Renewal Rehabilitation is more than just physical therapy. After an Achilles tendon repair with restructure surgery, I began going to Renewal. It has been four weeks into therapy and I am gaining strength and improving walking skills. The staff is fantastic, caring,patient and very aware of each days need for assistance and therapy progression. I could not ask for a better positive environment in attitude, encouragement and flexibility. The workouts are challenging and varied with the final goal of healing in mind. I went in for treatment due to knee pain discomfort after each run along with really bad back pain. After twice a week visiting Renewal Rehabilitation and 3 weeks later I was able to learn the techniques that are imperative to being free of pain and tightness during and after running. I not only learned vital and key stretches to pain free running but I learned why the body experiences pain from the knee and the sciatica nerve. Greg, Caroline, Julie and Alexandria were so instrumental in my healing and education of my body that I can't thank them enough. I tried Physical Therapy once before coming to Renewal Rehabilitation for problems with my knee and did not think there was any use to PT. But then I had surgery on my shoulder and on a recommendation, came to Renewal Rehabilitation. After my first visit, my opinion about PT had completely changed. They were very professional, and knowledgeable. I actually enjoyed and looked forward to going to my appointments. I regained 100% mobility in my shoulder after a level 5 separation of my AC joint. Although the shirt that is hung up makes them sound a bit sadistic, they are truly kind and enjoyable people to be around. They will not hesitate to push you to your limit to get you the best result if you are ever in pain or tiered they will lay off and give you a break. I went for a few months when my neck was giving me troubles, it had been like that for so many years that I couldn't even remember a time when I had no pain. Even after many visits to chiropractors it was only a short term fix. I can say now I am leaving with an amount of pain to were I only rarely notice it. They have solved what chiropractors took years to not even fix in a few months. I highly recommend this place.

This place is awesome!!! I hurt my knee working out recently and someone I work out with recommended this place. From the very first visit, everyone was so friendly and accommodating. On my first visit, I had a private consultation with Julie who explained what happened to my knee and explained my planned treatment plan with expected timeline of 6 weeks. After my initial consultation, my primary therapists were Julie, Wendy, and Chantel. Everyday I came in, they were so friendly and always picked up my spirits. I never was self conscious about my abilities but they also pushed me in a positive way. Besides these three, everyone else in the facility, from the receptionists to other therapists, were always so encouraging. They all made it seem like they were excited to see me. Additionally, someone was always watching over me during my therapy, correcting me on my form, congratulating me on my progress, etc. Even my non-primary therapists would acknowledge my progress from the first day I came in. It's a clean and state of the art facility as well in a very nice location. They also have a South Tampa office. I can't stress enough that besides the physical aspect of this facility, the employees take the time to make a genuine connection / friendship with their patients whether by complimenting my workout shoes or by asking about my weekend plans as well as explaining theirs. And this wasn't just for me. I would hear the same types of conversations all the employees had with their patients. I love this place and I'm almost sad that my 6 week program has come to an end. It's refreshing and gives me a piece of mind to know that I now have a place to go if something similar were to happen in the future.

I would recommend this place to anyone! I came here about two months ago unable to walk without pain in my foot after two surgeries. I came in three days a week and they gradually increased the level of my exercises. Two months later and I am able to run a mile without pain! I came to Renewal Rehab after ignoring my issue for MANY months and trying to deal with it myself. It got worse and worse to the point where I thought going to rehab wouldn't be very helpful since I made it so painful! Thankfully, I was wrong. Greg and the staff at Renewal quickly identified exactly what was going on (unlike other non-PT areas in desperation) and made me feel much better about my future prospects with the injury. My pulled hamstring was angry and I had a lot of scar tissue to push through, but they encouraged me through everything and I made excellent progress much faster than I imagined. I feel relieved to have tackled my injury and am almost back to 100%, which is not what I thought would happen. I felt that they were knowledgable about exactly which exercises I needed to do to strengthen my muscles and heal. They watched me carefully to make sure I had good form and answered questions and concerns, even via text and phone. In particular, Wendi and Carolyn were AMAZING and extremely supportive and knowledgable. I am glad I found them and will definitely head right back here if I ever have another injury again. This place is completely legit and you will been taken care of. Thank you Renewal!!

The entire staff monitors your progress to ensure you are progressing through the exercises. I think the most impressive aspect of these professionals is their team organization. Even if they are not directly involved with someone’s exercise routine, each one will offer assistance to ensure the patient is not suffering from fatigue or pain. Greg has the staff so well trained and organized that any individual team member could run the operation and without missing a beat. I would not hesitate recommending this team to anyone in need of physical assistance. P.S. I'm back again. It so much fun working with this staff of professionals I had to go out again and hurt myself. Man it's fun being old. They are the same conscientious staff as the first time I wrote the previous review. I just don't enjoy the pain I have to create on my old body in order to get the care and attention from this highly trained crew. If you're sore don't suffer any longer come see these great pain healers.

Renewal Rehab seriously changed my world! I tore my ACL almost a year ago and tried PT with another practice prior however, I was not better after this or near where I used to be. I stopped PT thinking I was never going to get better. When I came to Renewal I had NO muscle tone in my quad and lots of instability. There was no way so could go skiing in 2 months without injuring myself. I went to Renewal and sure enough Renewal gave me my strength, stability, and mobility back and I was able to skii comfortably in Colorado in only 2 MONTHS! The whole crew there is phenomenal. I am an R.N., and my first visit to Renewal Rehab was to the South Tampa office, which was the only office at the time, I was having sever lower back pain extending down leg to my toes. I walk in and am greeted by this smiling energetic man explaining to me he was going to first assess my needs and create a plan to help me rid myself of the pain. As I worked with Gregg and his co horts I always felt that my recovery was very important to them. While we warmed up and worked out he was constantly talking about all the things in his life he was excited about, his job, his family, his dreams. He managed to get me excited not only about recovery , but about maintaining . I remember when they first started the walking/running groups that met after they closed the clinic the distance from my home kept me from joining them , but encouraged me to do it myself at home. I have referred others to them , have taken my husband there after he developed cancer and alzheimers. We have always been treated with respect and had the feeling that they cared about all of us. This is not only Gregg and Mike but all the staff. A big thanks to all of you. One thing for sure Gregg never stops thinking about how to improve himself and us.

