They have the best staff in town. Every single person there genuinely cares for each person that walks thru their doors. They go above and beyond for everyone and have exceeded my expectations. They truly know what they are doing and communicate with one another so that your treatment stays consistent. The one on one time you get with both the physical therapist and the therapy trainer is amazing. They explain what you are doing during your session, make sure you are doing your exercises correctly and answer any/all questions along the way. Highly recommend them.

They give clear explanations about the procedures, and they are encouraging and help you stay on task. No time is wasted. The office staff is pleasant, helpful and welcoming. So this is hard because I truly think the PT I've seen, Zeb, did a great job and listen very well and I was willing to go see him again. However, they make you pay immediately even when you tell them that your insurance will cover it. I understand they are afraid of not getting their money, however, my insurance did pay them three days after I did, now almost two months, three phone calls later I am still waiting for my reimbursement. The first time I called they told me I had to wait the next billing cycle to get reimbursed. I think it's unacceptable when you except your patient to pay immediately. The second time they told me to wait for the following week. The third time I was told that they were sending my check that day. That was last Wednesday, still nothing. In the mean time I have received coupons to go back and a phone call for a workshop, but no check. So if you have met your deductible go there, if you have not, avoid the place.

I'm getting treatment for my hip and they are doing a good job helping me though it. I would recommend them, also if you work out at Axiom, this is one of their perx partners so you get cool stuff for that! :)

Five weeks ago, I could barely walk into their McMillan location on my own as I had a major case of sciatica that developed after total knee replacement surgery in November. I've never had prolonged lower back pain but an MRI showed I have degenerative disk disease throughout my entire lumbar region which was aggravated by the altered gait i had prior to the knee replacement. My orthopedist strongly urged me to seek treatment from Idaho Spine and Sports as they were the best in the Valley, in his opinion. And how right he was! I started feeling significantly better after a couple of sessions and saw improvement week to week. Today, I turned the corner as I'm now 99% pain free. I'm going to finish out my 8-week program that they strongly urged me to do so that I can focus on strengthening my lower back muscles and learn some things I can do on my own to prevent this from happening again. They also worked on the leg with the new knee and greatly improved my flexibility and range of motion. When you go there, you will be seen by a Doctor of Physical Therapy that will work with you for approximately half the session and then you work with a Physical Therapy Trainer for the balance of the time. I cannot say enough good things about them--they've given me my active life back. If you have physical ailments of any kind that would benefit from PT, do yourself a favor and go to Idaho Spine and Sports.

Going to ISSPT was well worth the 45-minute drive! My doctor recommended Dr. Candau specifically, and both he & the whole staff were great to work with. I saw a lot of improvement over a series of sessions. Lots of immediate pain relief, as well as exercises to help me stay pain-free & develop better posture. The office staff is helpful; all of my appointments started right on time!

I sought treatment after a car accident. The practitioners were good at their jobs, but the reception staff people were highly incompetent, poorly trained, and unsupervised. I encountered incompetence when trying to schedule an appointment and ended up having to leave because I didn't have time to wait for them to figure out the computer system. Today, I made a request for my records. I was given a BS answer by a receptionist as to why she couldn't give me an invoice. Turns out, she didn't know what she was talking about, and she made up answers instead of just saying she didn't know what to do. This led to more frustration for me, and has soured my experience. I called to complain and spoke to the reception manager. She made excuses for poor performance, didn't apologize for the lack of quality service, and had an attitude of ambivalence when I expressed how irritated I was. If I need PT in the future, I will likely go somewhere else.

For two months I suffered with pain in my shoulder and pain, tingling and numbness down my right arm. I saw two Doctors, a chiropractor and even tried acupuncture with no relief. I started going to Matt 3 weeks ago and instantly knew I was in expert hands. Today after only 6 treatments I only have a slight tingling down my forearm remaining. I am confident I will be 100% at the end of my treatment. Matt is an expert, very knowledgeable and a professional in his field. I also recommended that my husband be evaluated by him for problems with some old surgical scar problems he has been suffering with for years. He is experiencing great results under his treatment. SUMMARY: They know their stuff, and are polite, but are stingy about money. EDIT: In response to this review, they have given me a full refund and offered me a "complimentary" physical therapy session, which I declined. I went in for my first consultation appointment at ISSPT to see what was wrong with my shoulder and back. Dr. Steve Oswald saw me and was a nice guy and seemed to know his stuff. After my consultation appointment, I was asked to pay $130! I was unaware of this charge until the appointment was over. After my own research, I discovered you have to ASK to have a (free) "Discovery" appointment at their clinic. I was then told that they assume everyone wants a full hour consultation and schedule people without offering the free alternative. It all felt pretty deceiving and seemed like a way to take advantage of people who don't know any better. I asked for a refund, but was denied because of something to do with insurance. BUT, Dr. Oswald did confirm some preconceptions I had about my shoulder and back, and their secretary Gigi (or Jiji) is amazing (seriously she needs a raise). She kept in contact with me throughout the whole incident, and told me she will bring up the situation in the upcoming meeting.

I recently completed approximately 25 sessions with Idaho Spine & Sports to address an issue with my right knee. Prior to beginning physical therapy I thought I would have to have knee surgery. I had an absolutely great experience during my 7 weeks of physical therapy to treat a shoulder injury. The entire staff were always friendly, courteous, professional, and prompt. My therapy sessions always began on time, and had a nice organized flow to them.
