For athletes and non-athletes looking for personal, customized and precise care with a team that takes on the same goals that you aspire to, I encourage you to look no further than Lamar and his crew. I have been with Lamar for over two years (during that time ran 3 marathons, several half-marathons and one 100-mile ultra marathon) and can say with certainty, that he has guided me to each of my come-backs from injury (including a recent extensive hip labral repair surgery). He studies the whole body, not just the part that is the current problem, allowing us to derail potential future injuries before they ever have a chance. It's safe to say that if I could give 10 starts, I would.

I want to shout to everyone, “If you are in need of physical therapy, run to Georgia Sports Physical Therapy!” Knowledgeable, passionate, professional, experienced, uplifting, fun, motivating, encouraging and RESULTS are just a few words I would use to describe this facility. I had a biking accident 9 months ago that resulted in the worst injury I’ve endured thus far in my life. I was able to start Physical Therapy 6 weeks post op. My Physical Therapy journey didn’t start out here, but fortunately a friend recommended Dr. Lamar to me about one month into my PT quest and I couldn’t be happier with my over all experience and results! It’s been a long recovery road that isn’t over yet, but I can’t imagine where I would be right now without Lamar! I can’t write this review without a shout out to Lamar’s Associate, Dr. Phillip Wyatt, as well. I had a session with him over the holidays and was super impressed. He is superb and the continuity of care was excellent!

After my ankle surgery, I continued physical therapy with GSPT with Reza. He is honest, positive, and focuses on what is working. GSPT offers after 5 pm appointment and validates parking (Marta deck). All therapist (Brittany and Lamar) at GSPT are great. I highly recommend.

I highly recommend Dr. Phillip Wyatt! I had been dealing with nagging knee pain for 6+ months that caused discomfort squatting, lunging, and even walking upstairs. On my first visit Dr. Wyatt was able to pinpoint the cause of the pain, and within one month of treatment (a combination of soft-tissue work, stretching, and strengthening exercises done in-office and at home), my knee pain was virtually nonexistent. On top of the great treatment, Dr. Wyatt is also a great guy; very personable and easy to talk to.

Dr. Lamar is the man. He was incredibly thorough and gave me personalized one-on-one care that was highly effective, insightful, and fun. He encouraged me and kept me positive throughout each session. My quality of life has greatly improved and cannot speak highly enough of him. Also, I can second other reviews in that I have been to other PT places and I felt like I was at a factory during my time there. Dr. Lamar gave me his undivided attention during each session and that made me feel like my time was valued and more importantly, that he genuinely cared about me and my progress.

Nothing short of miraculous!!! I cannot bestow enough praise on Lamar Frasier. He is spot on with all his recommendations. I was hobbling around dragging my right leg like Quasimodo for 2-3 weeks when I finally got in to see Lamar. A couple of simple tests & his dry needling(this is the key).and my gait is straight again. Pain immensely decreased! I am a true proponent of dry needling & he is amazing at hitting the trigger points. I will be making this part of my monthly wellness routine.

Hands down THE best sports physical therapy not only for athletes but the everyday individual. I am a professional track and field athlete that suffered from hamstring and ankle injuries for months. After seeing Dr. Fraiser he has help restore me and I am healing rapidly. Rehab is worth it. I am so glad I gave him a call. Lamar has given my career life again. You WON'T be disappointed. He's amazing!

Dr. Frasier is my hero..... I walk in feeling miserable with routine fitness issues and he is able to identify the source of my problem and resolve it without recommending medication or surgery. My fitness journey is ongoing with marathons, triathlons and strength training so I need a physical therapist that understand my passion so I can continue doing what I love without causing damage. Thank you GSPT

What an outstanding job Lamar and the team did for my recovery for an Achilles tear. I'm a mid 40's recreational athlete that loves to play basketball, strength train, and run with my kids for better overall health. I thought that was all over when I tore my Achilles. When I went to Dr. Myers to confirm the tear and schedule the surgery last March, his office gave me a list of physical therapist and I thankfully did not spend a second looking at them because I had worked with Lamar before and knew that he would take good care of me. His team of therapist did more than that, they took away my worrying about if I would ever be able to do the things I love. His team of physical therapists used the recovery protocols to help me regain motion, strength, balance, movement for jumping and running mechanics that started 2 days after my surgery. After 9 months, I was running back to full training a few times a week and returned to the basketball court within a year. What makes these guys special is they identified all of my body’s strengths and weaknesses and catered them to the sports he knew I wanted to play. They also kept me in line from pushing my recovering too much because Lamar knew how hard I wanted to work to get better as quickly as possible. Thank you so much for the dedication to my recovery.