I started with Renewal Rehab just 12 days after my total knee replacement on 11/6/18. The office is clean and the equipment in good working order. I worked with their friendly knowledgeable therapists for the past 7 weeks, usually 3X each week. The staff was courteous and prepared for each different workout. They questioned me each time about my pain levels and my progress. Everyone is the office knows your name and are professional. I am happy to say I was able to go back to Jazzercise teaching Lo Impact classes on 1/4/19, just 2 months after a total knee replacement. A couple of pictures of my first day back on stage. This place saved my life. I had foot surgery in October and this was my last phase that I had to do. They are always praising you on your progress and making you feel like a super star. Very positive atmosphere. Its start at the front desk with Jessica or Andy very sweet and lovely smiles. It gets better Sheekha or Nici flutters up like sweet little buttersflies (makes your heart feelso blessed to join them in the exercise area) then the main course Chantel,Windi or Homer ,is a real ham, they work you as hard as you can possible stand ,with breaks and then its all over they massage your foot add tenses unit and ice packs. What a wonderful experience and if I have to have anymore physical therapy this is the place. You have to go just for the experience of being around wonderful, positive and gracious people. Within a month and a half of therapy at Renewal I have completely regained mobility and have resumed all physical activity, which include working on my feet all day, swimming and dancing, with no handicap. I have been a patient/client of Renewal Rehabilitation for 6 weeks. I literally limped into my first session. I am recovering from achilles tendon repair surgery. I was in a considerable amount of pain and had a lot of stiffness in my right foot when I first started therapy. I can happily say that is no longer the case. I first went to Renewal Rehab. two years ago for frozen shoulders. Dr. Todd and his team set up a work plan which took care of the problem. Now I am back because the muscle on my thighs and legs are very tight. I have never had a better experience with a Rehab/PT team than I have with RR, and as a weightlifter I’ve unfortunately had my fair share of booboos and subsequent PT referrals. I am currently working with RR for the second time and I am just as pleased with my experience as I was when I worked with them in 2017. They got me back into my sport (and even stronger) back then, and I have full faith in their ability to do so again. Everyone on this team is positive, friendly, extremely knowledgeable, and really wants their patients to improve. This is an excellent Physical Therapy facility. I had gone to another facility for the same injury and all they saw was "old and fat" and did nothing to challenge me and did nothing to heal my body. I knew that I needed something else. I found the website for Renewal Rehab. The first time I met with Julie and she told me what was wrong with me and what we were going to do to fix it! I worked with Wendy and she was awesome. She challenged me each and every time that I came and I am feeling much better. I had a lower back injury and I can now move without pain. There is a team effort here so there is always someone to help you and make sure that you are doing the exercises correctly. Do not waste your time or money going anywhere else. All of the therapists here are very kind, compassionate and most of all very knowledgeable.

I was referred to the Hyde Park facility by Dr. Pettygrove (my primary physician - he deserves a special thanks). This was after having surgery following an injury out-of-state and being referred to a local specialist, who did not recommend PT. Mike and his staff really helped speed up my recovery. I couldn't have done this myself. My NJ surgeon was very pleased with my progress when I was able to visit him several months later. Rehab was difficult at times - but we worked through the pain thanks to the excellent work of Mike and his staff. I am so pleased with the results that I have continued twice a week on an exercise program. Thank you. I highly recommend.

I was not looking forward to having to do PT after surgery. But when I started with this professional, fun group I actually started to look forward to coming. The environment was great with cool music not elevator music to make working out fun. Loved my time here. The staff was friendly and professional but at the same time fun. I came in barely being able to walk and now I built my strength back and can walk with balance great. I will definitely miss these guys, it won't be the same working out at home.

Best PT Rehab in all of Tampa! When I arrived at Renewal Rehab 3 mos ago, I was a broken person following a hip replacement that had serious painful complications 8wks after surgery, and had 6wks of factory type PT that was worthless , didn't even know my I was extremly depressed, hopeless and looking for answers and someone to care about what had happened to me . Someone to commit to my total recovery with me that had skills to heal me!. The staff did just that. They have been instrumental in my healing physically and emotionally. These people are great! I went in with a left hip and lower back injury because of squats and deadlifts. I was evaluated by Julie and started a rehab program the same day. As time went on, I started feeling better and within 3-4 weeks I was squatting again beginning with 135 lbs. As of 08-02-17, I am squatting 355 lbs and deadlifting 450 lbs without pain. It's no where near my maxes but I'll get back there eventually. Thanks to everyone who helped with my rehab especially Wendy and Lebbet who's not there anymore

The entire team is AMAZING! I've been taking my grandmother to the center for the past 2 months, and they have been wonderful. Each member of the team takes special care in each patient making sure that they are progressing in their treatment. On day 1 of therapy we were told the "No pain, No gain" rule does NOT apply at the center. Thus, the team modified each exercise to make it possible for my grandmother to perform without over exerting her. They modified and re-modified her regimen without getting frustrated. Overall, the entire staff is knowledgeable and truly sincere. They celebrate patient accomplishments and make the patients feel empowered.
