I had shoulder surgery March 27,2018 and my surgeon said I would need long term physical therapy. His nurse recommended Pinnacle. I just started with them but, it is top notch. My therapist really knows her stuff and she is super sweet, she makes me work hard but,she makes it fun. In just this short time I have made significant progress. The environment is relaxed and welcoming.

I was excited to not need surgery but wasn't sure how much physical therapy was going to help. Boy was I wrong!! Haley is absolutely amazing! She never gave up and me or my knee. My knee has never felt this great!

Triple A plus. The therapists care about their patients. They stay with you and make sure you are doing it correctly.I hope the higher ups appreciate the quality of these therapists.

I’ve been in PT with Amy for rehab following two back surgeries (last one was a fusion at L4-L5) and a Fibromyalgia diagnosis. I’m also a migraine sufferer. Amy is wonderful! She listens to my symptoms and really targets the areas I need. My therapy has been a combination of massage, stem, heat/ice and exercises to do at home. Honestly, this is the first PT I’ve had in which I actually DO the homework, and it’s been good. The office staff is very friendly, and they’re always forgiving if I need to reschedule or cancel due to migraines, unlike some offices which don’t care. I highly recommend Pinnacle for any PT needs!

I've had PT at two of the area hospitals and another private facility, and although I had results from all of them, I feel that Pinnacle goes above and beyond in customer service, attitude and demeanor of all therapists, and most importantly, skills and knowledge of said practitioners. Most recently, I worked with Amy and received superior care. The results I received have been the most long-lasting and beneficial.

Amy Duckers is amazing. Here is my story about my shoulder surgery. My rotator was 85% torn and my labrum was completely torn in my right shoulder. I had surgery in April of 2017 by Dr. Luallin. When the surgery was over he repaired my torn rotor cuff, fixed my labrum but in the process had to re-attach my bicep tendon to my shoulder bone and repaired my clavicle. When I woke up they said I had “the works.” It was miserable. Two biggest struggles.. brushing my teeth and blowing my nose left-handed. Of course not being able to use my left arm was bad. Getting out of bed, sleeping, washing myself etc. etc. I was use to going to the gym 5-6 days a week and I was not looking forward to the long road of recovery. I researched on line and on YouTube everything I could to figure out how I could try and recover quickly. I had the surgery on a Friday and I took the pain meds they told me to take that night, Saturday and Sunday. On Monday I stopped taking the prescribed pain meds because I have heard of so many bad stories about being addicted etc. I used an ice machine 24 hours a day for the first 4 days. All night and day. After that I used it every night I went to bed for at least 4 weeks. I don’t care what everyone says about putting ice on for 20 minutes then taking it off and then on again. I slept with it all night and it worked for me. It helped reduce swelling. After about 5 weeks I started going to Amy Duckers at Pinnacle Therapy Services. I’ve always worked out and thought I could really rehab my own shoulder but I was wrong. She explained to me the process and I followed her guidance step by step. I saw her at least 2 times a week for months. I would show up and she would go over specific stretches based on my current mobility. At first I was hesitant but I quickly realized that she was predicting and knew what motion would help and the results were showing. I could feel the scar tissue separate but eventually it went away. It took a few weeks but with her help I had full mobility within a few weeks. I was amazed because I have seen so many people lose mobility. Now with that said my shoulder was still in pain at week 6. I remember that I had my arm out of a sling and shook someone’s hand. Shaking someone’s hand at week 6 caused so much pain I almost went to my knees. I say this but hang in there because it will get better each week if you go to Amy. I truly believe my recover was due to Amy’s help. She is passionate about her job and is very knowledgeable as to what works and doesn’t work. I has been 6 months and 23 days and I’m happy to say I have no pain. I haven’t had pain in my shoulder for probably a couple of months but I really feel like I am almost back to 100% and it is due to having patience and Amy’s guidance. I highly recommend her to anyone that needs rehabilitation.

I have been to multiple pt places for numerous post op therapy. Pinnacle has been my favorite for several reasons including and not limited to; Very friendly and knowledgeable staff that takes time and listens. You will have one on one with a therapist and you will not be bounced around to multiple therapists, and thy don’t juggle patients. Great experience!

The staff at Pinnacle is superb. PT Haley is the very best - caring and creative, she has advanced my treatment at the exact right speed and I am getting better! Lillian is awesome at the front desk, she amazingly gets you the times you need!!! Great team (thanks!) and convenient location (435/Nall).

My experience was completely horrible. The front desk personnel Kelsey was very rude and refused to accept my HSA as a form of payment for PT. They do not explain your benefits for Physical Therapy PRIOR to setting appointments and they don't do "reminder" calls for your appointment(s). This office has wasted so much of my time and still no follow-up. I wouldn't recommend a dog to this place. I wish I wasn't forced to select at least 1 star because they don't deserve it.

My wife had extensive surgery on her knee last month and we were a bit nervous about physical therapy. Haley made us feel completely comfortable from the 1st consultation. She's so amazing-easy to work with and extremely polite and professional. The staff at this location are amazing as well. Even with the distance from our home we wouldn't want to go or work with anyone else.

Love the staff at Pinnacle Therapy Services of Overland Park. They are truly dedicated to helping you achieve the goals for yourself to help you recover or like me to teach my muscles to work properly again. I have come a long way in a very short amount of time and hope that this will help me to stay pain free in the future.

I've been dealing with a nagging pain for years. A lot of doctors kind of shrugged at my issues and a referral here didn't have me too excited at first. I wasn't expecting much until I saw all of the kind letters on the wall from past patients who's lives seemed to have completely changed because of the therapists here. By my second visit, "if it gets fixed" became "when" and that has made all of the difference in the world to me.

Tyler Harris

I originally chose Pinnacle Physical Therapy because of the close proximity to my surgeon, however after 2 months of therapy I can say it was a great decision. The therapists do an amazing job of making you feel welcome and fully understand the importance of the work that they do. I am very thankful for this staff and what they have been able to accomplish with my shoulder recovery to date, and look forward to a full recovery with Pinnacle PT.
