I was referred to Biagio by my doctor who had finally diagnosed my pain in my hip region as SI dysfunction (or something like that). Biagio worked with me on strengthening and told me to stop stretching. This seemed like strange advice but I tried not stretching, or twisting, or forward bending, etc. and discovered that back pain (not the reason I started PT but something that I lived with) was completely gone. Apparently all that stretching when I was in pain made my condition(s) worse. I have been wearing an SI belt for over a year and am happy to say that I can see definite improvements. My pain is significantly reduced (almost to zero) and my ability to move including things I had given up (anything high impact like jogging or jumping jacks). For the first time in three years I can also swim laps without pain. I cannot thank Biagio enough for helping me with a problem that several other PTs had been unable to solve.

It was indeed a pleasure to meet Biagio Mazza, who is the owner and PT on his staff, for a consultation. He quickly zeroed in on my complications even though he thought in the end that he would probably not be able to help me. It would take equipment and trained therapists to do work in balance therapy which he did not have. He therefore referred me on to the next level for testing and then suggested the further step for balance therapy which was the result of a concussion several years ago. I appreciated his candidness in not pushing his own practice but in what would help me the most. His facility is fantastic. I have been dealing with multiple medical issues for many years, including 4 revisions of a knee replacement, cervical and lumbar spinal issues, and bilateral peripheral nerve issues in my upper extremities, requiring 18 surgeries since 2012, and leading me to countless doctors, treatment options, and rehabilitation facilities. Last July, I was required to make a change with my physical therapy and a friend recommended Matt Timm at Elite Physical Therapy. My son had worked with the owner, Biagio Mazza, many years ago for a hamstring injury and loved the care he received. Biagio had him back playing high school football within weeks! To be honest, the thought of starting with another therapist was very overwhelming to me. I was truly over dealing with different PTs and PTAs and spending my time and money doing exercises by myself while my PT or PTA worked with other patients, sometimes up to 6 patients at a time. But, I needed help, so after much prayerful consideration, I decided to give Matt a try. It was the best decision I ever made...a true blessing. I have been working with Matt 3X a week since our initial consultation last August. Elite follows a one patient - one therapist and a total hands on philosophy of treatment, even when a patient is performing their exercises; making necessary adjustments for technique, form, and posture. The patient has the therapist’s undivided attention for the entire session. The facility is excellent and the staff is not only professional, but very kind and caring. Biagio will say hello and ask how I am doing every time I see him! But, I am most impressed with and truly thankful for Matt. In the past, many therapists have been intimidated by my multiple medical issues. Matt was more than willing to help me. His approach is comprehensive and compassionate treating my whole body to lower pain levels and improve function. At the end of each session, he makes sure to point out any positives or progress being made. He is always encouraging and more than willing to answer questions. While his skill and knowledge are incredible, his patience is amazing and awe-inspiring! His is ALWAYS so patient with me. I do not know how far I will be able to get with my recovery, but with Matt’s help and dedication, I am hopeful I will be able to one day achieve a more normal active lifestyle! I've been going to A bunch of different chiropractors was losing hope that I would get some relief. I then set up an appointment here talked to the owner and got a free consultation, he checked out my back learned about what was causing the problem said a brace and shoe insoles were my best bet. He even went online found the back brace I'm currently using and within 2 weeks my back was much more aligned my posture was better even without the brace on and the pain is minimal all of this and I didn't pay a dime! He really cared about getting me better not just A paycheck.

What a difference Jim Dronberger made in my recovery from partial knee replacement surgery. I had originally been a patient of Jim’s after surgery for a torn meniscus and was impressed by his professionalism. Unfortunately, my knee continued to deteriorate and I had to return to surgery for the partial replacement. I also returned to Elite Physical Therapy because I trusted Jim and his professional approach to my initial surgery. Jim not only taught me the appropriate exercises to speed my recovery, he also provided me with alternative exercises that worked the same muscle groups and, most importantly for me, explained the reason for each exercise. I had an objective measure of Jim’s work when I walked faster, stopped taking elevators and went back to the stairs, and improved my motion is general. The curve has always been up. He and his team were prepared, handouts, easy to read instructions and ways to track the comments and apply the ideas and ideals to ones own circumstance. And that was not a come on for more services. His advice to me was precise and directed at specific problems. The therapists took the time to explain what was going on with me, show me the exercises, and give me suggestions on how to improve those issues in my daily life! Her approach is more focused on being well, reaching beyond treating ailments myopically. I haven't seen her at Elite Sports Medicine but if she's available there I would definitely recommend her.

Kimberly is very personable ,and even though we have fun talking, she is very serious about her job.
