling or intimidating. Each therapist I have encountered is well trained and maintains their education by routinely attending ongoing education opportunities. In other clinics, the standard is to visit with an actual PT once, perhaps twice, while treatments are administered via a tech. At SERC, you will see an actual licensed physical therapist (or a student of physical therapy nearing graduation who is overseen by a licensed PT) each and every visit. I not only have used SERC myself, I recommend this clinic to anyone needing assistance in healing.

I went to see Jenny after shoulder surgery because I fell off my bike. I saw her 3 times a week, she was very flexible with my schedule. She prints off exercises with instructions for each excel use to do at home in between sessions and makes sure I do them correctly before I leave. When I started with her I felt like a lost cause because I could barely move my arm but she got me to where after 3 1/2 months post surgery I am back on my bike. It is a great atmosphere and everyone is so friendly. I recommend Jenny to everyone

The staff at SERC been extremely helpful and knowledgeable with my concerns. I've noticed a lot of improvement in my knee pain, which is why I went there. My therapist, Stephanie, knows a wide range of stretches and exercises, put into a plan, that I found very useful for what I considered a complicated knee problem. I also have found all of the other staff to be very friendly and supportive, including the therapists Michael, Rachel, and Andrea, even though they were not directly involved with my care. I am very happy with the services I have received from SERC, and will likely return there for any future needs that I may have

Today I finished physical therapy for a broken arm and shoulder. I can now use my arm to do anything I want. The compassionate staff are amazing. There were days I had a lot of pain. Each time I had therapy I always went home pain free. In the beginning I was skeptical and my physician told me I would be 85 percent improved. SERC got me back to 100 percent. I could not be more pleased with my therapy and would not hesitate to recommend them.

I had an unfortunate snowboarding accident resulting in an evulsion and tearing of my tricep. The orthopedic surgeon told me that I could do surgery where they would have to detach and reattach my tricep. He said it might work, but it would take a year to rehab. I prayed and found Micah in Blue Springs who seemed like the first person to actually care after 2 different docs, visiting some other non caring physical therapy facility, and researching a number of options. The staff was so great I actually started looking forward to treatment. It wasn’t easy, but it was worth it. Today, I regularly work out and sometimes forget that I had the accident. It took 4 months to get back what surgery may or may not have restored. I have my full strength back, thank God. Don’t look anywhere else. This team is the best. I don’t wish for anyone to get hurt, but when life happens, go to Serc in Blue Springs N.

The Whole Staff is Great.. I have been a Patient twice now, first time over a year ago, was for workman's comp on my elbow. This time it was after a bad motorcycle wreak in April of this year, KU Med asked me where i wanted my PT to be.. I said SERC in Lansing, Angela was my PT the first time and did great with my elbow, lets see how she does with a multiple injury rehab.. Its been over 4 months and we are down to just my hand.
