My husband was referred by his Doctor for physical therapy on his back. He called and made an appointment and was emailed the paperwork necessary prior to the appointment. Included in the paperwork was a request (actually demand) for our credit card number incase he was late or missed an appointment or our insurance didn't pay. We have full coverage without co-pays or deductibles so, no problem there. They also asked for his Social Security number. They don't need that anymore. My husband called and asked if it was mandatory that a credit card number be given. They said yes. He canceled his appointment. It is ridiculous to require credit card information when one doesn't owe anything. We really don't want that information floating around their office files for who knows whose eyes. Bad policy, bad business practice.

Physio One requires a credit card to be held on file. Their policy is they will only charge it with permission or if payment is due. Physio One refused to see me without putting the card or check on file. My out of pocket with my insurance has been reached. All of my 20 appointments would have been covered at 100% however they refused to see me. I do not feel as if it is unreasonable to wish to keep my financial accounts to myself when no money is due. I spent 20 minutes filling out paperwork to find this out.

Absolutely love the care I have been given here! They really try find the root of your problems and they keep trying new things until they find it. Once they do figure out the problem, they demonstrate and give you exercise plans to help you get back on track as quickly and efficiently as possible! I would recommend (and have recommended) Physio One to anyone looking for guidance on how to help themselves get their body back on track.

Tyler and his amazing staff at Physio One have helped me thru several surgeries. If not for running at only a percentage of my body weight on the Alter G, I would not have finished several Ironman's after a broken foot and surgery. The facility isn't that typical 15 minute appointment I was used to with PT's. At Physio One, I undergo a PT session, a workout, a list of home exercise, and recovery.

Tyler is a nice guy and I'm sure a good physical therapist. However, I went to him a few times in 2013 and paid him for each visit upon leaving each visit. Then I started receiving statements saying I owed them money, which I didn't. I called and told them they made a billing mistake and asked them to fix it. I have been receiving statements for 2 years now and I just ignore it. However, now I'm receiving notices from a collection agency and today received a phone call from the collection agency informing me my account has been reported to my credit rating bureaus. All for $100 they say I never paid. I called Physio One today and they admitted that they had some administrative "chaos" during that time period and had numerous issues with this same thing happening. Now I have to be the one to deal with spending probably hours disputing the mark on my credit score and getting it removed. NO THANKS PHYSIO ONE, I WILL NEVER DO BUSINESS WITH YOU IF YOU CAN'T FIGURE OUT HOW TO RUN YOUR COMPANY PROPERLY!!!

My experience at Physio One has been excellent. The staff is top notch. Dr. Blackwelder and his team are very professional, using current techniques and patient data to help patients recover. Everyone is knowledgeable and helpful. I had access to high end equipment that was not available when I was a patient at other therapy offices in Atlanta. There is a high standard of care at Physio One. I recommended Physio One to my family and I can recommend this office to anyone who needs physical therapy services. You won't be disappointed!
