This place is horrible. Ridiculously over priced. Just for one single appointment I was charged $370. They were very unsympathetic and basically all they had me do is buy some tennis balls to rub on my shoulder and told me to come back. Glad I didn't. I don't recommend this place at all. This is the first bad review that I've posted for anyone.

I had a mixed experience. At the end of the session they use unsupervised interns for treatment. 1st two visits went great. Lynsey Wagner and assistant Moniqe seemed knowledgeable and talented, the treatments and exercises were helpful. My back had stopped hurting after a month but i had scheduled a follow-up appointment. The third visit was fine until Dillon worked on me. He seems like a nice kid but applied to much pressure and in the wrong places and bruised my back and caused the pain to come back for 2 days. When i called to let Lynsey know he needs more training she defended the treatment as what she told him to do.

Hands down, the best Physical Therapists I have ever worked with! They quickly took away my chronic pain from an MVA & encouraged me to get active again and I’m very grateful for their help! Room for Improvement: It’s going to take me at least a year to pay off my bill. I wasn’t notified that I owed any money until 2 months into the Physical Therapy and Massage sessions - I thought my insurance was covering everything! As soon as I received the bill, I stopped all services. If I had known about this business practice, I never would have moved forward with services I can’t afford! If there’s anyway TAI can communicate with patients in the first weeks or at least the 1st month of service, that would be appreciated - I understand they need time to process insurance and billing, but 2 months seems excessive, right? It’s important for us to know what to expect considering many people have challenging financial situations after experiencing a car accident! Yes, this SE TAI in Boise has the best team ever of Physical Therapists and you’ll get the attention you need! However, please be aware of their business practices, such as how insurance is handled and that you very well might get a bill close to $1000!

It has been 2 years since I treated with Jerrod on a shoulder issue that my doctor said needed surgery. After 6 weeks with Jerrod, it has not returned and I am have remained at full range of motion. His methods were not always pleasant, but man did they work. He was particularly informative and genuinely cared about my progress. If I could say one thing negative, it would only be that I almost had surgery without trying this approach. Do not look elsewhere, you will not regret it.

If you’re an athlete who’s been injured and anxious to get back to competing at full strength, no one can get you there faster and safer than Matt Booth and his staff. As an endurance athlete himself, he is very knowledgeable in training methods and how to recover quickly without causing additional strain. Matt and his team are the best!

Matt Booth is my primary physician for injuries and pain. When the hospital says "its not broken, rest for a couple weeks and we'll see how it feels", I say "ok", then call Matt Booth to fix it. One visit is all you need to know he's the real deal. I call it "black magic" because each visit is accompanied by improvement. The sooner I see him for something the sooner its better. He doesn't just treat injuries, he fixes them by correcting soft tissue abnormalities caused by acute injury or repetitive stress. GO GET FIXED

The therapy I received helped my back pain, but the pain was then transferred to my wallet. Make sure you ask up front what the fees are for new consults and then the follow up therapy sessions. Then call your insurance company to verify what they pay. I didn't do this and got charged for a new consult for my back (which is fine), but then made the mistake of mentioning my shoulder was also hurting. Just like that, I was charged with another $160.00 new consult fee! Had I known that would have occurred, the shoulder could have waited. I imagine they figure insurance would cover it, but guess what...they didn't as the deductible had not been met. Throw in the charge for the shoulder therapy and after only 2 visits, I was stuck with paying out of pocket approximately $300.00. I talked with the office twice and wrote a letter to the parent company (asking to waive the final $53.46)....all of which went on deaf ears. Like I said, the therapy is good, but know what you'll be paying up front before you commit to service.

Shannon M Mcgrath, thank you for all your assistance. I sincerely appreciate your flexibility and willingness to help. Lynsey J Wagner, you have played such an important part and your help won’t be forgotten. I truly appreciate the time you took to talk with me about my symptoms. I know you have tons of patients that need to be seen, so thank you for always accommodating me to make sure I can be treated Dylan Warrington, Thank you for your professional and friendliness. Thank you for providing me with home exercises and following up with me when I am away. I really owe you something. Excellent. Best physical therapists in Boise area. This team of therapists are experts in all the latest techniques in PT. Their knowledge is impressive. Professional yet fun. Would not go anywhere else. Massage therapy is fabulous here also.

I went in because I had back problems for over two months, and my only regret is not coming in sooner. I had two different people work on me and man did they do an amazing job! Part of me hopes I get back problems again just to have these two fine gentlemen work on me again.

I often recommend TAI to friends based on multiple experiences with the team in Southeast Boise. I am an active person and I like to run marathon and ultramarathon distances and use CrossFit as a training mechanism. I have sustained injuries while running, doing CrossFit, cross country skiing, and from a bicycle wreck. No, I’m not that big of a hazard, I’m just not in my 20’s anymore (or 30’s, and I’m just hanging on to my 40’s a few more months). Through the years the team at TAI Southeast Boise has become my first resource for sports injuries. I’ve learned not to wait and see if my issue gets better but to go in soon after I notice a problem. My primary care givers have been Jerrod and Matt and both are active and understand the drive to stay active while recovering from an injury. The models of care that have been provided to me are effective and initiate change quickly. The support staff of physical therapy assistants and front office personnel have also been professional and personable. If you have an injury, sports related or just from life, I recommend you give them a visit and discuss your options. I haven’t been disappointed, but I have been able to recover and get back to doing the things I enjoy.

Love Therapeutic Associates! Everyone is friendly and professional!

I will forever be grateful to Matt Booth & the team at Therapeutic Associates!! I had a shoulder injury that for 6 months kept me from sleeping & working out! I saw 2 other physical therapists, 1 chiropractor, 2 massage therapists and tried countless pain meds and natural remedies to try to get relief and sleep! I even had a steroid injection into the shoulder joint - to no avail! Thankfully someone referred me to Therapeutic Associates because my next step was very expensive diagnostic tests and probably surgery. Within the first few visits I was sleeping again, and within a month, I was back at the gym doing full upper-body workouts! Each practitioner that I've seen at the clinic is kind, knowledgeable, and thorough! I refer everyone to this clinic now! And I'm going back to get treatment on old injuries! Next up - my knee! Because I NEED to run a 5K again! THANK YOU! THANK YOU! THANK YOU!! You saved me so much time, money, recovery and rehabilitation by using your specialized Fascial Distortion Model (FDM) treatments! Did I mention how grateful I am!?!?! :-)
