Back in July of 2018, I fell causing a 50% tear in my left shoulder Rotator Cuff. I entertained the idea of having surgery to repair the damage but later decided to try Physical Therapy (and, I'm glad I did) at the 'Idaho Spine and Sports' (located at Five Mile and Ustick) after attending their Rotator cuff Seminar. When I arrived I was assessed by Tyler Haskell (Clinical Director and doctor of Physical Therapy). He took measurements of my range of motion and observed the pain I expressed verbally or by facial expressions while observing my movements. With patience and determination from Tyler it was felt that he could improve on my situation by 70%. And, I'm on my way to attaining that goal, thanks to the marvelous efforts of Tyler. Through shoulder manipulation, heat treatments, stimulation of shoulder blood circulation, stretching exercises, and exercises my range of motion has improved, along with more strength returning, and I can now fall asleep on my left side, as I did prior to the injury, which is a much welcomed relief. Thank you, Tyler for all of your wonderful help - you have such a great staff. Keep up the great work!

Went in for a free consultation and they were nice. I didn’t book the evaluation because what they are offering to do for my injury, I am already receiving duplicate services from my massage therapist. I was originally upset because their offer on their Axiom perks states that I would receive a free gift after my free consultation. Amy at the front desk stated that I would have to attend my evaluation to receive my gift. I don’t know if I misenterpreted what they were offering, but if it truly is an offer after the evaluation, it should be reworded. It is misleading. I originally left a poor review, but after reconsideration felt they didn’t deserve that. I thought I had erased it but obviously didn’t and received a phone call he next day from the Tyler, my PT, stating Amy did not understand the offer and that I should stop by for my free gift. Tyler explained how, being a new office, they cared a lot about their google reviews. I explained and apologized for being tired and overly judgmental yesterday and I thought I had deleted it. I appreciate them calling me to make it right. If my injury does not get better I may contact them for sevivces. My only sugggetion is to clarify the offer on Axiom perks or make sure their staff understands it as I’m not sure where the loss in communication happened.

These are amazing PT's. I had extreme pain radiating from my artificial left hip down to my foot. I could not walk without limping and the pain interrupted sleep. An xray showed that I have 4 collapsed vertebrae on the left side. I had no idea of this problem and I was told that surgery was the only answer. My daughter had excellent results at this clinic and pleaded with me to "try PT before surgery." Given the structural problems with my spine, I did not believe PT could do anything to help, but I went to make her happy. They said they could help and they did! To my utter amazement, within 3 months, I no longer had pain and still do not as long as I do the exercises given. The structural problem is still there, obviously, but the pain is gone. Surgery is no longer "necessary." I am so grateful! I am now a believer in PT and will tell anyone who will listen. Try this before surgery. These are skilled professionals. Go!