Georgia Sports Physical Therapy is wonderful. I suffered from severe, chronic low back pain and after seeing many doctors, chiropractors, and other physical therapists I believed there was nothing that could be done. Once I started working with Lamar, it was immediately a different feel. It truly is one on one, personalized treatment. Lamar explains everything thoroughly - I honestly can't believe how much I learned from him about my own body as well. Today I am pain-free and have been discharged from PT. I am sad that I won't be seeing Lamar on a regular basis anymore because he is such a great person. But I know that he has given me the tools to stay pain-free. I would recommend Georgia Sports PT to anyone. They will take great care of you!

Dr. Lamar is the best! I’ve had great experience and speedy recovery thanks to him. He is so patient and takes the time to listen and explain everything, every time. I was able to completely trust him. He helped me immensly in recovering from my shoulder injury. I highly recommend him.

If you need a physical therapist, stop now and make an appointment with GSPT. I had previously seen 3 physical therapists for shoulder related issues and a winging scapula with little results outside of symptom relief. Within the first few visits at Georgia Sports Physical Therapy, Dr. Frasier was able produce results greater than I ever expected. First, through an extensive initial evaluation he was able to identify the root cause issues that everyone else overlooked. Second, we worked one-on-one to develop and implement a rehabilitation program which not only relieved the pain, but also allowed me to begin a much more intense physical training program with a personal trainer that he recommended and consulted with on my behalf. Dr. Frasier is a skilled professional who knows how to help people overcome their physical limitations and reach their maximum potential.

Dr. Frasier was amazing! I received a referral from friend who is an amazing sports massage therapist in her own right, for a probable strained soleous. She told me “he is the Mr.Miyagi of physical therapy” A similar injury and pain had happened many years ago, so I almost knew what it was. She had referred several other people to him and they have had outstanding results. So, I scheduled my appointment, went in and went right to work. Dr. Frazier listened, he ruled out and then set me on a course to get me back to the podium. We had a treatment plan from day one, using resistance training, basic home exercises, deep massage, dynamic stretching, dry needling, rest and tape. Results were simply fantastic!!!!!!! Tell your friends, he is the real deal!!!! Can’t thank you enough!!!!!

Georgia Sports Physical Therapy is the best! I had the great fortune of being referred to Dr. Lamar Frasier for PT after suffering from a debilitating back injury. After a thorough evaluation - which was explained to me during the whole process - Dr. Frasier tailored a treatment program designed for me that has had tremendous results! Not only is Dr. Frasier a skilled doctor, but he is a compassionate person who genuinely cares about the well-being of his patients.

Dr. Phillip Wyatt is great! Came to him for a terrible case of ITBS and just overall tight hips, and he was able to get me back to running without pain. He is very attentive and created a plan that was catered specifically to my needs. Definitely recommend going to see him for all your PT needs!

Emily Bragg

After a nagging ankle injury, I started going to Dr. Frazier, and I was able to get back to long-distance backpacking without any issues with said ankle, but he also helped me to learn other issues with my alignment that made me a much stronger athlete after working on them!

Andris

Dr. Moore was fantastic. The results I got after seeing her were well beyond my expectations. I got immediate relieve for what brought there initially. I will continue seeing her for treatment for ailments I had long written off as something I would just need to live with.

Dr. Frasier gave me my life back. I really don’t write reviews but I am so grateful to Dr. Frasier I had to. I was in a car accident and had neck pain for a solid year following the accident. I had tried months of physical therapy at a big name clinic in town, steroid shots, massage therapy, chiropractor, etc. and nothing worked. I went to see Dr. Frasier and within 3 months he had me running again for the first time in months. I was back to my normal self and working out 3 – 4 times a week after that. His medical review was always very thorough and he gave explanations every step of the way. It is very obvious Dr. Frasier cares about his patients and loves what he does. Thank you again Dr. Frasier!!!!

Alex Schudel

I went to see Dr. Phillip Wyatt for a neck injury that resulted in intense pain and weakness in my left arm and back. Phillip is very knowledgeable and took the time to explain everything that we were working on as I progressed through my recovery. Overall, I have been impressed with the service and credit Phillip with my progress; he is one of the better PTs that I have seen. I would definitely go back to Phillip for any other PT needs (hopefully no more). 5 stars.

Dr. Frasier helped accurately diagnose and treat a running injury and get me back in better shape than ever. Thank you!

Elisabeth Krow-Lucal

Love these guys. Phil Wyatt is AMAZING and has been super helpful. I tore my acl and wrecked my meniscus and have had a super long and problem filled recovery (bad luck, bad doctors, etc.). But Phil has been great through it all. He worked with me pre surgery and post surgery - really responsive, listens to me, work with me to figure things out, and super helpful with dealing with my insurance nightmare. Can not recommend him enough!
